Marvel : I'm in Westview Town-Chapter 111 : Dark Witch Kiss
Chapter 111 - 111 : Dark Witch Kiss
The formation was gradually dissipating, and the entire church was collapsing.
The energy contained within had been completely consumed by the black aura, and its brilliance faded bit by bit, revealing the decayed ruins of the church.
The candlelight flickering overhead was snuffed out in an instant, and the residual force from the black aura finished the job, reducing the structure to nothing more than rubble.
Psst!!
With the formation's protection gone, Larry and the others felt the black aura's corrosive force creeping into their bodies. Their faces twisted in agony, lungs burning as they collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain.
The destruction of the formation unleashed a vicious backlash upon them. Their veins bulged grotesquely, as though a thousand snakes slithered beneath their skin, gnawing and clawing their insides. The echo of ghostly wails reverberated through the remains of the church.
"Aghh!!"
Larry and the others turned deathly pale, their bodies heavy with exhaustion as they struggled to crawl backward. When they lifted their gazes forward, terror swallowed their expressions.
They were powerless. Against those people standing before them, they had no chance. The formation that was supposed to be their trump card had failed.
"Larry... cough... what do we do now?!"
Charles' voice was weak, his face twisted with dread.
The plan had failed. The only option left was to flee, but there was nowhere to run. Carat—she would know their attempt had crumbled. And once she did, there would be no mercy.
Larry remained silent. His eyes, hollow with despair, stared into the abyss of darkness before them. He coughed, his voice hoarse.
"We have no chance."
That single sentence sealed their fate. The rest of the group fell into stunned silence before bitter, broken smiles crept onto their bloodstained faces.
The plan had crumbled. And all that awaited them now was death.
Crunch!!
The last standing door of the church creaked open, revealing an ominous, cavernous blackness beyond. And then—
A figure emerged.
Finn.
Stepping out under the dim, flickering light, his presence alone felt suffocating. His cold gaze locked onto them, and Larry's already grim expression grew darker.
"Carat mentioned you... in his last message to me before he died."
Finn's steps remained unhurried as he approached. His voice was chillingly indifferent, laced with mockery.
"Oh? Since I was mentioned, you still came here to die? Are you stupid or something?"
"Aghh!!"
Larry coughed violently, his body trembling from the pain wracking through him.
"Whoever disrupts the sacrificial ritual... will pay a terrible price for it."
Finn arched a brow.
"Oh? And who was being sacrificed? The Scarlet Witch?"
"You guessed right."
The answer did not come from Larry.
Two voices spoke simultaneously, stepping into the ruined church behind Finn.
Wanda Maximoff. And yet...
There were two of her.
Larry's breath caught in his throat. His pupils shrank in sheer disbelief.
There were two Scarlet Witches.
How could this be possible?!
"What's wrong?"
The darker of the two—her presence exuding raw, twisted chaos—smirked. Her tone was laced with amusement.
"You don't recognize me so soon?"
This version of Wanda—the one tainted by the Darkhold's corruption—moved with a sensual yet predatory grace. The air around her grew denser, suffocating.
"No... no, this is impossible!"
Charles stammered, fear in his wide eyes.
This had to be an illusion. It wasn't real.
"She has pushed Chaos Magic and the Darkhold's power to their very limits..."
Reiss muttered in horror, his voice hollow. Despair pooled in his gut, drowning him.
"She is beyond anything we can handle."
Dark Wanda sauntered closer, tilting her head as her scarlet eyes danced over them.
"You don't look so good."
Her tone was playful, but there was a sick amusement beneath it.
"Stay back!!"
"You're a demon! Stay away from me!!"
"No wonder Carat was taken down so easily... I never expected this!!"
The fear-stricken group scrambled backward, their previous bravado crumbling into pitiful desperation. They couldn't comprehend it—this woman before them, both captivating and terrifying, was a nightmare given form.
From the very start, she had toyed with them. With her power, killing them would have been effortless. Yet she had let them struggle, let them suffer, because she could.
Her magic distorted reality. And now, fused with the corrupting power of the Darkhold, she was more dangerous than ever.
Dark Wanda's expression chilled, the mirth fading from her face. Her voice dropped to a whisper, yet it carried the weight of something immense.
"Threaten to kill me again, and see what happens."
Gulp.
A cold shiver crawled down their spines. Their fear grew unbearable, their battered bodies trembling as if their souls had been laid bare beneath her gaze.
They were certain now—she could erase them with a mere thought.
"For the plan, we need two of them for questioning," Finn finally spoke, his voice cutting through the suffocating tension.
Dark Wanda turned to him, smirking.
"Do whatever you want. If they die, they die."
She shrugged as though they were nothing more than insignificant insects. And in her eyes, they were.
What could they possibly do against her?

Poof!!
The terrified men collapsed to their knees, their spirits utterly broken. They sobbed, desperation spilling from their lips.
"Please, my lady—Mercy! We were deceived! The Nightmare led us astray—we never wanted this!"
"You are beyond us! Please, spare our worthless lives!!"
"We were fools, blinded by promises! Have mercy, great Witch, we beg you!!"
They slammed their foreheads against the cold, hard floor, not even hesitating as their skin split and bled.
They knew. They knew she had no need for mercy. That she could end them without so much as lifting a finger.
"Spare you?"
Dark Wanda's lips curled into a slow, wicked smile.
"Didn't you threaten to kill us before?"
The sweetness in her tone sent chills down their spines.
"No—No! We only acted under Nightmare's orders!"
Larry's voice cracked with panic. The Scarlet Witch before him... She wasn't human. She wasn't mortal.
She was something far worse.
"A bunch of spineless cowards."
Finn watched the scene unfold, exhaling quietly.
Compared to Carat, these fools were pathetic.
His gaze flickered to Dark Wanda. He had to admit—her mere presence was enough to shatter men without lifting a finger.
"Well? Did I do a good job?"
Dark Wanda's gaze met his, a playful glint in her eyes.
"You did well."
Finn nodded before turning to Wanda. "You should take the time to learn from her. It will help you grow."
Wanda nodded, her determination clear.
"I understand."
Dark Wanda's lips curled mischievously as she sauntered closer to Finn.
"I think I deserve a reward, don't you?"
Before he could react—
She pressed her lips against his.
A lingering, deliberate kiss.
By the time he processed what had happened, Dark Wanda had already stepped back, smirking as she wiped her lips. Then, in a swirl of black mist, she vanished into the night.
"...I was caught off guard."
Finn exhaled, rubbing his lips before glancing at Wanda.
"Witch—That was a misunderstanding. I didn't—"
"It's fine."
Wanda's voice was calm.
"I understand. After all, she played a big role today."
Finn blinked. Something about her tone unsettled him.
"...Are you sure?"
Wanda met his gaze, expression unreadable.
"It's fine... Why? Do I seem strange?"
After hearing this, Finn couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.
"You are the weirdest person, right?"
The words did not come out of his mouth.
Still unconvinced, Finn asked the same question over and over again.
"I said I really don't care."
Wanda shook her head and said indifferently.
She seemed to feel that sharing Finn with her darker counterpart wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
At least, in some respects, both versions of herself had the same experiences, the same encounters, and their relationship with Finn had been good from the beginning.
The most important thing was that even Wanda didn't realize how much her thoughts were shifting in a strange, possibly dangerous direction.
"I can see your awareness is very high."
Finn reached out and ruffled Wanda's hair, nodding with satisfaction.
Snap!
Wanda slapped his hand away, glancing at the ground. "Don't waste time. Let's get down to business."
Finn turned and saw that four people were still kneeling on the ground, trembling. He immediately walked over.
"You... don't come any closer! We were wrong! We shouldn't have fought you! Please, spare us!"
"God, we swear we won't do it again! Just let us live!"
When they saw Finn approaching, terror overtook them.
If the Dark Wanda had filled them with fear, then the man before them made their souls tremble.
Faced with their begging, Finn remained unmoved. He raised both hands, a dark, malevolent aura swirling around him, and forced his way into their minds.
AHHHHHH!
The sheer force of Finn's dark magic sent them into convulsions, their faces twisted in agony as they screamed like tortured souls.
"These Apostles should have some connection to the Nightmare Realm."
Finn's eyes narrowed as he dug deeper into their memories, but to his disappointment, there was little useful information.
"You're worthless. Die."
Finn withdrew his energy, then grabbed Larry by the neck, lifting him effortlessly.
Dark magic poured into Larry's body, suffocating him. His eyes bulged, rolling back in their sockets. His face flushed red as he kicked wildly, but it was useless.
CRACK!
Finn twisted his wrist slightly, and Larry's head snapped to the side. He went limp instantly.
"L-Larry is dead!"
"He's a monster! Run!!"
"If I survive this, I never want to see this man again—he's terrifying!"
The others shrieked in terror. If someone as powerful as Larry had been dispatched so effortlessly, what chance did they stand?
They had no strength. No hope.
Before they could process their next move, Charles suddenly found himself lifted off the ground. The suffocating pressure constricted his throat. His wide eyes filled with terror as he clawed desperately at Finn's arm, but his strikes were feeble, ineffective.
HSSK!
His body went limp.
Finn tossed Charles' corpse aside like a piece of garbage, his face betraying nothing but cold indifference.
"Reiss... if we resist, we die. If we don't resist, we die. We might as well fight back!"
One of the surviving dark sorcerers looked at Reiss, gritting his teeth.
"Let's fight! We have to!"
Reiss, shaking from fear and exhaustion, still found the will to stand. With a guttural scream, he and the last dark sorcerer hurled themselves forward, channeling all of their remaining energy into one last attack.
BOOM!
They unleashed two massive energy blasts, glowing silver against the dark night, racing forward like shooting stars.
The sheer force distorted the air, shaking the ground, the speed almost impossible to track.
"Pathetic."
Finn remained unfazed, watching the incoming blasts with a detached expression.
With a flick of his wrist, a dense black aura condensed in his palm, forming into a high-speed beam of concentrated darkness. It shot forward like a bullet, colliding with the incoming attacks.
BOOM! The energy ball was obliterated instantly.
The shockwave ripped through the area, sending debris flying as nearby buildings were shredded into splinters and dust.
Ripples of residual energy spread outward, warping the air like shattered glass.
As the smoke cleared, the two remaining sorcerers stood frozen, their eyes wide with horror.
"Impossible..."
Their last hope had been crushed with such ease.
As despair consumed them, a figure loomed before them, standing like an immovable mountain.
An overwhelming, crushing presence.
"Did you really think you had a chance?" Finn's voice was colder than death itself.
A second later, his hand shot out.
"P-please..."
"I can't breathe!"
Their pleas meant nothing.
Finn squeezed. Their bodies hit the ground, lifeless.
"Let's get out of here."
Before leaving, Finn waved his hand, and a black mist consumed the corpses, erasing all traces of the battle.
—
Outside.
Finn and Wanda stepped out into the night.
Seeing them emerge, Dark Wanda raised an eyebrow and strolled over. "What took you so long?"
She glanced at Wanda, then smirked. "Oh? You're not angry?"
"No."
Wanda shook her head.
"Are you sure?"
Dark Wanda tilted her head slightly, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Because when I kissed him earlier, it felt very soft and warm."
WHACK!
Finn smacked her lightly on the head, frowning. "Can you not say things like that while she's right here?"
Wanda stood motionless, her face unreadable.
"I really don't mind."
Wanda's voice was calm, emotionless.
Dark Wanda's smirk deepened. "I still don't believe you."
"I said I don't mind!" Wanda snapped, clearly growing impatient.
"If you really don't mind..."
Before Wanda could react, Dark Wanda suddenly grabbed Finn by the collar and pulled him into a deep, forceful kiss. Her tongue slid past his lips, exploring aggressively.
Wanda stood frozen, her eyes widening like saucers.
When the kiss finally broke, Finn stood in stunned silence.
Wanda, however, was furious.
"You are so dead!!"
She lunged at her counterpart, rage written all over her face.
Dark Wanda, laughing, dodged gracefully. "Didn't you say you didn't mind?"
Wanda's face turned a dangerous shade of red.
"That was different! You've gone too far!!"
She sprinted after Dark Wanda, her frustration reaching its peak.
"The kitten's angry."
Dark Wanda grinned and bolted.
Finn stood there, watching the two witches chase each other around like lunatics. He touched his lips absentmindedly, his mind replaying the sensation.
Not bad.
