Mage Legend-Chapter 324: Episode 18 Spy_4
Chapter 324: Episode 18 Spy_4
The elves surrounding the Great Druid turned around and nodded to Lynch. Not all of them knew this mage in front of them; some had only heard his name. However, Lynch’s name was linked to the first repulsion of the undead’s attack, and the defense strategy he provided to the elves was indeed effective. Even if ordinary elves didn’t know this, how could these elite warriors be unaware?
"Good day." Lynch nodded. "What kind of wind could bring such excellent souls together?" Zilvra was not by his side, and the little angel was immersed in a game of hide and seek with the flowing patterns on the mage robe, indifferent to what the elves were saying. So, Lynch directly used Elf Language to communicate with the people in front of him. The mage, proficient in various languages, spoke like a native elf, which shocked all the elves present except for Nosta.
"Good day," Nosta said. "When the elite gather, it’s either for a celebration or danger. Unfortunately, this time we face danger." He placed his right hand on his chest, then spread it out. "First, let me introduce these warriors in front of you."
The Great Druid spoke about these elves around him, simply but to the point. These people had come from outside Heather, responsible for the safety of various tribal communities, but the attack Heather faced worried them, so they gathered here. Their work in the small tribes was not much different from Nosta’s, but as the Great Druid was the key elf responsible for the Holy Land, they had to follow his instructions in the command structure.
Lynch nodded to each elf present. Although he was a mage, possessing the power of extensive knowledge and quite potent Magic, in front of these elder elves, he could only be considered a junior. Learning from the experienced is always one of the mage’s tenets.
"This lady..." The Great Druid Nosta pointed to a female elf beside him, suddenly stammering before continuing, "This is the Empress’s daughter, Druid Yilinrui. Recently...just recently recovered from meditation and came over."
Lynch had been using the Eye of Insight to observe the equipment of the elves before him, estimating each elite’s favored combat skills from their muscle lines. Upon hearing Nosta’s words, he finally withdrew his gaze to look at the elf in front of him. However, the difference between using and not using the Eye of Insight was negligible; the coverings on this elf were indeed scanty.
Druids generally liked to use natural fabrics, even using animal skins or leaf cloaks as clothes. However, Yilinrui was more "Druid-stylized." She only covered important areas with silver shells, decorated her hair with pale yellow flowers, and accessorized her wrists and ankles with carved bone necklaces, which was her entire attire.
Her hair surpassed that of a typical elf, cascading to her knees. Unlike her mother, Yilinrui didn’t inherit that head of golden curls, nor did she have uniformly colored hair like other elves. Her hair was a cascade of various colors, like a rainbow after rain.
Yilinrui closed her eyes, withholding her vivid green eyes, as if springtime morning grass, from Lynch. She wrinkled her prominent nose in his direction and took a sniff, then nodded affirmatively, a smile emerging on her lips.
"We finally meet..."
