Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 122: Here to stay
"H-Here to stay?" Olivia couldn’t believe her ears. She just couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
Leonard walked in, he had been in his study. "Hi Leo," Colleen greeted with a broad smile, as she hugs her brother.
"Colleen is going to live with us for a short while. Our parents had planned to go on a vacation after our mom’s birthday yesterday and Colleen can’t possibly live alone in the mansion," Leo explained, after breaking the hug.
’What is she? A child?’ Olivia thought.
"So she will be staying with us till my parents return," Leo added.
"Okay, you don’t have to explain. It’s your house and I don’t care," Olivia responded and walked back upstairs.
"How rude," Colleen snarled at Olivia.
"Settle in Colleen. The butler will take it from here," Leo told and walked upstairs.
"What was the meaning of that, Olivia?" Leo fumed when he got to their room.
"Is that the way you welcome my sister?" he added.
Olivia who had been sitting on the bed, stood up as she responded; "How am I supposed to welcome her? After she humiliated me yesterday and didn’t even care to apologize,"
"(Scoffs) You are finally showing your true colors, I knew all it. I knew that all you had been doing was all an act," he mentioned.
"Believe what you want, I don’t care," she commented and wanted to walk out of the room but he grabbed her wrist and pinned her to the wall.
"Ah..." she had responded, her other hand went to her stomach- Which was still a little bit on the flat side as the belly bump wasn’t that vivid yet.
His eyes went to her hand on her stomach and then back up to her eyes.
’Sorry,’ echoed in his head but he didn’t say it out loud. Instead, he just let go of her wrist and walked out of the room.
Olivia sat back on the bed. Why did Colleen have to come here? She couldn’t live in the mansion alone, couldn’t she stay with a friend? Or in a hotel? Or better still, rent a condo.
Why did she just have to come here? But of course, the answer was simple and clear.
...To make her life miserable.

{Hello, I’m at the foot bridge} Oscar smiled when he heard Silvia’s sweet voice from the other side.
He spotted her almost immediately, "Over here," he announced and she too caught sight of him.
They both hanged up as she started to approach him.
"Hey," he smiled at her.
"Hi," she replied.
"So..." she started, crossing her hands across her bosoms.
"What was so important you wanted to meet up so badly?" she continued.
"Nothing really. I just wanted to talk, just needed someone to talk to. You see, i will be leaving pretty soon," he replied.
Oh...
They started walking.
"Do you...love your husband?" he asked suddenly after some while of walking in silence.
Silvia glanced at him before she turned away, a smile on her lips, "Of course I do. Very much actually,"
"Hmm. I wish I was your husband," he stated and she laughed.
"Seriously, he is such a lucky man to have you. I did confess my feelings to you Silvia, back then in college. Why didn’t you accept? Aren’t i handsome enough? Or is something probably wrong with me?" Oscar questioned.
"Nothing is wrong with you Oscar. I just didn’t feel the same way," Silvia responded.
"Ouch! Those words still hurts till now," he replied and she chuckled.
"I wished you had said yes. Maybe I would have became your husband now," he continued and she chuckled once again.
"Don’t be silly, stop making stupid wishes that are never going to come through," she told.
"I wish they would," he responded as they stopped walking and stood by the railings.
His eyes just fixated on her, hers stared into the skies- Her hands on the railings and the wind blew gently on her long jet black hair.
She turned to face him and saw as he leaned in for a kiss, she moved away.
"Married remember," she waved her hand, which had her rings on it, at him. He forced a smile and nodded, leaning away.
He can’t believe how he was still so in love with this woman after all these years. It must be the reason he finds it hard to be with anyone else, but she was now taken.
When he was coming to Asteria, he really didn’t expect that he would see her again- He really has to move on. The earlier he does, the better for him.
"Let me guess, you were with Oscar again," Davian pointed out once Silvia had returned home. It was weekend.
"It was just for a few minutes, you are making it sound as if I am cheating on you," Silvia responded.
"C’mon Silvia, look at the man. One glance and you can tell he is infatuated with you," Davian stated.
"I know that, he had confessed his feelings to me back then in college but I didn’t accept his feelings because I didn’t feel the same way. I thought he would be over his feelings by now," Silvia replied.
"What do you mean by that Silvia?" Davian asked and that was when Silvia realized what she had said in her last few words.
"It’s nothing," Silvia answered.
"Nothing?" he responded.
"Don’t you trust me?" she questioned.
"I do. It’s the look in that man’s eyes that I don’t trust," he replied and she just shook her head.
"Okay. Then tell me, since you have been meeting up with him, has he not once attempted to kiss you?" Davian questioned. But Silvia was silent because it was true, it had happened today.
Davian scoffed.
"Well, it’s not like I let him kiss me. Unlike you," Silvia uttered.
"So that’s what this is about? Are you trying to get even with me? And you think now is the right time for it? I know I must have become a huge burden to you but-"
"What? No! Of course not. What are you saying?" Silvia interrupted and walked closer to him. She squatted in front of him.
"Why would you think that way? Firstly, I’m not trying to get even with you. Secondly, you are not a burden to me. I love you whether you can’t walk temporarily or not.
"It’s for better, for worse, in sickness and in health. Never get such thoughts Davian and I’m sorry if I’m responsible for making you feel that way," Silvia expressed.
Davian didn’t respond.
"If this is about Oscar, we are really just friends and he will be leaving soon. You have nothing to worry about," Silvia continued.
"You know, putting it all in that way just makes it worser and like... like I’m some insecure freak!" he finally responded and started to control the automated chair away.
Silvia stood up, how else was she supposed to have put it? Ever since the accident, Davian was gradually changing.
It was as if he was easily overreacting and becoming paranoid and over sensitive. Well, could she blame him? He just lost his mother, he was still grieving, he has to go through the experience of not being able to walk.
She can’t possibly imagine all that, what he must be going through? And maybe she was just adding to his emotional load instead of helping him.

Olivia and Colleen sat on the dining table as they ate dinner. Leo didn’t join them as he was busy with work at his study. To be honest, Olivia didn’t really want to have dinner with Colleen, she didn’t feel safe having dinner with Colleen.
She wanted to skip it but she knew it will be bad for the baby and having her food brought upstairs would make it so clear that she really wasn’t on good terms with Colleen.
It’s been a couple of days since Colleen moved in with them. Olivia’s joy was that she always leave to the bookstore every morning, because Colleen wouldn’t miss every opportunity to ridicule her.
Plus Colleen also goes to work so fortunately, they rarely crossed paths.
"Hmm, Leo didn’t join us. You know, it’s all because of you," Colleen began.
"It’s not my fault he is a workaholic, i don’t own his appetite. Maybe he didn’t have any appetite to eat," Olivia responded.
"(Scoffs) Of course it’s your fault, just the sight of you makes him want to gag. I agree with him, I feel like gagging as well," Colleen continued and she brought her glass of water to her lips.
She sipped from it.
"Let me help you," she offered when Olivia was about to get the jug of water.
Olivia felt so suspicious about it and her suspicions were correct because instead of helping Olivia and pouring some water into Olivia’s glass.
Colleen used it as an opportunity and she knocked the jug of water towards Olivia, bathing Olivia’s lower body with the water from the jug. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Oops, sorry. My bad," Colleen feigned innocence. She stood up and attempted to leave but Olivia stood up as well and in the next second, a hot slap was heard in the room.
Olivia had slapped Colleen.
Colleen held her cheek, her eyes glared at Olivia. She couldn’t believe Olivia was capable of doing what she had just done- Slapping her.
