Milf Note-Chapter 142: Bathroom Break
Lazily working on privilege tier.
"Yes," Percival replied. "Just yesterday in the hall, he stopped me out of nowhere, asking questions about Akemi and what we do when we’re hanging. He’s clearly jealous and doesn’t like that we are spending time together."
Akemi’s brow furrowed deeply, her fingers tightening on the pen as she pondered to herself. "Haru? Well, he is something of a delinquent isn’t he?"
She leaned back, chair groaning, her voice dropping to a steely whisper. "If not for his grandfather’s reach and donations he would have been long from this school."
Renji stared at her. "I don’t know if you’re supposed to be telling me that."
She looked at him, not even caring about what he just said as she continued to think out loud. "I’ve had my eye on him for a while and he is in the list of my suspects..."
She trailed off, eyes blazing, then composed herself with a sharp exhale. "Thank you for the insight, Kenshiro. But keep looking, I want this individual caught before my daughter falls in the deep end."
Renji nodded gravely. "Of course, ma’am. I’ll stay vigilant."
She dismissed him with a curt wave, already reaching for her phone. "Good. Dismissed."
Haru walked out of the office into the hallway. He didn’t have a true reason for lying about Haru, making him a scapegoat, he only knew it was the best secret move.
Recess wasn’t over, but Renji knew it would be in a couple minutes so there was no need to go see Ms Katsura. He would fuck her later.
As he headed back to his homeroom, he heard a noise— no multiple noises rather. It was coming from the hallway to the left, the one that led to the school gym.
It sounded like muffled shouts and scuffles.
Curious, Renji edged closer to investigate what it was. He peered around the corner, and there, in the dim recess of the outdoor storage shed, he saw Kaito and his bully squad.
They had cornered a scrawny classmate of theirs, one who was even nerdier than Renji, by the look of his wide-eyed terror and ill-fitting uniform.
He was scrawled on the ground, looking up in fear.
"Don’t you see where you are going! Why bother buying glasses if you’re not going to use them!"
Kaito took the boy’s glasses and stepped on it, cracking it in half as the others kicked the boy.
Renji’s eyes burned with rage. These bastards.
A surge of his resentment, memories of his own torment at their hands flashed like lightning.
"Hey!" He stepped into the hallway, his voice stopping their assault. "Hey! Back off him. Four on one? Real tough, huh?"
The group whirled, surprise flickering across their faces before hardening into sneers. Kaito’s eyes narrowed, his fist clenching tighter. "Kenshiro? Mind your own business, freak. This doesn’t concern you."
Renji stood his ground, dropping his backpack with a thud. He’d never fought before, but he felt such a rush of adrenaline that it was all he wanted to do right now.
"It does now. Let him go, or we’ll have a problem."
The bullies kid darted a grateful glance at Renji, but Haru laughed outright, stepping forward with mock bravado.
"Oh, big hero now? Since when do you play knight?"
Renji narrowed his eyes. He didn’t regret throwing Haru under the bus at all anymore.
Iroha and Jiro smiled from ear to ear. "Finally. You’re the one troubling us now so it’s okay if we beat you up, right?"
Renji’s jaw tightened, adrenaline spiking. "Last chance. Walk away."
Kaito spat on the ground, his face twisting into a feral snarl. "Fuck this. Get him, boys!"
They all attacked in a group.
Renji realized then that he didn’t know what he was doing, but there was no time for that now. They were already attacking.
Kaito lunged first, swinging a wild haymaker aimed at Renji’s jaw. It was telegraphed and sloppy, fueled by arrogance.
Renji didn’t believe it but it was like time had slowed down for him. He could see Kaito’s hand swinging towards him perfectly, every millisecond of the motion.
Was Kaito that slow or had Renji turned to Barry Allen or something?
His body moved on instinct, ducking under the punch with surprising agility, his fist rocketing up in a brutal uppercut that connected with Kaito’s chin like a thunderclap.
The impact echoed off the shed walls, Kaito’s head snapping back, teeth clacking together as blood sprayed from his split lip.
He staggered, eyes widening in shock.
Renji was just as shocked. Did I... did I just do that?
Others were coming, so he quickly used the time he had to cause as much damage as possible to Kaito.
He pressed on his advantage with a flurry of hooks and jabs, each one landing with bone-jarring force.
A right cross to the ribs crumpled Kaito’s guard, eliciting a pained wheeze; a left hook to the temple sent him reeling into the fence, stars exploding in his vision.
"You little shit!" Kaito roared, swinging blindly, but Renji sidestepped effortlessly, countering with a vicious knee to the gut that doubled him over, gasping for air.
’Holy shit!’ Renji exclaimed in his mind. ’I can fight!!’
When Jiro lunged in, he swooped under his hands, twisted around Haru, ducked Iroha and lunged at Kaito again.
He felt electric, adrenaline pumping through him with anger. He could finally make this bastard suffer for all he did.
Kaito tried to escape but Renji was faster. As he moved, his breathing was even calm despite the tension.
He felt his muscles burn, channeling a raw power he didn’t know he possessed.
He grabbed Kaito by the collar, slamming him against the wall with a harsh thud. Then, as Kaito groaned in pain, Renji began showering his face with attacks.
He pummeled his face with precise, relentless strikes: a jab splitting his eyebrow, an elbow cracking against his cheekbone, turning the smug leader’s features into a swollen, bloody mess.
Kaito’s knees buckled, his swings growing feeble as he slumped, murmuring curses through pulped lips. "S-stop... you freak..."
The bullied boy bolted during the distraction, scampering away with wide-eyed relief, but the others weren’t idle.
Haru recovered first, spinning around to catch Renji who had just turnado’d out of all of them.
He charged at Renji with a yell. "Get off him!"
He tackled Renji from the side, pushing his shoulder into his left midsection.
Renji groaned. That hurt really bad.
The impact drove them both to the gravelly ground in a tangle of limbs.
Pain exploded in Renji’s ribs as Haru’s elbow dug in, followed by Iroha’s boot stomping down on his shoulder, a sharp crack sending jolts through his arm.
Jiro waded in like a juggernaut, his massive fists raining down hammer blows— one glancing off Renji’s head, stars bursting in his vision, another thudding into his back like a sledgehammer.
Renji fought like a cornered animal, twisting free from Haru’s grapple with a savage elbow to the nose—blood spurting as cartilage crunched—then rolling to his feet, only to catch Iroha’s punch square in the jaw, the world tilting.
"You think you’re tough now?" Iroha snarled, following up with a knee to the stomach that winded him.
Jiro grabbed Renji’s arm, wrenching it behind his back with crushing strength, while Haru, wiping blood from his face, delivered a series of sharp kicks to the thighs, buckling his legs.
The gang-up was merciless: fists and feet blurring in a storm of violence, Renji’s blocks fracturing under the onslaught.
A haymaker from Jiro split his lip, blood flooding his mouth; Iroha’s uppercut dazed him, ears ringing.
He landed a few counters—a kick to Haru’s knee that made him yelp, a headbutt to Iroha’s chest—but the numbers overwhelmed, pain blooming everywhere as they pounded him into submission.
Finally, with Renji battered and gasping on the ground, curled protectively, Kaito—still woozy—stumbled over, delivering a weak kick to his side.
"Stay... down... freak."
The group backed off, panting and bruised, Haru spitting blood as they limped away, muttering threats.
"This ain’t over, Kenshiro."
"Fuck! Look at Kaito’s face. We should beat him up more."
They wanted to turn and return to beating him, but then they heard a voice, one of a teacher from the end of the hallway.
"Hey! What is going on here? Oh my!"
They turned around and ran away as fast as they could.
Renji lay there, the metal taste of blood filling his mouth, every breath a fire in his ribs.
The alcove spun, but he pushed himself up, wincing, blood trickling from his lip. ’What the hell just happened?’
He’d demolished Kaito—one-on-one, he’d owned him. But that strength... where had it come from?
The footsteps of the teacher got closer and she squatted beside him, looking down at his face. "Oh my! Are you okay? Hey?"
Renji broke into a mad laugh, his teeth filled with blood. "You should have seen the other guy," he said.
