Marvel: I Awake the Little Cosmos-Chapter 587 - 555: The Body That Exists in the Alternative Timeline
Hawk didn’t take the matter of the Eternal Race to heart.
Once again.
The first reason he reclaimed the Eternal Race was the wicked pleasure of seeing Tiam and the Eternal Race standing on his side when the Celestial God Team arrives, and the second was that he needed Ajak as his insider.
But since Ajak is the leader of the Eternal Race, the way to reclaim Ajak was to recruit the entire Eternal Race.
So regardless of what the members of the Eternal Race think, for Hawk, this was merely a minor issue.
Hawk quickly returned to Kamar-Taj and then, in the secret room of the library, met the librarian Wang, whom he hadn’t seen for a week.
Wang came straight to the point.
"Dream Walking, have you heard of it?"
"Of course."
Hawk raised an eyebrow.
Dream Walking, a method that allows one to travel instantly to the Multiverse while remaining in This Cosmos.
Hawk had naturally heard of it.
Not only had he heard of it, but he also knew how to use Dream Walking.
Because this was the method he initially conceived to walk through the Multiverse, the reason for not using it was simple.
Because Dream Walking belonged to the category of Black Magic.
This spell was only recorded in the Dark God Book.
The most important point.
Hawk possessed great power that resided within himself, yet he had no magic.
Not even a bit of it.
He wasn’t a Mage.
He was a Saint Warrior!
"Dream Walking is a spell from the Dark God Book, but I don’t have magic, so I can’t activate Dream Walking."
"No, I’m not talking about Dream Walking."
Wang shook his head and then looked at Hawk, "It’s a magic similar to Dream Walking, Consciousness Ascension!"
Hawk heard this.
"Consciousness Ascension?"
"Yes, Consciousness Ascension."
Wang nodded and then began explaining the magic of ’Consciousness Ascension’ to Hawk.
In a dream, dreaming of a self that is identical yet different in experience, that is the projection of one’s self in the Multiverse.
This is the theoretical foundation of Dream Walking magic recorded in the Dark God Book.
Through dreams, connecting with oneself in the Multiverse, and then controlling that self; as long as another self exists in the Multiverse, one can control their own body.
It doesn’t matter if one dies; as long as they haven’t completely turned to ash, even if dead, they can control the dead self to crawl out of the grave.
And the ’Consciousness Ascension’ Wang spoke of works similarly to ’Dream Walking.’
The difference is that Dream Walking connects to the Multiverse through dreams, while Consciousness Ascension connects through one’s consciousness.
Every self in the dream can be connected through the dream.
Naturally.
The selves with the same consciousness would be on the same channel; simply uploading on one side and downloading on the other.
Compared to Dream Walking, Consciousness Ascension is more clandestine, not triggering the barriers and alerts of the 616 Cosmos.
After all, it’s merely Hawk’s consciousness going over, not Hawk Phoenix, the Main God of Phoenix Cosmos!
Just that there’s a problem here.
After hearing Wang’s method formulated in five days, Hawk stroked his chin, looked at Wang, and his expression was somewhat mysterious: "My consciousness is unique."
Indeed.
The method Wang provided for Consciousness Ascension was excellent but utterly useless to him.
Because he is unique.
Soul unique.
Time unique.
Consciousness unique.
Three uniquenesses in one, my heart is the Celestial Heart, this is the Ninth Sense Hawk pursues.
Therefore, in Marvel’s Main Multiverse, it’s impossible to find his alternate self; otherwise, the Celestial God Team wouldn’t need such a strenuous effort to create a plausible substitute plan for him.
Wang, however, remained earnest.
"No, Hawk, the 616 Cosmos has you."
"It’s me, but a plausible me."
Hawk nodded, looked at Wang: "But if you want me to enter that guy’s body, Wang, I really doubt your stance."
Directly letting him plunge his consciousness into that plausible self?
Goodness gracious.
How is that different from walking into a trap?
If his true self went over, even if it’s a trap, there’s room to resist, but if only his consciousness goes, it’s no better than a sheep entering a tiger’s lair.
Wang shook his head again.
"I’m not talking about that, but your real self."
"My real self?"
The teasing grin vanished from Hawk’s face as he slightly furrowed his brows: "My real self has already been reclaimed by me, there’s no second me in that cosmos."
Wang smiled and said, "Indeed, the Main Space-Time of the 616 Cosmos has no you, but there’s you in the alternate Space-Time, at least, your body remains there."
Hawk raised an eyebrow upon hearing this.
"My body?"
"Yes."
"The body whose soul dispersed after the Mind Gemstone was seized by Thanos in the alternate dimension."
It’s well known.
The self in the 616 Cosmos formed from a fragment of my soul that fell during its confrontation with This Cosmos when the system brought me across dimensions.
However, the self in the 616 Cosmos doesn’t have a system, and through sheer effort, allowed my sister Anya and myself to infiltrate Hydra’s ranks, becoming Hydra agents, and under my plan, successfully obtained the Mind Gemstone and became Vision.
Yet his end mirrored Vision’s original fate, being stripped of the Mind Gemstone by Thanos, leading to his death.
It was at that moment that Hawk traveled back, reclaiming his soul, making it whole, and also took his sister Anya from that cosmos.
As for the alternate dimension Wang mentioned?
"That’s not me, Wang."
"But the consciousness is identical."
Wang said, "The Celestial God Team wants to ’parasitize,’ and for parasitism, they require a soul, therefore they aim to replicate the evolution of the main space-time of the 616 Cosmos, capturing a part of your soul from the past, yet they overlooked a crucial point. The alternate dimension you, although not having your soul, shares your consciousness."
Main Space-Time and alternate dimensions differ only in soul and timeline.
Yet regardless of whether it’s the main space-time or alternate dimension, the consciousness of individuals remains the same.
Long story short.
The alternate dimension’s Hawk, despite not having Hawk’s soul, possesses the same memories as Hawk; both know they’re travelers, but don’t have a system.
Hawk understood Wang’s meaning.
"Are you saying, my body in the 616 alternate dimension hasn’t been destroyed yet?"
"Yes."
Wang nodded: "I’m contacting the alternate dimension’s self, there, after the eruption of the Thanos crisis, Iron Man Tony Stark snapped his fingers, saving the entire cosmos, S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, replaced by an organization called the Sword Bureau, and your body in that dimension is being kept by this Sword Bureau."
Hawk chuckled: "Kept, don’t make it sound nice, it’s being researched."
Wang shrugged: "They’re probably curious about how you’ve fused with the Mind Gemstone."
Hawk shook his head with a smile: "These people always like to research those forces they can’t control."
Who knows how the self in the 616 Cosmos fused with the Mind Gemstone.
Because even he doesn’t know; he only knows at the moment of contact with the Mind Gemstone, as he was about to be melted, Wanda appeared, helping him to fuse with the Mind Gemstone.
After all, Wanda symbolizes the most impossible possibility, which means everything is possible.
As Hawk’s thoughts whirled, he frowned.
"But I’m going to the dimension where the Celestial God Team is, what will I do in the alternate dimension?"
"That dimension is sealed, no direct way in, moreover, if it’s truly as you said, where that dimension’s Stephen chose the Celestial God Team, any misstep will draw his attention, you don’t know Stephen, this guy is sharp."
In his library’s secret room, Wang couldn’t help but complain about Stephen.
As for how to go to the dimension where the Celestial God Team is after visiting the alternate dimension?
"Traveling between cosmoses is rare."
"But interaction between space-times isn’t rare."
Wang said matter-of-factly, then looked at Hawk: "As far as I know, in the 616 Cosmos, no matter the dimension, the Lord of Hell is the same person."
Hawk’s heart stirred upon hearing this: "You mean Old Mo?"
Wang said with seriousness: "If by Old Mo you mean Mephisto, then yes, it’s Mephisto."
Hawk frowned: "I’ve seen Mephistos from other cosmoses, but the only one I appreciate and like is the Mephisto from our cosmos."
After all, Old Mo’s traits were indeed unruly.
The Mephisto of This Cosmos was taught by him for a long time to become the way it is, and the current Old Mo isn’t unruly not because he’s reformed, but because he’s been repeatedly subdued by him, hence he appears to be in a state of abandonment and peace with the world.
But this only applies to This Cosmos’s Mephisto.
As for other cosmoses?
Like the Mutant Cosmos’s Mephisto, tsk tsk, equally unruly, he has no mood to spend time nurturing another Old Mo to his liking.
Wang commented: "Not asking you to deal with him, you forgot, you also possess Hell Dimension, you should know how to use Hell Dimension to shuttle to other dimensions."
Hawk listened, subconsciously looking at Wang.
"Hell Passage?"
"Yes."
"Hiss!"
Hawk listened to Wang’s solution and subconsciously took a deep breath, then stroked his chin: "What about my powers when I get there?"
Wang smiled: "Your powers now aren’t instantaneous?"
Hawk laughed aloud.
Right!
He now possesses the Mutant Cosmos, having already anchored his powers in reality.
Thanks to the Celestial God Team.
His powers can now be projected without delay into any main multiverse universe he wants.
So—
"First to the alternate dimension."
"Then use hell transit to reach the dimension where the Celestial God Team is."
"Then!"
"Start killing!!"
