Their smart core was just a regular auxiliary program, lacking independent consciousness or proactive judgment capabilities. They were essentially a severely downscaled version of the superweapon.
The advantage was their lower material requirements and relatively cheaper manufacturing cost. Anyone could use them, unlike superweapons, which had to be tailor-made for specific users.
Yan Xing generously said to Hibel, "As a welcome gift on your first day, please choose one of these Magic Weapons."
