Then, the village chief took a key from the drawer behind the counter and handed it to the man, "This is the key to that room, everything inside is usable, just a bit dirty. We’ll come up to clean it later."

The man thanked him and after taking their keys, they all left together.

Jiangli watched them as they reached the staircase leading to the connecting passage, aware that there was probably something wrong with that room.

These people were likely assigned a task related to that room.

They didn’t have any special requests and quickly completed the registration, receiving their respective keys.
