"HYUNG-NIM, are you still upset with me?"

Sohee overreacted earlier when Go Gunjoon called him fat.

Yes, his half-brother was a bit tacky on that part.

However, he shouldn’t have been upset since it was true that he gained weight.

And I gained weight because I’m pregnant, so there’s nothing to be upset about.

"You should be thankful that the food you brought was good," Sohee teased his brother. "But, honestly, I’m okay now. Sorry for being upset earlier."

His mood had already improved after having a hearty lunch with the kids earlier.

Sohee kind of got sleepy after being full, so he sat on the sofa to rest.

That was when Go Gunjoon followed him and talked to him in private.

Kim Hanhae and Kim Haewon probably knew that they needed privacy, so the twins said they were just going to buy ice cream in the convenience store.

Those kids are quick-witted.

"You don’t have to apologize, Hyung-nim," Go Gunjoon said while scratching his cheek as if he were shy. "I was tacky. I’m really sorry about that, Hyung-nim. I’ll be extra careful from now on."

"That’s good."

"Hyung-nim."

"Yes?"

"Does our mother know that you’re pregnant?"

"No, she doesn’t," Sohee said while shaking his head. "To be honest, I don’t feel the need to tell your mother that I’m pregnant. I decided that I don’t want her to be a part of my child’s life. And I don’t think your mother would be interested in her grandchildren either."

He had already closed the Chapter of his life with his mother.

And he had no intention of opening it again.

If my own mother isn’t interested in me, then I don’t expect her to be interested in my children.

"Well, some people say that grandmothers have a soft spot for their grandchildren regardless of their relationship with their own children. So, there’s a chance that your mother might be interested in my kids," Sohee said carefully. "Even so, I don’t feel the need to make her a part of my children’s lives. Frankly speaking, there’s a chance that my children might be Omegas because I am one. I don’t want to know your mother’s reaction if that happens."

"Oh, I see," Go Gunjoon said, lowering his head. "I understand, Hyung-nim."

"Did I sound like I’m talking badly about your mother? I’m sorry about that."

"You don’t have to apologize, Hyung-nim," Go Gunjoon said, and then he turned to him. "Just because Eomma is a good mother to me doesn’t mean she was a good mother to you. So, I can’t expect you to see my mother the way I see her."

Aww.

Sohee smiled and ruffled Go Gunjoon’s hair affectionately. "It’s up to you whether you want to tell your mother that I’m pregnant or not. But if you choose to tell her, can you please wait until I give birth to my babies safely?"

"I’ll keep that in mind, Hyung-nim."

"Thank you."

"Hyung-nim, why did you tell me about your pregnancy?"

"Because you’re my brother," Sohee said, laughing softly at Go Gunjoon’s shocked reaction. "I don’t see my mother being a good grandmother to my children, but I see you being a good uncle to my babies. Am I right, Uncle Gunjoon?"

Go Gunjoon was left speechless for a moment, and then he suddenly burst out crying. "Hyung-nim, can I hug you?"

A BABY SHOWER!

The idea of throwing Park Sohee a baby shower entered Hong Sera’s mind when she walked past a baby boutique.

She was in the department store owned by her family, and she was supposed to meet Cho Euntak at their favorite dessert shop there. But he got distracted when she saw the cute baby clothes displayed in the store.

Come to think of it, Park Sohee didn’t want to know the genders of his babies yet.

We can throw him a gender reveal party, too!

"Mommy!"

Hong Sera almost dropped the iced coffee in her hand when a little girl suddenly hugged her leg.

When she looked down, an adorable toddler looked up at her with big, doe eyes.

"How cute," Hong Sera gushed. "Hello, baby."

The little girl grinned and pointed at her. "You’re my mommy because you’re pretty!"

Pfft.

Hong Sera squatted down after the little girl finally let go of her leg. "Baby girl, did you get lost? This unnie will help you find your guardian."

"You’re not my unnie," the little girl said, pouting. "You’re my mommy!"

Oh, no.

Hong Sera panicked when the little girl looked like she was about to cry.

However...

"Seowon-ah!"

Hmm?

Hong Sera raised her head at the same time the little girl did.

"Daddy!"

Oh.

The little girl’s daddy turned out to be a handsome, tall, and slightly nerdy-looking man.

Hong Sera tilted her head while looking at the man wearing thick glasses.

He looks familiar, though?

CHO EUNTAK was running late.

But he couldn’t leave because Jeong Hyerin, Baek Jeho’s girlfriend, kind of "caught" him at the entrance of the department store.

And now she doesn’t want to let me go.

"Can you stop dragging me in your drama?"

Cho Euntak knitted his eyebrows, confused. "I’m sorry, but I don’t understand..."

"If you and Baek Jeho have mutual feelings, why don’t you start dating each other already?" Jeong Hyerin complained. "I feel like Baek Jeho is just using me as an excuse to deny his feelings for you."

"Baek Jeho is straight."

"And pigs could fly."

Cho Euntak was confused as hell.

If Baek Jeho has feelings for me, then why the hell did he keep on dating girls instead of just confessing to me?!

SOHEE was about to take a nap in his room after sending off the kids who visited him, but he got interrupted when he got a call from Kim Heedo.

Of course, he picked it up almost immediately.

"Hyung, have you eaten lunch?"

"Yeah, I ate with the kids earlier."

"Why do you sound sad, Hyung?"

Sohee wasn’t really sad.

He must have sounded that way because he was sleepy.

Even so, he didn’t correct his husband.

He had something he wanted to ask anyway.

"Have I gained too much weight, Heedo-ya?"

Sohee was just teasing Kim Heedo, so he found it funny when his husband obviously panicked.

"H-Huh?"

"Be honest— I’m fat now. Am I not?"

Kim Heedo fell silent.

Sohee, on the other hand, was looking forward to his husband’s response.

And he didn’t get disappointed.

"Sohee Hyung, even if you gained weight, that just means there’s more of you for me to love."

Sohee actually had to cover his mouth with his hand while kicking his feet.

Kim Heedo’s answer was sweet, after all.

But he still wanted to tease his husband.

"So, I really became fat."

Once again, Sohee waited for Kim Heedo’s response.

Thankfully, his husband didn’t disappoint this time as well.

"Hyung, I’ll get fat with you! I’ll eat a lot, gain weight, and become bigger than you so you’d feel small next to me! I’ll work hard, promise!"

Sohee couldn’t help but laugh out loud this time.
