Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 82: I know you’re scared [Flashback]
He removed the blindfold and her puffy eyes from crying too much didn’t open immediately as it adjusted to the light. His head tilted as his eyes stared intently at her.
She was beautiful, but she wasn’t as beautiful as the other girls, he just had a glanced of them and didn’t even went close to them. He doesn’t know why he was suddenly attracted to this girl but it was what they say...
Love at first sight!
Her vision was a little blurry as she didn’t have her glasses on. She could see but her glasses made her vision clearer due to the eye defect she has.
The person in front of her was a young boy, a really cute one with blonde hair. Was he also kidnapped too?
She asked him the question too and he bit his lips to suppress his laughter. But in between, he loved the way her voice sounded to his ears, like a melodic note. He hasn’t been so mesmerized by a girl before.
"No. I know you’re scared, but you are such a crybaby," he replied and she frowned at him. He scoffed, she looked even more cute to behold.
"Crying wouldn’t do you any good, Miss crybaby. So stop crying, I heard your guardians will come for you and your friends soon," he added.
"My friends? How are they?" she asked.
"They’re fine. Would you like me to bring them to you?" he offered with a small smile and she nodded. His hand reached to wipe her tears but she moved away a little.
"Let me," he requested and began to wipe off her tears as their eyes held each other’s.
"If you were not kidnapped, who are you then?" she asked.
"What is your name?" he asked even though he already knew her name, but he just wanted to hear it from her as he escaped her question.
"Sentencia," she told and he nodded.
"Please don’t cry again, Sentencia. You will be out of here soon, I’ll have your friends brought here to you," he ended.
..."I never saw you again after that moment," Cia began, although Fi did keep to his promise.
"And I couldn’t even ask for your name," she added.
"That was because my father ordered me not to go to the house anymore, the house where you and your friends were being held." Fi replied.
"But that short moment of comfort was what made me to push on till we got out of that place," she smiled at him.
"I thought you would be mad at me. My group were still the ones who put you and your friends in that situation in the first place," he stated.
"I’m not mad," she replied.
"It’s really funny how I forgot about you and didn’t recognize you. I just had a feeling that you looked familiar, I can’t believe myself. I forgot the friend that comforted me at that moment when all hope seemed to be lost," she continued and he just smiled at her.
He could have never forgotten the face of the woman...the girl, that made his heart flutter at first sight. He has had a crush on her since then, but due to the life he led, he never considered looking for her until fate brought them together again.
Now, his feelings for her were growing uncontrollably the more she was with him.
"I think that’s yours," her voice brought him back to earth from the world of thoughts he was so immersed in just now.
It was from Bree.
"Hello," he uttered as he picked up the call. His expression slowly drops as he listened to what the person from the other line told.
"Okay. I’ll be there asap," Fi ended the call.
"What’s wrong?" Cia asked.
"It’s my dad, he had a heart attack," Fi informed.
"?!"
...
Silvia was going to pay Davian a surprise visit at work today. She grinned from ear to ear like a cheshire cat as she entered the elevator and pushed the floor 3D was on the building.
Her hands were filled with lots of plastic bags. Today she is the cook while he is the taster. She chuckled at the thought, she decided to just make it lunch. She had slyly asked when he usually takes his lunch breaks at work.
He wouldn’t be expecting her but she also just hopes she doesn’t miss him as he might eat out.
She walked towards the place once the elevator opened.
Everyone was a little surprised to see Silvia. They greeted her though and she returned the greetings.
"Is he in?" she smiled expectantly.
"Yes," Sarah was the one who answered. Silvia nodded and walked away to Davian’s office, it’s just been hours since she last saw him but she couldn’t wait to see him.
"Am I the only one who has noticed the changes in Silvia Reyes?" Lucas voiced.
"Yeah she is so different now. It’s as if she is a totally different person," Sarah laughed.
"So is love really capable of changing someone?" Sarah continued dreamily.
"So different how?" Becca frowned. To her, Silvia is still the same proud and overbearing spoilt brat.
But mostly, the reason why she might lose Davian.
"She is more free to be around with. I guess love can change a person," Sarah responded. The newbies in the office were already out for their lunch break.
"Tell me about it, It makes you feel like you’re in heaven," Lucas stared dreamily at Sarah.
"I’m still not going to go out with you!" Sarah responded and Lucas pouted.
"But man, I can’t still believe Silvia actually fell for our man Davian. I guess I was wrong after all. This? Their feelings for each other? Changes everything and I’m so happy for them," Ray was the one who spoke this time.
Becca’s hands clenched on the papers she was holding. Their mindless talks were just aggravating her rage and hate for Silvia.
Was she really going to lose Davian to her without a fight?
Davian was so flabbergasted when Silvia walked into his office. His face light up with a smile.
"Hey," he stood up and hugged her. She couldn’t hug him back because her hands were full but she returned his kiss when he kissed her.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Is it a crime to visit my husband at work?" she responded.
"Not at all, princess. I’m just surprised," he replied.
"Well, as you can see..." she trails off as she brought the plastic bags closer into view. "I brought you lunch," 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"Wow, thanks. I’m starving," he uttered and she chuckled.
They moved to a couch in the office, in front of it was a table and Silvia arranged all the meals.
"Wow these all look yummy," Davian acknowledged as he sits down on the couch. He tapped on his laps as he smiled at Silvia, gesturing her to sit on his laps which she did as she returned his smile.
Davian was about to start with one of the meals but she held his hand, "Wait," she said.
"Why?" he asked and she sighed, she was nervous what he would think.
"I’m nervous," she voiced, what if she did bad? But she did tasted what she cooked and it wasn’t really that bad to her.
He laughed, "You don’t have to be, I’ll eat your food whether it’s too salty or too spicy,"
"I hope the water is close by though," he joked and they laughed.
He began with one of the meals, it was five in numbers and Silvia stared at him in anticipation.
"What do you think?" she asked.
"It’s fine," he replied but stopped eating it.
"Please be honest, it will make me get better," she requested.
"Okay. It’s a little bit too salty," he said sincerely.
"Oh," she voiced, disappointed.
"Don’t be sad, let me try the other," he tried to cheer her up. He tasted it and drank a whole glass of water.
"I love spicy food but that was extreme," he said and she felt like crying though she smiled.
"Not enough salt," he commented on another meal.
"What’s wrong?" she asked him when he wanted to eat another of the meals but halted.
"It...smells funny," he replied and didn’t even taste it. Well she did ask him to be honest.
"Hmm," he glanced at her as he tasted the last one. "This is going to be my lunch, it’s delicious,"
She smiled, at least he liked one of the meals she prepared. She could tell he did because he finished it.
"Thank you for this, Silvia," he appreciated, he knew she must have put a lot of effort into this.
"Thank you too for being honest," she replied.
Meanwhile, Fi and Sentencia just arrived at the Lee’s mansion. Cia had insisted on following him, she was on duty but had no appointments anyway so she decided to just follow Fi to check on his father.
"Is he going to be fine?" Fi asked. They were in his father’s room and his father laid on the bed unconscious. She just checked on him.
"He is fine, for now. I can tell how weak his heart is becoming, he will need to undergo a heart transplant at some point which means going to the hospital regardless of what you told me, Fi," he had already explained what happened to his dad last time and because of it, they had to prefer home treatment.
Though the public doesn’t know or suspect if they were part of a syndicate group or the mafia- but they weren’t just part but the leaders of the entire mob, their enemies do know their identities.
"I understand." Fi nodded. Let that time take care of itself when it comes.
"I’ll do it. I’ll be you both personal doctor," Cia suddenly said.
"Are you sure?" he asked, he himself wasn’t sure.
Everyday he battled within himself whether to let her go for her own safety or be selfish and have her.
Sentencia knew what Silvia told her, what his father told her, she remembers clearly, it rings in her head every time but it was as if after finding out he was the boy from that day, her emotional attachment to him which she never knew existed, just grew deeper.
"Yes." she responded.
"Can I have a word with you?" Bree spoke up once Fi was out of the room as Caleb had asked for a word with him.
"Sure," Cia replied.
"Who are you to Fi?" she asked.
"Pardon me," Cia responded.
"Who is Fi to you?!" she continued.
"?!"
