"Are you the one that made the reservation?" Lucas questioned as Mia frowned her face.

"Of course, I was the one, who else did you expect it to be?"

"I thought I had another client, your name wasn’t seen on the booking."

"So who did you expect, well, I’ll be the one to represent the person, eventually the person is a close relative of mine, something unexpected happened so without any other choice, she asked me to do this, and yes, this doesn’t involve your accusation. "

He teasingly questioned but Mia gave him a sharp look.

"I don’t think so, I think my fate started being unfortunate when you ended up being a part of my life, and besides, I didn’t ask you to catch me."

"Okay then," he stated releasing his hands from her waist, and there, she fell with a thud and a growl.

"Did I ask you to drop me?"

"I thought you did."

" Well, that didn’t mean you should actually do it, " Lowering his upper body to be aligned with her gaze, he shook his head.

" You should know for someone like you, Miss Mia, you can be a lot confusing at times, you say strange words."

He stated and then purposefully drew his leg across her towards the door of the room.

Mia scorned out of disbelief, he couldn’t even help her from the ground.

She stood up heading out of the room, she was about to scold him but he placed his finger on his lips turning to her.

"Miss, you have to be silent, remember that we’re at a hospital, you have to get dressed in a medical coat, just to protect yourself, I mean to protect the bodies from getting contaminated."

" Really? I’m not going to get myself dressed-" she was cut short as Lucas pulled her into a room, before she could talk, he left her hand just to be unexpectedly sprayed gas which was used to remove the micro toxins on her skin and then, some nurses came in with medical robes and then Mia had her hair scattered feeling the net that was placed on her hair.

"If you feel scared Miss then you are allowed to get a grip on me, after all, you don’t get that from other places. "

Mia scorned.

" You’re funny. "

" Okay then, " they walked towards the elevator which was in front of the room they passed, and then silence engulfed the area, the place was too silent for Mia’s liking, she felt it was kind of unspectacular.

When she turned to look at Lucas, he had that expression like he had become a zombie.

Okay, she didn’t come to the place just to get the spooky vibe of a haunted house, after a while which felt like a long journey, the elevator door was opened.

Getting into the place, the place wasn’t as spooky as she thought, just a row-like locker which was a freezer with the bodies in the freezer.

They walked towards Prudence’s number and then he opened the cabinet pulling her body and then it was Prudence’s body which lay on the stretcher, Mia took her phone took photos, and then sent them to Britney.

"Are you confirmed now?" She messaged Britney placing her phone in her pocket.

"Okay, thank you, now we can leave."

"Why did you take photos of her?"

"I’m not the one who’s supposed to come, I had to send it to the one who was supposed to come."

"Okay," Lucas placed the body back in its place and then they were moving out of the place.

Mia folded her arms taking her step one by one.

"You said I should grip on to you, why may that be?"

"Nothing," Lucas casually stated as they entered the elevator, Mia couldn’t help but shake her head at his attitude, he was only trying to create that tension within her for no reason.

They stayed for a while after Lucas had pressed the button for the top floor, as they headed, the lights in the elevator unexpectedly off.

Mia shook in fear as she held onto Lucas, what was the meaning of this?

"Why? Why did the lights turn off?" She questioned in a stuttered tone, eventually her mind was filled with thoughts of dangerous things that could happen.

"It’s emergency shutdown, it seems they are getting the elevator repaired."

"Repaired?!" She yelled.

"You knew they were getting the elevator repaired and despite the fact, you still allow me to come into the elevator? What? What do you think you’re doing?"

She scolded him but without any expression of fear on his face, Lucas reached for the elevator button and then he pressed the alert button which informed the engineer they were in the elevator.

"So, so, how many minutes are we going to use to spend in this place?"

"I don’t know, it depends on the minute they would have to use for the repairing."

"What a crazy guy you are, you didn’t tell me that something like this was going to happen and yet out of your remarks you’re trying to get me killed!!"

Lucas turned to her, how he wished that she tended to see his expression.

"You know what, you’re such a buzzy head, you speak too much and tend to annoy someone just like a bee, buzz, that’s how you are," Lucas stated.

"Really? Wait and see what type of review I give for this hospital, you’ll eventually get fired for your foolishness."

"Sorry to disappoint miss but you can’t get me fired, I’m the son of the owner of this hospital so how are you going to get me fired?"

" Oh my phone, " she took her phone and tried to get a call through, when she had no response, she looked at her phone.

" There’s no signal," she stated out of realization checking to see if the signal was blocked.

" I don’t think you would be able to get through, the signal towards this area was cut off."

" Really? Why the hell would you decide to get the signal cut off? "

" Well as you can see there is nobody who comes here often so, what’s the use of wifi in this route? "

" You must be joking, " she turned on the lights purposefully placing the light of her phone on his face.

" Oh wow, this is the face that has never seemed to do nothing but disappoint me, you look so evil in the dark, have you ever tried making a glow in the dark? " she stated purposefully pointing the light on his face.

Lucas held her hand turning the phone around so it could reflect on her face.

" And here’s the face of the person who always annoys and makes my life a hell. "

" Hey stop that," she stated as she turned around to obstruct the ray of light.

" Aren’t you satisfied with this? You tried to shine the light on my face, why can’t you get satisfied with your own karma?"

" Hey stop it," she obstructed the view using her hand and after a while, he took the phone and then he turned off the light.

" Just stay silent for the meantime we’ll be away from this place in some moment, I just need you to stop talking, your voice alone irritates me I feel like I might go out of here with a headache," Lucas accused as she turned to him giving him a sharp look.

Almost the entire nation drools and prays to get a touch of her hand but here he was calling her disgusting.
