Chapter 1400: Chapter 1027: Rose Extra (Part 1)

The warm sunlight poured through the skylight onto the intricately patterned carpet, and the dust danced like elves in the light beams.

Ash lay sideways on Rose’s lap, Rose was holding a glowing ear pick, carefully cleaning his ears with the delicacy of handling a bomb. The ear pick made a faint rustling sound on the ear wall, giving Ash an indescribable pleasure.

He actually enjoyed having Rose clean his ears. Although others were willing to help, Vishi seemed like he would puncture his eardrum and mess around;

Nia obviously wasn’t skilled at such delicate activities;

Filly would awkwardly imitate Vishi in teasing him, but that only made him more distracted;

Harvey was technically good, but it made Ash feel like he was undergoing an autopsy.

Only Rose and Igula could provide him this enjoyable experience, but Igula never pampered him, giving him a cotton swab to do it himself; actually, Rose didn’t indulge him either, only offering ear cleaning services when Ash truly needed it.

Rose wore a black pleated skirt, adorned with pearl and gold waist accessories, the friction of the polyester fabric was pleasant, and the sunlight softly shone into the villa, making Ash feel a bit sleepy.

"I just saw someone waking up and immediately making out with his girlfriend; I thought it would be great if the person I liked could do that too. So I went over for a closer look, Ash, guess what I saw?"

Across the coffee table, Filly stared at Ash intently, full of resentment, like a fierce little lamb ready to bite. Nia sat beside her, wearing a hooded jumpsuit coat, with the zipper pulled up to her neck, the hood covering her head, leaving only two strands of red hair exposed. She squatted on the sofa hugging her legs, watching a variety show on the TV, like a curled-up hedgehog.

Igula sat with legs crossed in a soft chair reading a book, but what he read were popular novels. Sometimes when Ash was too bored, he would ask Igula for something mysterious to read, and the Swindler could even give Ash a book list. Harvey sat at the edge of the coffin, seriously trimming the ’family’ member’s nails, never minding that his own nails were almost like those of a skeleton claw.

"...What did you see?"

"I saw the person kissing his girlfriend was the person I liked."

Filly pouted, taking a rose from a vase nearby, crumbled the innocent petals, and said gloomily, "Ash, how could you secretly kiss your girlfriend behind my back!"

"I know you’re in a hurry, Filly, but don’t rush." Rose said, "Don’t you notice there’s a logical problem in your words?"

"Although that should be Ash’s substantial first kiss with the Sword Maiden in reality," Igula stated leisurely, "But in terms of order, Filly, you actually got to Ash before the Sword Maiden."

Harvey looked up somewhat confused, "Ash’s first kiss?"

The tone of the curly-haired black guy was as surprised as if hearing about a demi-god level Lala Fat.

"In reality, non-forced, purely out of will, without any influencing factors... first kiss." Igula explained with seriousness, "As long as you pile on enough qualifiers, anyone can achieve a hundred percent achievement with Ash."

"But Ash took the initiative to deeply kiss!" Filly said puffedly, "Clearly, he and I are, we are..."

"You always took the initiative to put your tongue in, sometimes even after drinking," Nia suddenly commented, "Causing him to kiss me with a lingering taste of alcohol."

"Nia," Filly held Nia’s arm, acting spoiled, "Aren’t we on the same side!?"

"Why should I be on the same side as you?"

"Because we... we..."

Filly’s voice became barely audible as she fiddled with her fingers, her face blushing as red as a blooming rose, "We slept together..."

"If you find it embarrassing, just don’t say it! Moreover, we just squeezed together to rest!" Nia retorted irritably, grumbling, "I haven’t even had a wet kiss yet..."

Watching this scene, Ash felt a bit bewildered.

This is their daily life, everyone gathering together, engaging in endless chatter, talking about the mage world, local customs, though recently, much of it revolves around Ash’s love life. Filly hopes to further the relationship but is too shy to suggest it, Nia remains silent but can suddenly flare up, Igula plays the role of shooting straight, and Harvey occasionally speaks, deepening Ash’s mental trauma, while Rose handles logistics and reminds everyone of logical issues in their words.

Thinking about it, it’s actually quite monotonous, it’s puzzling how there can be so much endless conversation, and half a year passed without notice. So Ash believed that after saving Allstars, they would only change locations to continue this way of life, nothing would really change...

Knock Knock!

The villa’s main door suddenly resounded with sharp knocks, as Rose put down the ear pick intending to answer, but Ash held her shoulder down.

"Let me go." Ash didn’t know why he was so nervous, "They’re here for me, all of you stay here, don’t move."

"Okay." Rose brushed away his hand, reminding him, "Next time, just speak up; intimate contact isn’t part of an assistant’s duties."

Ash looked slightly stunned at the rubber band tying his wrist. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Filly burst out laughing, "I still remember when Sister Rose wanted to have a child with Ash..."

"I just wanted to experience the process of nurturing life, now with developed test-tube baby technology, the whole process doesn’t require intimate contact." Rose mused thoughtfully, "Speaking of which, since the Allstars incident is over, I now have ten safe months..."
