Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 58: Living hell
"Nothing, but...I’ve thought about it and..." Silvia trails off, avoiding eye contact with him.
"What happened yesterday, should never happen again. It will be better if we stick to the contract and all the conditions as agreed," she added.
There was silence.
"Is it because of my confession?" he asked, breaking the silence.
"It’s...part of it but...The contract is the main reason why we’re here in the first place, so let’s stick to our previous agreement," she replied.
"Okay, I understand." he said, his hand went to her chin bringing it upwards so that their eyes could meet.
"When I signed that contract, I never expected to fall in love with you but I did. I’m torned between getting over my feelings or pleading with you to just let me love you, you don’t have to love me back." he expressed.
"But I’ll respect your decision," he added standing up. He walked towards the dressing room and opened the door.
He walked in and came out soon with his luggage and other belongings.
"Fortunately, I haven’t unpacked yet...less work for me," he chuckled even in this situation.
"I’ll just be in the other room," he added. That’s right, how could she have forgotten? One of her conditions was for them to sleep in separate rooms.
"Enjoy your breakfast," he said and walked out of the room shutting the door.
’This was best,’ she thought.
For him and for her.

Someone knocked on the door of Cia’s office. Her head lifted upwards from the medical files she was buried in.
"Come in," she said and the door opened.
One of the hospital’s security men walked in, a bouquet of flowers in his arms.
"A delivery man brought this in doctor Sentencia," the man informed.
Cia stood up; "Really? Did he say who it’s from?" she asked.
"No," he replied.
She helped him put it down on her table.
"Thank you," she said, dismissing him. She started to search the bouquet once the security man was gone.
She found a note. She opened it and read it out loud.
"Flowers to beautify your office at least, don’t reject this gift this time, it’s not much like the last,"
There was no name at the end of the note but she smiled already knowing it was from Fi. But wait a minute...
How did he know she was working at White bridge hospital?
A black limo was parked below, facing her office and Fi could clearly see all her expressions as she stood close to the glass walls.
She was surprised at first, then she smiled appreciating the gift, then all of a sudden her happy expression changed into a questioning one as she must be wondering how he found out her place of work, he has his ways.
Plus, ever since that day he has made time to always check on her from afar because he never approaches her. He must look and sound like a crazy stalker.
But he can’t help but be a pathetic stalker for her, he wants to spend more time with her but he doesn’t want to put her in danger. Last thing he wants is for her to be marked and used against him by his enemies.
"We’ve spent too much time here, Fi," Caleb informed.
"Okay, let’s go," Fi replied reluctantly. He hasn’t gotten tired of watching her, he could even watch her all day if he had the chance.
The limo began to drive out of the hospital. Caleb sighed, was there something he was missing? How can his boss be so willing to put their safety in danger all because he wants to see that woman?
"Fi, tell me, did I miss something? How can you be so endeared to that woman? Is it love at first sight?" Caleb asked and Fi smiled.
"Yes," he said dreamily as he remembered when they first met.
"When we first met," he added.
"Are you trying to say that that night wasn’t the first time you encountered her?" Caleb asked and Fi nodded.
"Wow, what a coincidence," he added.
"When did you guys first meet?" Caleb continued.
"A long time ago, we were still teens then, she doesn’t remember me anymore," Fi replied.
"Well, you could remind her," Caleb suggested.
"No, I don’t want to. The memory... it’s not too pleasant, I would prefer if she remembered me herself," Fi responded.
"Not too pleasant?" Caleb repeated.
"How did you guys meet?" he asked.
"I seriously don’t want to talk about it today Caleb. I’m tired," Fi replied shutting his eyes as he ignored Caleb, escaping the question.

The Shipmans and the Yuls were gathered at the Yuls’ mansion as both families were having dinner together, familiarizing themselves because they were soon to be in laws.
Olivia, Leo, Colleen and Gabriel were quiet throughout the whole dinner. Axel and their parents did most of the talkings.
Olivia focused on her food, avoiding eye contact with every one but mostly because Gabriel Yul’s taunting gaze was just focused on her althrough the dinner.
"Not like it’s something to be rushed but I’d really love the wedding to be quick," Helen said.
"Yes, no engagement party. Let’s just go straight to planning and preparing for the wedding," Philip Shipman agreed.
"Yes, dad. What’s your take Olivia?" Axel asked.
"Uh, me?" Olivia almost stammered, removing her attention from her meals.
’No me!’ Axel raged inside of him. Leo didn’t miss the little tension between the siblings due to Axel’s intimidating nature.
"Uhm, yes...I agree. A court wedding will do," Olivia responded.
"A court wedding yes!" Axel beamed.
"What do you think, Leo?" Axel asked, he didn’t even hide his mischievous grin from Leo. Leo glanced calmly at him, he didn’t respond nor react to Axel’s behaviors. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"It’s okay. A wedding is a wedding, whether at the church, at the mosque, at the court or beach, as long as they are wedded. We’ll have a grand reception after the wedding, it will be spectacular," Helen intervened. She was so happy and didn’t want anything to ruin the atmosphere.
It was as if she was the happiest about the wedding, even happier than the engaged couple.
"I’ll like to use the restroom," Olivia excused herself. "Where is it by the way?" she added.
"I’ll take you there." Colleen volunteered.
Olivia was a little bit on her toes, she wasn’t too comfortable with Colleen Yul and Colleen didn’t try to hide her hate for her. Why was she offering to take her to the restroom?
Olivia just nodded and so, Colleen stood up from the dining table and led the way towards one of the restrooms.
"Just a minute," Colleen stopped Olivia as she attempted to enter the restroom immediately they got there.
"Yes," Olivia replied. Colleen moved closer to her, she stared at her from head to toe.
"You really have some guts," Colleen started.
’I knew it,’ Olivia thought. Colleen would never have escorted her if she didn’t wanted something, and that was to downgrade her.
"You seduced my brother into sleeping with you and not only that, you deceived him with some damn pills and what huh?
"Got pregnant so that you can reap where you didn’t sow. Like a leech, a disgusting parasite. You and your family-"
"I’ll have to stop you there. You are angry, fine. You want to fight for your brother’s last strands of dignity with me, fine. But don’t you dare insult my family," Olivia interrupts Colleen and Colleen responded with a slap.
"You really have some guts. After what you did! You still have the audacity to stand for that crook family of yours in front of me. Now you listen..." Colleen trailed off, a sadistic grin on her pretty face.
"I’ll make your life a living hell, you cheap tramp. You will regret ever marrying into the Yul family," she continued and started walking away.
"Hope you know your way back," Colleen added.
Olivia stood there not entering the restroom until Colleen disappeared completely out of sight. Olivia entered into the restroom, she glanced at her reflection in the mirror. Colleen’s voice echoed in her mind.
’I’ll make your life a living hell,’
She sighed, as if Leo’s despise for her wasn’t enough.
After some while, Olivia came out of the restroom. She walked away towards the dining room in thoughts.
She was so deep in thoughts that she didn’t know when she stumbled into a pair of hard chiseled chest.
It jolted her out of her thoughts as she try to regain her balance, she looked upwards to see who had blocked her way because it was obvious that the person had done it purposely.
It was Gabriel Yul.
’What the hell!’ she thought.
Does she really have to deal with all the Yul siblings? What does this man want from her?
She was apprehensive of the man, she wasn’t let out on the details that this man could be responsible for Davian’s kidnap. She considers him a very dangerous man.
"Ms. Olivia," he smirked at her, trying to close the distance between them but she moved further away from him.
It only made his smirk to deepen more into a sardonic grin.
