Jade instantly returned the earlier kiss. Her bare chest pressed against Lucius’s own as she stood on her toes to reach his lips. Despite her much smaller size, he found himself being pushed back a few steps as she aggressively pursued him.

"Do you want to stop?" He asked. He knew how husky his voice sounded. It was a strange feeling. Though he had felt intense desire before—for both Rena and Kalliope—this felt different. Stronger. More…real. Was it a consequence of Grimm?

"I-I’m not sure." Jade continued. Her beautiful blue eyes opened wide. Lucius could see a reflection of his own expression within them. Her gorgeous hair flowed down her face and back.

For a moment, silence fell between them. Interrupted by the occasional ragged breath of the young woman beneath his gaze. Her chest rose in preparation for her answer. "Please, Lord Lucius Kane. Allow me to join you in your bed…such as it is."

With those final words of affirmation, Lucius lowered her into a more comfortable position. Her head rested on his pillow while her arms uselessly attempted to cover her bountiful chest. Lucius smirked at the way she squeezed her legs together, suddenly embarrassed after such a display earlier when she brazenly dropped her dress.

Not keen on teasing her too badly in such a vulnerable state, Lucius slowly removed the remainder of his clothes, exposing himself to her fully. Jade’s eyes widened impossibly large, one of her hands forgetting to cover her immodest form as she reached to grab him. Jade paused for a moment before scowling. "What about what you want? There is more than just myself involved in this act Lucius."

Such support, without asking anything in return… how could I not have developed feelings for you. And now…" Lucius released his hold, allowing Jade to meet his gaze. "You are mine. You make me feel safe. Though it is in a different way. As I explained, things for me may be entirely different, but you promised to be there to support me. Keep me safe with you. She giggled in response to that. "To think Titan of Eroa, Lord Lucius Kane, Son of the famous Kalivas and the Oracle of Arcadios… would feel protected by an insignificant girl like me…though, if anyone, I do feel it is me that can do it."

They sighed together in contentment. After several minutes of silence, Jade broke it once more. "Lucius?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think you can stop calling me Jade Adler?"

Lucius paused, mulling over the decision in his mind. Though it was made the moment she asked. "Then, how about Lady Jade Kane. Doesn’t flow as well as Adler, but I think it still suits you all the same."
