Chapter 166: Old love memories 2

Darren jumped out of bed, his face expressionless. "How in the world did you get in here?" In disbelief, he inquired.

"How else? I entered through the door." She laughed and handed him the beer bottle.

"What exactly is..." Darren inquired slowly.

"I know you forgot to get her a gift, but you can give her this." Lianna laughed and dashed towards the door, opening it gently and running out so as not to wake Sage.

Darren examined the bottle of beer, which appeared to be a standard beer.

"How did she find out?" He shook his head in frustration. "I completely forgot." He uttered a low groan.

.

Sage, Katherine, and Darren were laughing and drinking directly from the bottles in front of the fire place at night.

"I have a gift for my beautiful Sage," Katherine laughed loudly and cleared her throat. She then gave Sage a blue pearl bracelet, which she gladly accepted and wore.

"Thank you very much! It’s stunning!" She exclaimed excitedly. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"I wish you a very happy birthday." Katherine smiled at Sage, who returned her smile.

"And now for mine." As Darren handed Sage the bottle of beer, he cleared his throat.

When Katherine saw the bottle of beer, she frowned, while Sage, feigning a smile, reluctantly accepted the terrible gift and opened it right away.

"I appreciate it." She sniffed, her heart pounding, and wondered why her lover would give her a bottle of beer for her birthday.

"I really appreciate it!" She exclaimed dramatically and drank the beer as if it were water.

"Sage!" Katherine screamed, and Darren stared in disbelief.

"Sage, stop!" Katherine yelled angrily and took the bottle from her.

"No! Return it to me!" Sage yelled and got to his feet.

"You shouldn’t drink that way." Katherine chastised.

"I have complete freedom to do whatever I want! After all, it is my birthday!" Sage screamed and groaned in agony as her head became heavy.

Noticing her face squeezed in pain, Katherine exclaimed, dropped the bottle, and dashed to Sage, clutching her tightly.

"Sage! Sage! Are you all right?" Katherine inquired, concerned.

Darren stood up and looked around, realizing something was wrong. "Sage!"

"In my head." Sage groaned and passed out immediately.

"Sage!" Katherine screamed in terror.

"Sage!" Darren exclaimed, stunned.

"What was in that?" Katherine confronted him.

"I... it’s only beer!" Darren yelled.

Katherine frowned as she carried Sage to the bed and gently placed her on it. "Have the best birthday ever." She muttered as she wrapped the blanket around Sage and glared at her.

"I have a curfew, so stick around with her for a while." Katherine told Darren, who nodded slowly and exited the room.

Darren walked over to the bed and sat down, covering himself with the same blanket. He pressed his face against Sage’s, and she stank of alcohol.

He exhaled a deep sigh.

"It’s your special day." He murmured, and she groaned, slowly opening her eyes.

"There are six of you, Darren." She groaned and laughed as she yanked his hair. "How come there are six of you?" She asked, puzzled, then licked her lips, which triggered Darren.

He was sorry for laying on the bed in the first place, but seeing how seductive she looked while drunk, he just wanted her right there.

He grabbed her arm and crashed his lips against hers, aggressively kissing her. Darren lost it the moment Sage moaned and grabbed her strap and untied it.

Sage understood the situation the moment he held her dress strap, despite the fact that she couldn’t see what was going on due to her blurred vision.

"D.. Darren... Stop." She stuttered as she tried to break the kiss.

Darren ignored her and parted her dress, revealing her bra and those milky white bosoms.

Sage’s shaky hands tried to push him away, but it was futile. He grabbed her hands and pinned her to the bed when she tried to stand up.

"Sage, just let me have you," He spoke hungrily and kissed her on the lips, but Sage saw him as a threat this time.

She didn’t want what was going on! She wasn’t expecting it!

"Please! Stop! Please, Darren!" She pleaded, tears streaming down her cheeks as she struggled.

"You stop!" Darren yelled angrily, broke the kiss, and slapped her hard.

"Wha.." She tried to respond, but he slapped her again, causing her to whimper in pain.

Sage gasped in surprise, covered her sore cheek, and turned away from him, her tear-filled eyes widening in surprise.

As her entire world crumbled into nothingness, it felt like a nightmare.

It had to be a nightmare, but the pain on her cheeks was all too real. It felt very real.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she turned her gaze to him, only to see him staring at her while struggling to catch his breath. His eyes were filled with regret, while hers were filled with pain and disbelief.

"I..."

"Get the hell out." Sage spoke in hushed tones.

"Sa.."

"GET OUT!" Sage screamed, and he jumped off her, falling off the bed to the ground.

He stood up, tears streaming down his cheeks as he saw how enraged she appeared as she wrapped the blanket around her body.

"I apologize! I got the beer from your aunt!" He yelled.

"Did she tell you to ràpe me?!" Sage screamed, her eyes turned fiery red.

"Sage please! I love you! I am sorry!" He begged.

Sage scoffed. "You have officially turned deaf but you should hear this. I will not hesitate to burn you until you turn into nothing! Not even your ashes shall remain!" Sage screamed and Darren immediately ran out of the room, closing the door harshly behind him.

Sage rubbed her affected, wet cheeks and cried her heart out that night.

She kept wondering what went wrong.

She felt betrayed, broken, hurt but she still ended up forgiving him and rejected all the past memories that revolved around them.

"You never told Katherine." Darren whispered.

"Neither.." She paused with a sniff. "Did you."

Darren sighed deeply and looked away.

Sage let out a shaky and breath and just as she was about to look at him, she felt a tug her coat.

She looked at the nine tailed fox on her laps who was pulling her coat’s with his mouth. He looked cute but she could notice something off with him which made her wonder how strong was the connection between him and Cyrus.

Snowflake stopped pulling her coat’s arm and maintained eye contact with her. Her eyes narrowed in confusion while those silver reptile like eyes peered into hers until a frown was visible on his face and his eyes flashed in their blue slit form.

Sage’s eyes widened. "Cyrus?!" She exclaimed with whisper covering her mouth with her hand as the nine tailed fox curled himself into a ball and closed his eyes.
