They children came out if their classes in excitement at the sight of their parents, it was closing hour school hour, the parents came in front of the class they were asked to stay till one of the parents arrives.

Arthur daze through the class regardless of the approach from his friend as his eyes focused on the door to like he was waiting for someone who was very important.

When it took a bit longer, Arthur began to play with some of his classmates but just like the rest, their parents arrived and then they slowly departed to their respective homes till he was left alone.

All in the class, Arthur had a sad look on his father, he expected someone to come pick him up, even if it was his Nanny feeling lonely all alone in the class.

He sat on a bench, his head lowered as he gazed at his legs which were kicking through the air, a sad expression on his face, he felt a bit hardened and angry inwardly.

At times, he raised his head hearing the foot step of someone pass through the door but it was the school cleaners.

Soon enough, his teacher came surprised to see he was the only one in the room.

She tried calling his father but there was no reply from Vixen.

He didn’t answer the call.

"Arthur, did you tell your father the time he’s supposed to arrive?" His teaches questioned concerned as she crouched a bit to take a look at him, a concern look on her face as Arthur nodded sadly.

"But he isn’t answering my calls."

"His father is busy, wouldn’t you give the chance for his mother to come pick him instead?" They heard a feminine sharp turned as they both turned their gazes to the door.

Arthur’s sad look lightened as he stood up from his seat and in a short race, he ran to hug her legs.

"Mummy," he said as he hugged her tightly placing his cheeks on her skin.

She chuckled as she placed her arms around him, she crouched a bit to hug him properly giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"I’m so sorry for the delay, I had some work to do and I discovered that my baby boy must be waiting for me at his school for so long. I came as soon as I found out," she said as she pinched his cheek and he nodded like an obedient mum.

"You’re forgiven, Mummy," Abigail turned her gaze to Arthur’s teacher who had a frown on her face hearing from Arthur.

She knew she must be confused.

"I’m so sorry, I came late to pick him. Thank you so much for considering to call his father, despite the fact he’s rich, there are some things his father does that are so funny. But now, his mother is here to fix it."

The teacher’s eyebrows furrowed.

"Ma’am," she said as she stood.

"Are you trying to say that you’re Mr. Joe’s wife?"

She nodded with a smile.

"You can call me Abigail but if you want, you can call me Abi, Miss. Abi, " she said as she stretched her hand clearly seeing a frown on her face.

" I’m Arthur’s new mum now, his father and I , " she placed a hand on her mouth to shield it from Arthur’s gaze so he wouldn’t recognize her words as she whispered.

" Are getting married. "

" Oh, " his teacher nodded.

" I shouldn’t bother you two, I’m sure Arthur here must be desperate in going home, " his teacher said as Arthur raised his head to meet Abi’s gaze, a clear gaze of excitement was seen on his face as he glimmered with joy.

" Yeah, we should leave now," Abi said as she held Arthur’s bag taking him out of the huge building of the school.

"I think you would need this," she said as she took shades from her bag handing one to Arthur.

Arthur stopped as he allowed Abi wear the glasses and then he placed a smile on.

"That’s just right, you look like a handsome guy in this look, we’ll be able to slay beauty," she said with a chuckle.

Arthur gave a thumbs up with a smile.

"I know, you like it, just like I do," he nodded as Abi chuckled.

This was the first time she had ever been with a child and she knew nothing about how she was going to take care of a child.

Taking care of some random boy just to make money for the money which was lost and start her own business once again.

She was wondering what was wrong with her that made her accept this offer, but on the bright side, she could make great money from this.

She wore her shades and then she raised her hand for a high-five.

Arthur excitedly clasped his hand with hers.

"Let’s go," she took her key pressing the button which made the doors ready for it to open.

She held Arthur’s hand walking hand in hand like mother and child, once they reached her jeep, she opened a door for Arthur of the passenger’s seat and then she collected his bag so he could sit properly.

She made sure to secure his seatbelt and then she went to the driver’s seat.

She started the car and soon it was silence, Abi wondered what she was going to do because the silence was killing her, when she checked the rear view mirror to see what Arthur was doing, his gaze outside the window.

She knew she had to make Arthur happy after all that was part of the agreement she had with Vixen.

"Arthur," she called his attention.

"Did anything special happen in class today."

She said as she gave glimpse of the rear view mirror for the passenger’s seat on the car’s system.

She could see he was a bit shy in talking to her, when she met Arthur, he didn’t talk that much, she was beginning to wonder if this little child was an introvert.

"Hmm," he said with a small stammer.

"You know what, maybe we should stop," she said as she stepped on the breaks and then she released her belt placing an arm on the shoulder of the chair as she turned behind so she could see him from the front.

"Let’s go something that makes you have fun."

"What’s that?" He said a bit.

"Something that would make this little guy smile, maybe, something like an arcade?" She said and then she slowly saw Arthur grin revealing his two window teeth at his premolars on the left side.

"Would you want to go with me?"

"Yes, Mummy."

"Oh my, you’re so delighted about this, as daddy ever taken you out on something like this?"

He shook his head as Abi pouted her lips.

"Your father must be a lot boring, isn’t he?"

"Mummy, daddy is just as fun as you are."

"I wished I could believe that—" she murmured.

"Okay then, do you want to keep a secret with me?"

Arthur nodded.

Abi came behind the car seat moving to the passenger’s seat, she unbuckled the seatbelt and then she pressed a button at the side of the chair, just as she did that the chairs in front of the car laid down, the windows became more illuminating bringing out tiny spot lights from the edges of the window panel and then the front side of the car, projected a big screen.

Abi placed her hand under Arthur’s seat, placing her hand of the drawer under his seat so it could push out some instruments.

Just as the drawer came out, it was a gaming pad.

"Our little secret," she said as she handed Arthur one.

Arthur was amazed, his father was one of the richest man in the country but he had never had this fun before, playing games with the best woman in the world and in a cool invention.

The two played till their hearts were content, Arthur was actually good in playing video games, his father hasn’t given him a phone since he wanted him to concentrate on his studies but his mother was someone different.

If Vixen got to know what if mother was doing then, there is going to be an interesting topic to talk about in the house.

They both played games and when Arthur and Abi arrived it was pass his arrival time, actually two hours late it was becoming evening.

"Where are you two coming from?" A sharp voice in a cold tone came from his father as dead gaze landed on Abi like she was planning some conspiracy.

Abi chuckled.

" You know what, why are you stressful, both I and Arthur had some time together and we had so much fun and made conversations with one another. "

Vixen with a straightforward attitude raised his hand to check the time on his watch.

" Arthur is supposed to be doing his assignment by this time, next time I expect you come earlier than before, " Abi rolled her eyes, she wondered if Vixen knew if he knows he’s behaving like a typical Dad.
