A few months ago...

With a smile on her face, Lia was at the cafeteria of the airport the country where she had arrived, holding her spoon in her about to dig into her food, she had her iPad in front of her watching a movie.

She couldn’t help but chuckle at what she was watching.

Lia was expecting someone already after all she was the only one she had told about her arrival.

Patiently waiting for the person to arrive she had some time in taking a look at her wristwatch.

It was about time the woman arrived.

She continued to watch her movie, she was endorsed in the movie she couldn’t realize the person she was waiting for had arrived.

Noticing Lia’s seat, Britney walked up to the table and then she sat on the chair opposite her chair.

"Ma’am welcome to the country," Britney said cheerfully in a smile to surprise Lia as Lia who was watching the movie raised her head with a stunned look on her face.

"Oh my Gawd, Britney," she said as she stood up from the chair and then she hugged Britney.

She was the one she had been expecting and now, she had a wild smile seeing her.

After hugging her, Lia released herself to take a look at her.

"Oh my, it has been years Lia and you look prettier than before."

"Oh really, I think is the glow of the care the children are giving me," Britney stated as the two couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Oh my, Britney you’re still funny after all," she raised her hand to clean the dirt on her eyebrow.

"Lia, I think we should be heading home now, I’m sure the kids would be anticipating your return."

"Me too, I miss them so much but then I can’t help but feel sympathy after what had happened, I can’t help but feel regret about what happened."

" You know, every time I think about it I can’t help but feel really sad about that topic because Prudence was just a bright girl, she was fearless and tended making of make her enemies know their place but at last, I was shocked when I discovered what had happened to her. " Lia added.

" I also felt disheartened and sad, I felt hurt. "

" Is probably time for the whole family to be at the house, we should be heading home now."

" Okay, " Britney got Lia’s package carried into the car and then both Lia and Britney were on their way home.

As they were driven to the house, Britney took a stop since she was going to do some groceries for the house, so as not to disturb Lia’s journey to the house, they had a car that was booked at the station for Lia’s pickup.

"So this’ the place we’ll have to take a stop," Britney stated as she took a look at the booked vehicle for Lia’s transport.

Britney helped her get her loads transferred to the other car with the help of the driver of the booked car and then Lia moved out of the car Britney came in to pick her up to move to the other car but then she was stopped by a woman who was selling masks.

"Would you buy masks?" She walked towards Britney who had sympathy for the woman who looked as though she had been working for hours to finally get what she wanted as a earning for her job.

The basket of the packaged mask was still full.

But then the woman who was supposed to be a woman who had that hardworking spirit and had been working for hours was actually one of Britney’s men who had disgusted herself with a shabby look to gain what she wanted.

When Britney reached out to take one she tried convincing Britney to take another.

Lia who saw the action of Britney couldn’t help but stop wondering what was Britney’s sympathetic attitude about.

It was just a woman who was going to find someone else who was going to buy her product one way or the other but because of Britney’s selfless sympathy for the woman, she was only going to lose money from her own part.

"What are you going to use it for?" Lia questioned after the trade was made and the woman had left.

"You know what, I want to use this as a gift for you, a gift from me, Lia. I’m sure the family will be shocked and you don’t get this every time but then I want to give you this gift, consider it as a welcome gift from a friend who has missed you for so many years, okay?" She said with a smile handing it over to Lia.

Lia took it as her eyes scanned the piece like it might have some spot which was going to be contagious for her if she was to wear the product but after a clear search and was fine with it, she raised her head to take a look at Britney and then she smiled.

"Okay then, if you say so, thank you for your gift," Lia got inside the car placing the mask in one of her bags and then she entered the car taking a ride to the house.

Britney looked at her for a while, it was mission accomplished, it was just the first set of her mission and she was already gaining what she wanted.

Shockingly, Britney discovered that she was released from the boundary of Enim’s men, and all of a sudden she was left all alone in her hospital room getting treatment.

She knew that there must be something wrong.

Why would Enim try to leave her all of a sudden? 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

As much as she wanted to accept the fact that Enim must have had the thoughts of leaving her after collecting what she wanted which was not of good use, she decided to get rid of her.

She also shook in fear that Enim was only trying to use the method to get her life.

But what she didn’t expect was what she was hearing, two of the nurses walked into the room to give treatment to Britney, and because she wanted to conceal the fact that she had awoken, she laid back on her bed pretending to be asleep.

The nurses walked into the room and then gave Britney a brief checkup, after they were done with it, they detected that she was already okay and in perfect condition.

It must have been the time for her to gain consciousness.

So not to waste the time that was left of them to accomplish what Enim wanted, they began to speak to revoke Britney’s curiosity about what was happening.

"Did you hear about what had happened? I heard Vixen’s fiancee got admitted into the hospital a few days ago because of what had happened."

"What do you mean by what had happened?"

"About the accident, don’t tell me you don’t know about it?"

"What accident?"

"Vixen is trying to cover up the secret about what happened, a few days ago, Enim got involved in an accident which narrowly cost her life, she was on the verge of losing it but then Doctor Mark was able to revive her life. The funniest thing about the matter was that once she was awake, Vixen had the police investigate the matter and what was discovered about the issue was that the cause of her death was someone whom I’m sure Vixen feared, he had this shrouding look on his face when she explained to the cops who she had seen and who caused the accident."

"So who might it be?"

"Hmmm, I think she goes by the name Prudence as I could remember. I wonder who she may be but then Vixen had that disturbed look. "

Britney who was eavesdropping on their conversation coughed nearly losing her breath when she heard the name.

Did she hear it right?

What?

How was that possible?

Maybe the nurse got it confused, forgetting that she was in an acting stage so she wouldn’t be discovered, the nurses took notice of what had happened and then turned to Britney with a concerned expression on their faces as they walked towards her to see if she was alright.

They were thankful that they were able to get their job completed.

During a medical checkup on Britney, she was in good condition.

Britney suspected the nurses, what was their reason for stating their words?

Prudence has died and she was someone who could testify to that and now she was hearing about Prudence being alive.

If she asked about what they were talking about then it was going to seem like she was conscious when she was supposed to be unconscious at that time.

She was frightened at their statement, could it really be possible, was Prudence alive?
