Aria pov

As I sat there thinking about everything that was happening, Mary suddenly stared at me like she was hit with an idea. She smiled widely at me before moving closer to me.

She moved closer and whispered in my ear.

"I think we should go down the hallway and just pretend to be going to your locker. I am more than sure we will bump into Timothy and Maya. I want to see how shocked he would be when he sees you."

At first, I did not know that I didn’t even want to be involved in any problem, both looking closely.

I was intimidated and just wanted to see how Timothy would feel. I do not know why the only person I decided to trust betrayed me this way. First, it was Jaxon, and now Timothy. I don’t know who to even trust anymore except for Mary.

I smiled sheepishly at her.

"I think that would be a good idea. Let’s do just that". I mutter to her with a wide smile as she smiles widely back at me.

She understood what I was trying to do, and I could tell she anticipated joining me. She stood up as I followed behind her.

It was a bit empty as I heard loud noises from the local area. I could tell that they were questioning Maya and Timothy like some celebrity, and she would be acting all sick as her companion was acting like a slave and doing everything she wanted, so I just acted as cool as I could be. I walked towards the hallway; I would resume in the hallway.

I could hear Mary squealing with happiness as she could not wait to see what would happen between me and Timothy, but I still acted so calm.

The crowd was a lot! It felt like it was the whole school that gathered around. Jaxon and Rachel were at the doorway as they reluctantly stared at the scene. Jaxon’s gaze fell on mine as he smiled widely at me, but I looked away.

Mary soon separated the crowd as she paved away from me, and I strolled towards the main scene.

Mary, No matter what, would always say the right thing, and this was what she had told me. Timothy would be shocked, but I guess witnessing it myself was amazing. He widened his eyes in so much shock that it almost slipped out. Maya was holding his hands like he was her supporter or like they were dating but staring at me. He unconsciously let go of her hand as he stepped a few meters away from Her, but instead, I smiled at him.

Maya’s gaze soon fell on mine, and her frown was even deeper. She did not seem shocked, but at the same time, she was not happy to see me. She looked at Timothy as she could notice his hesitation but did not say anything. I strolled towards the both of them and smiled at Timothy.

"I guess you were too busy being Maya’s boyfriend to remember you had a best friend who was in the hospital bed," I muttered to him in a tone that Maya could hear very well.

She looked at me in annoyance, clearly at the fact that I was back and I would take Timothy away from her. I did not plan on doing anything so annoying and as evil as that, but if she made me act that way, I would do it with all the grace in me.

Timothy was speechless after what I said, so I just casually walked past him but just took two steps away from them, and he was holding tightly to look at. I looked at him in confusion. Kelly asked him to speak up; we need to talk somewhere private, he muttered, but I rolled my eyes and jacked my hand away from his. I would not let him use the same trick Jaxon used for me, so I walked away. I turned to see Mary looking at him angrily before running after me. I strolled towards the exit, even though I knew Jaxon and Rachel were staring at me just as I was about to walk away.

Just as I was about to walk away, Jaxon grabbed my hand, which surprised me. I turned to him in shock as Rachel was also very shocked. I guess she was not expecting Jaxon to talk to me physically.

His frown soon changed to a wide smile as he spoke boldly and loudly to me.

"After this session. We need to talk maybe during lunch," he said, and I could not help but scoff at his nerve and audacity.

"Why do you want to talk to me?" I asked in shock.

"but you need to be closer to me. After all, you are my sister", he said, and then I noticed the game he was playing.

I moved closer to him, but I was not going to whisper. I needed Rachel to hear what I wanted to say to him.

"Do not act like I am your sister or we are that close in the presence of people, and I know how you act in private. "I muttered to him before walking away. I smiled in satisfaction because I knew I had gotten what I wanted. I had placed doubts in Rachel’s mind about Jaxon. I knew she was head over heels for him, but this doubt would go a long way.

As I walked majestically away. I had so many plans in my mind, so many things I was going to do that would make everything fall into the right place. Just then, Mary tapped me on the shoulder as she smiled widely. "I love the way you bravely place everything in the right order now. Timothy and Jaxon would both be standing on the edge."
