Married to My Ex-Fiancé's Cousin-Chapter 766: Last Night Was My Fault_1
She knocked on the door. After a while, the door opened from inside. Qi Cheng saw her with an indifferent expression. "What are you here for?"
He acted as if she was someone irrelevant to him.
It seemed he was really angry!
Sigh—
Ji Yunhuan sighed inwardly, lifted the clothes in her hand, and said in a placating manner, "I knew you didn’t bring any clothes, so I came to bring you some."
Qi Cheng’s response remained cold, "I already called someone to bring me clothes. They will be delivered soon. I don’t need you."
Ji Yunhuan handed the clothes to him, "Are you really angry? I already apologized to you. Isn’t that enough?"
"Is your apology sincere?" Qi Cheng raised his eyebrows, looking indifferent, completely unaware that Ji Yunhuan was sincerely apologizing to him.
In her eyes, there was only someone else! Only her son!
Ji Yunhuan saw that Qi Cheng didn’t take the clothes she brought. She walked into the hotel room with the clothes and looked around, marveling, "Wow, you stayed in this room just to spite me, right? This room is amazing!"
"..." Qi Cheng felt his temples throbbing as she twisted the situation. "Ji Yunhuan, don’t change the subject!"
Was this woman really trying to piss him off?
Besides, this room was just differently furnished from the one downstairs. In terms of quality, the one downstairs was better. It had the best view!
All along, no matter what he did, he always gave her the best. Yet she had no sense of it at all?
Ji Yunhuan placed Qi Cheng’s clothes on the bed. "Just put these on! I brought them from home. The new clothes you had someone buy for you may not suit your taste."
"They’re just clothes. What’s the difference?" He curled his lips disdainfully.
Ji Yunhuan laughed softly, "Are you serious? If it’s the same, then I won’t bother picking clothes for you in the future."
Qi Cheng: "..."
Ji Yunhuan saw him silent, knowing he was unwilling.
She walked up to him, "Please don’t be mad, alright? Mr. Qi, Mr. Qi Sr., I was wrong last night, okay?"
"Where were you wrong?" He looked at her.
"I shouldn’t have ignored your text." Although Ji Yunhuan didn’t really think she was wrong, she had to bow her head to appease him.
Qi Cheng snorted disdainfully at Ji Yunhuan’s words, "You still don’t understand where you were wrong!"
"Oh? Then where was I wrong?"
He reached out to wrap his arm around her waist, intending to give her a punishing kiss. Ji Yunhuan blocked him and said, "I haven’t brushed my teeth."
"..."
"I’ll brush my teeth and come back." She had actually brushed her teeth, but once things got intimate with him, he couldn’t stop.
Plus, she was a little hungry because they had dinner early last night.
She knew Qi Cheng’s habits, so she didn’t want to indulge him now.
Qi Cheng watched Ji Yunhuan leave the room, his hand frozen in mid-air.
He recalled that it was quite early when she got up this morning. If she hadn’t brushed her teeth, it meant she came looking for him right after waking up?
That thought made Qi Cheng feel somewhat better.
He looked at the clothes Ji Yunhuan had placed on the bed and put them on.
Whenever he wore the clothes Ji Yunhuan prepared for him, he always felt much more handsome.
After changing into the clothes, Qi Cheng went downstairs and discovered that Ji Yunhuan wasn’t brushing her teeth. Instead, she was helping Yangyang and Ruirui with their clothes.
"..."
He walked up behind her and looked at her coolly, "Finished brushing?"
Ji Yunhuan raised her head, concerned as she looked at Qi Cheng. "Yes! I was just getting the kids ready for breakfast. Are you hungry?"
"..." Qi Cheng didn’t really feel hungry. He and Qi Mo had eaten something late last night.
The family went downstairs to the restaurant where Luo Sha and Qi Mo were already present.
Qi Mo looked at Luo Sha and said, "Did you sleep with Aunt last night?"
"Yes." Luo Sha nodded.
"No wonder I couldn’t find you in your room."
"Were you looking for me?"
Qi Mo’s ears turned a bit red, "No."
"..." Luo Sha gazed at him curiously with her big eyes.
Qi Mo was actually just worried that she might feel uncomfortable in this new place. He wanted to check on her, but...
Luo Sha had disappeared by nighttime.
Qi Mo was somewhat depressed. Since arriving here, Luo Sha had been particularly close to Ji Yunhuan, not him.
It was clear that he should have been Luo Sha’s backbone!
Ji Yunhuan was unaware that she had become Qi Mo’s imaginary rival. Just as she sat down, she noticed Qi Mo’s cold stare.
"What’s wrong with Qi Mo?" Ji Yunhuan asked curiously.
Qi Mo threw her a disdainful look and stayed silent.
Ji Yunhuan was puzzled, "Leilei, did you fight with your brother again?"
Leilei was eating when she heard the question. She looked up at Qi Mo innocently, "No! How would I dare to fight with him? If I fought with him, he’d definitely hit me!"
"No way! Qi Mo hits you?" Luo Sha felt sorry for Qi Mo’s gentle sister because Leilei looked so cute.
"He really does..." Taking advantage of the moment, Leilei quickly complained to Luo Sha.
Before she finished, Qi Mo had already pulled her by the hair to the side, "Stop talking nonsense!"
"See, you’re bullying me now!" Leilei said indignantly.
While the siblings were bickering, Ji Yunhuan’s attention was on Yangyang.
The calmest person in the room was Yangyang, who was quietly eating the breakfast served by a waiter.
No matter what, Ji Yunhuan’s anxiety over Yangyang never lessened.
She was too scared that her son would remain silent forever.
Qi Cheng ate his food gracefully, largely ignoring Ji Yunhuan.
He was furious with her today and didn’t feel like placating her!
After all, in this woman’s eyes, he simply didn’t exist.
The weather was nice. After breakfast, Qi Cheng took them hiking. The last time they were here, only Ji Yunhuan and Qi Cheng came.
Coming back here, Ji Yunhuan realized how quickly time had passed.
Back then, it was just her and Qi Cheng. Their feelings were unstable. Now, there were two sons and a happy family.
While descending the mountain, Qi Cheng carried Ruirui on his back. Ji Yunhuan could feel that he was still upset about what had happened last night because he had barely spoken to her all day.
With the kids around, she couldn’t say much, planning to patch things up with him later.
But when they returned to the hotel and Ji Yunhuan had just settled the kids into their room, she discovered that Qi Cheng had disappeared.
"Qi Mo." Qi Mo walked past in the hallway, and Ji Yunhuan called out to him.
"Aunt?"
Ji Yunhuan asked, "Have you seen your uncle?"
Qi Mo looked puzzled, "He’s your man. You’re asking me?"
