Married For Now-Chapter 130: ACTION FILM?
Chapter 130: ACTION FILM?
PARAGLIDING.
That random Wednesday morning, Kim Heedo found himself in Danyang-gun.
It was one of the most perfect spots in the county for paragliding.
Heedo didn’t go paragliding with Jang Aejung because he wanted to do some recreational adventure sport with her, but he enjoyed the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, rivers, and the beautiful landscape of Danyang.
I’ll bring Sohee Hyung here next time. Paragliding isn’t an extreme sport, and I’ll be by his side to make sure he’ll be safe.
For now, he had to go there alone to talk to his "target."
"When I asked you to go paragliding with me, I didn’t expect you to agree so easily," Jang Aejung said teasingly. "Have you recently discovered your love for recreational adventure sport?"
Haaah.
President Jang is still as chatty as usual.
Jang Aejung was an active woman in her mid-forties, a little younger than Heedo’s parents who were already in their early fifties.
She doesn’t have her own child yet, and it doesn’t seem like she wants to have one.
Anyway, Jang Aejung was the president of one of Jusik Food Industrial Company’s affiliates.
She’s not ambitious— she gave up her family’s succession war early.
It was hard for the youngest daughter of a chaebol family to compete with her older brothers, after all.
Especially since President Jang’s brothers are a lot older than her.
"Should we go skydiving next time, Heedo-ya?"
Heedo lifted his head and faced Jang Aejung properly.
After the two of them went paragliding, they decided to have lunch in a restaurant famous for its delicious garlic tteok-galbi.
Danyang is famous for its garlic, so this dish is a must-try. freewēbnoveℓ.com
Aside from the food, that restaurant was also famous for its breathtaking view.
That was why Jang Aejung reserved the window seat with a view of the mountains and the river.
I really should have brought Sohee Hyung here.
"President Jang, you know I’m not here to share your hobby with you," Heedo said politely. "I’m here to inform you that I will have your stepson expelled from his school."
Jang Aejung chuckled. "What did that boy do this time?"
"Drug distribution, and then he framed an innocent student to take the blame."
"How are you related to this "innocent" student?"
"He’s my husband’s half-brother, so that makes him my brother-in-law."
"Oh," Jang Aejung said, her eyes suddenly sparkling. "I did hear that Chairman Kim’s oldest grandson got married recently. So, it was true."
"Yes, ma’am. The wedding was solemn. Only our family attended the ceremony."
"It’s late, but congratulations on your marriage," Jang Aejung said, and then she smiled slyly. "Would you like my stepson’s neck as a wedding gift?"
"I’d be grateful if you let me punish your stepson, ma’am."
"Did you think I would protect that boy?"
"Well, he’s still your stepson."
"I’m sure you already did your homework, so I’m assuming you found that I’m already separated from my husband."
"Yes, ma’am."
"The reason for our separation is because of Kang Woong," Jang Aejung said while shaking her head. "I tried to be a good mother and discipline him the moment I found out that he was a bully at his previous school. But my husband got mad at me and told me to leave his son alone. Apparently, "Alphas will be Alphas.""
Heedo frowned at that.
This is why Alphas have a bad name.
"My marriage with my husband was an arranged marriage and we had a business-like relationship. But I wanted to be a proper mother to Kang Woong, at least," Jang Aejung said, sighing while shaking her head. "But that boy hates me. He was always hostile to me, especially when his father wasn’t around. Worse, he looks down on me because I’m a Beta."
Haaah.
Most Alphas really act worse than animals.
"So, do what you need to do, Heedo-ya," Jang Aejung said, her usual bubbly façade slipping away as she turned serious. "This is not me giving up on Kang Woong. I simply believe that boy needs to face real consequences for his horrible actions in order to grow. If his father can’t discipline his own son, then he shouldn’t be surprised if other people do that for him. As long as you don’t kill or hurt Kang Woong too badly, I will turn a blindeye."
Whew.
That was a relief.
Heedo wasn’t afraid of Mayor Kang Doosik because he knew that without the Jangs support, the mayor was nothing but a puppet politician.
Fortunately, President Jang gave me her word.
"Thank you for the wonderful wedding gift, President Jang."
"If you’re really grateful, then call me ’noona.’"
"That’s too much... Auntie."
"Hey, that’s how you used to call me when you were little!" Jang Aejung "complained" lightly, laughing. "Introduce me to your husband later, Heedo-ya. I want to see what kind of person tamed someone like you."
"I will introduce him to you on one condition, President Jang— you can’t ask my husband to climb Mount Everest with you."
Heedo wasn’t joking, but Jang Aejung suddenly burst out laughing.
I’m serious, though?

IT WAS a little awkward.
Sohee accompanied Go Gunjoon to school.
Yep, only the two of them were together at the moment.
Kim Heedo wants a grand entrance, after all.
For once, his husband wanted more drama than he did.
Anyway, let’s use this opportunity to talk.
"Go Gunjoon."
"Yes, Hyung-nim?"
"Can I ask a sensitive question?"
"Go ahead, Hyung-nim."
"Did you really try to kill yourself?"
Sohee asked Shin Kang to investigate, but it was hard for the ahjussi to do so because the traces pointed out that it was indeed a suicide attempt.
But we don’t buy it.
"I wasn’t planning to kill myself, but I did jump off on my own," Go Gunjoon confessed as if he was embarrassed. "Kang Woong said he would help me stay in school if I survived the fall. I knew I wouldn’t die because I saw things below that would break my fall. But that bastard didn’t keep his promise. When I woke up, our mother told me that the school wanted me gone."
Haaah.
Kids these days are really scary.
Sohee was about to gently pat Go Gunjoon’s back, but he was surprised when someone suddenly grabbed his wrist from behind.
When he turned around, an unfamiliar handsome face greeted him.
Handsome, but obviously a jerk.
An Alpha, to boot.
Argh.
This kid’s pheromones smell bad.
"An Omega who smells nice, huh?" the arrogant Alpha said rudely, smrking. And then he glanced at Go Gunjoon. "Yah, Go Gunjoon. Did you bring this thing for me? Thank you. I’ll enjoy this Omega whore well."
It wasn’t the first time Sohee heard an Alpha call him a whore, so he wasn’t really fazed.
This vulgar kid must be Kang Woong.
Sohee was just about to say something sarcastic— but his half-brother’s fist was faster than his mouth.
Yes, Go Gunjoon just punched Kang Woong in the face.
"Student Go Gunjoon, what do you think you’re doing?!"
And, yes, Go Gunjoon was caught in the act by what seemed like a group of faculty members.
Aigoo.
Sohee almost face-palmed.
This isn’t looking good for our case.
