Married to my nemesis-Chapter 238: Oops, wrong - ...
"Did you say something, ma’am?" Abi heard John say, she raised her head to look at him and then she mildly shook her head.
"No, I just thought," she murmured but then blinked her lashes in realization.
"I can’t believe that happened. So have you tried doing anything?" Abi questioned; John shook his head sadly.
"I tried my best but at the moment, from where this situation started from and where is heading. It’ll be very difficult for us to decide whether Mr. Vixen would be free."
"What are you talking?"
"When I went to the court to try gain a bail for Vixen, he was rejecting bail."
"How is that possible, I thought you had the best techniques there was."
"Ma, I want you to see this from the way I’m about to elaborate. Mr. Vixen just not work with people from the state, he’s an international worker, and now once you commit an offence that involves the international organizations of this world. How do you expect me to gain power to release Mr. Vixen."
"Wait, which organization?"
"The IMF, they are the one who’s after Mr. Vixen."
Abi grew stunned, she was unable to speak as she grew speechless, she shook her head in denial.
"So, you’re telling me that whoever did it is from the IMF, or the organization was the one behind it."
"Well, ma’am according to my research the two are right. Miss Abigail Camino and IMF are both working hand in hand to make sure Vixen goes to jail. I can only hope that all my means retrying to release Vixen from jail works out."
"But then, is there any other solution we can think about? There shouldn’t be just a complete one way, right?"
"Well ma’am if we want to save Mr. Vixen the only solution is that if Miss Abigail retracts her complaint and IMF also retain from jailing Vixen, just then I’ll be able to try my best to save him."
Abi forced a smile, her hands on the skin of her laps as she anxiously rubbed it, whatever she was going to do she had to do it quick. She’d promised Arthur she’ll try her best to get Vixen out of jail and now it’s only wise if she finds a way to bring his out of detention even if it meant she had to deal with the IMF herself.
"I think I’ll try my best to save Vixen. I don’t know but I’ll just try my best."
"Okay, ma’am."

Abi walked back and forth as she tried to call someone’s number for a while she was feeling so anxious but then she couldn’t help but admit the truth. Whoever that had pretended to be her just caused trouble and she was ready to deal with whoever that may be.
After what that took like a long while for the receiver of the phone call could pick, she heard who she’d been waiting patiently for speak.
"So, what have I done to hold such call from you today, sis," a mocking tone came from the other side of the call as Abi’s eyes darkened.
"You know what you did, Sebastian. What crime did you put up against Vixen?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Is really going to be stupid of you if you behave innocent with what you did. You laid a complaint against Vixen and yet still at that you got the video of Vixen killing Matthew viral on the internet."
"Oh wow, now that explains why this fiery lioness would call me casually."
"Sebastian, I promise you that if you don’t open your lips then I’m going to- "
’What? Kill me? You can’t do anything, Abi, and for you best information before you start accusing people om the internet you would have to first research what is true so your judgement would be according to facts and not presumptions. Besides, I could blame you for too for being responsible for what happened to Vixen. After all, after I did my research, I discovered thar the person who is actually responsible for laying the complaint against Vixen was Abigail Camino. Perhaps that name sounds familiar to you?"
"Sebastian would you just shut up?" Abi violently voiced as Sebastian chuckled. Interested in her harsh attitude and then he responded.
"Do you know one thing about you? You love to rival, and from what you just did today proves how much you can take yourself to the end grave just because of a man."
"Sebastian!"
"Hey sis, I really would admire it if you don’t shout my name. I didn’t say you were the one that laid the complaint but then you’re one top of your voice like as if I did so. I’m just saying what I know. Prove that was confirmed to my research."
"I didn’t do it what don’t you understand?"
"Frankly speaking, I too could have reacted the same way you’re doing the moment you accused me of laying down such complaint against Vixen. I wouldn’t lie, I despise everyone that has to do with you and Matthew. But what I’m doing? I’m trying to fix the mistake both you and Matt

Presenting the shopping bag towards Sydney, she stared at the bag for a while, staring at it like she was considering her choice and then she finally spoke after it took like a sweat of Kelvin’s before, she spoke.
"Yeah, you can leave the bag on the table," Sydney mentioned casually. Kelvin smiled a bit, followed her instruction and then left the room for Sydney as she stared at the screen in the meeting room.
She heaved a deep breath, raised her hand and then massaged her aching temples gently applying it on her temples.
Why was she feeling so worried about whatever was going to happen, and this plan, why didn’t she feel like there was more to the story than what she thought. Probably she was not going to like what was coming for her.
She stared at the phone on the table, her mind moving back and forth trying to decide if she should do what she was thinking of she should let it go. Just after a few minutes of thinking, she drew the phone from the table also holding the handle of her bag as she stood up walking out of the company.
A few minutes later, she was at the garage of the company having her phone next to her ear since she made a phone call. She swiftly entered her car after opening the door and then she placed her bag on the passenger seat next to her seat and then placed her phone on its stand in the car. The phone automatically connected to the car’s screen and then it revealed Jordan was the caller.
A chuckle released from Jordan on the other side of the phone once it got answered, she held the wheel of the car consciously driving carefully once she got into the car park.
"How are you doing?" Jordan questioned still having the phone next to him but then Sydney could hear laughter come from the background.
"Instead tell me how my daughter is doing," Sydney harshly replied.
’Well, you just have to guess for yourself." Jordan scornfully stated, Sydney waited for a while listening to the background and from that moment, she was sure that Anna was happy where she was. She thought of telling Jordan about what Kelvin, but she remembered her promise to Kelvin.
"Why does it feel like you’re doing something out of the obvious," Sydney voiced out, she heard Jordan have a chuckle.
"You really think I’m going to do something to your daughter? How fun is that thought of yours?"
"I just don’t feel so, I know so. And you should know one thing, I’m just hoping you been around with Anna doesn’t mean you could give my daughter false and cruel information about me."
"What? Me? Is that what you really think of me?"
"You can’t blame me for having thoughts. After all you gave me a present that was given to you by your fiancée." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Oh, about that one. You wrong about what you’ve just said."
"What do you mean?"
"I know I gave you the gift Samantha gave me but then I only did that because I wanted Anna to receive that present."
Sydney placed a frown on her face feeling astonished and then she said, "In which world would you give a gift that was given to you by your fiancée to someone else, and a child for that matter."
"Well, the present was given to me by someone and giving it to something shouldn’t bother you, should it?"
’Okay then, why couldn’t you have given the bag to Anna since you’re with her."
"Oh my, how bad. How could I have been so gullible not to realize the facts. You know what, thanks for informing me but for your information you must know that the package was with Kelvin all along. Besides, I was given the opportunity to go out with Anna, it was unpredicted. So common, how is that possible smarty pants?"
"Whatever," Sydney mumbled.
"Besides, come to think of it. The number I used to call you before was my office number, how were you able to gain my personal phone number? Also, Kelvin is the only one who has my personal phone number at the office and if he had given you my phone number he would have told me, but he didn’t. so common, tell me."
Hearing his speculations, Sydney subconsciously gripped unto the wheel of the car, she stepped on the brake before she regained her senses.
"Did something happen?" Jordan questioned concern the moment he heard the screeching tires.
Sydney gulped her saliva, fluttering her lashes in disturb, she turned her gaze to the screen of the car system realizing he was still on the call. She adjusted herself as she removed the strands of her hair that scattered on her face due to the recent events.
Then she finally regained her voice; "Jordan, I’m just moving out of the company, and I really like it if you don’t be a jester about the matter. I need to concentrate on the road." Sydney spoke calmly.
Jordan was about to speak when she intervened; "You know what, I think is better if I end this conversation now because you’re being a distraction."
"But-"Jordan was about to speak when Sydney hastily ended the call and then she heaved a deep breath holding tightly on the wheels of the case, he shot her eyes trying to regain her senses and put a composed countenance on before she begins with anything.
After her short meditation, she began to drive once again as she focused on the road, but then surprisingly while she was driving, a ground came passing her by. Seeing the car come, she turned her gaze to look through the window noticing it was Kelvin, seated at the backseat of his car while his driver drove his car.
While she looked at him, her gaze turned her phone seeing a message that came in, Kelvin questioned her about if she was ready to leave or not. In the next second, instead of replying to the message, Sydney pressed the button for the horn of the car informing him she was ready to leave.
