Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World-Chapter 147 Survival
"Damn it…" Xavier groaned, pushing himself up; the dwarf had sacrificed his life, but because of that, his plan was made easier.
The dragon was barely holding herself together, but she was still alive even after all that, showing how powerful she really was.
Sylve ran over to Xavier.
"She's not done," Sylve muttered.
"But she's weak now. We have to finish it; I just need one more distraction so she won't see what's coming," Xavier spoke.
Sylve wiped the blood from her face and nodded. "What type of distraction"
"Something to take her attention away from on top of her"
The dragon finally screamed—a horrible, deafening sound. She was barely holding on; even though they did nothing, she was going to die sooner or later, but they had to end it.
She twisted and flailed, flames bursting out one last time as her wings beat wildly, and she wanted to fly up. But her strength was leaving her fast.
Now that she was slow, Sylve was finally able to do it. She stretched her staff forward, and a streak of light burst out toward one of her wings, creating a hole and sending the dragon back down.
"Is that enough for..." Sylve stopped as she saw a figure cutting through the air coming down with a hammer.
*BOOM!!*
The dwarf hammer landed on top of the dragon's head, and the explosion lit up the room again, this time, it wasn't as powerful, but it was enough as the blast created a hole on top of the dragon's head.
The dragon was still able to howl… before finally collapsing on the ground.
Her body, which crashed to the ground, sent dust, and even after that, the dragon was still able to breathe for some seconds before its body finally stopped moving.
The attack was strong enough to erase his clone of the dwarf while the clone of himself landed beside him.
Silence.
For a moment, both of them didn't speak a word. The only sound was the crackling of fire in the distance and the dripping of blood from the dragon's body.
Xavier dropped to one knee, panting hard as his Mana was low.
Sylve also crashed to the ground, her heart pounding.
They had won.
But the dwarf and the Harpy were gone; this was what the tower was about; if it was only Xavier, he had no idea if he would have survived.
Both of them died a gruesome death, but in the end, they won.
Xavier stood up as he walked toward Sylve, who had tears running down her face; even though she tried to keep her cool during the battle, it was still too much; now, the fear of death was dawning on her.
At first, the dragon went for the Harpy; if the dragon had gone for her, she wouldn't be here now.
Xavier couldn't bring himself to say anything to her because he knew the next floor was 9, and they were going to battle themselves, but if she remained like this, then she would be at a disadvantage.
Xavier took a deep breath, and before he could speak, a voice rang out.
"Oh, you won...I place a lot of hope on the dragon; look like she was outsmarted," the god spoke as he walked towards both of them.
"Get ready for the next floor; this is the preparation for the finale," he spoke.
"We want to rest?" Xavier spoke.
"No...I can't wait any longer, I'll refill your Mana and..." The god stretched his hand, and a red glowing crystal appeared in his hand, and he handed it to Xavier. freewebnσvel.cøm
"This is the dragon crystal, I'm sure you'll want it, we're leaving now"
Before Xavier could protest, he was already close to Sylve, and the god had his hand on both of them and the next moment, they vanished, appearing somewhere else.
It was nothing like the room they had been in previously; this was more like an arena, covered in sand with a large chair above; the walls were circular like a coliseum, and the god was seated there with a mischievous smirk on his face.
Sylve dropped back to the ground, and Xavier looked forward and saw Dragonborn and Tiger at the other side of the arena.
The system appeared in front of Xavier next and he stared at the screen in front of him.

Xavier quickly glanced through his stats; even though it looked good, it still wasn't enough for this particular fight, he was going against Dragonborn, who had almost infinite Mana, plus Xavier saw him fighting.
He mainly used lightning spells, spells that were fast enough to strike before the target could dodge.
"I separated you into two groups because of this fight, you'll be fighting in groups, and fortunately there are two people left for each group so it's going to be interesting, I'll give you ten minutes, and then fight to the death"
'Nothing more interesting than watching mortal squirming, even all ten of them would not be enough to pass the tenth tower, all the rest of the floor beasts were weaklings and six of them still managed to die, there's no hope for this group'
'Shit, me and Sylve would team up and face Dragonborn and Tiger, both of them are strong, stronger than me, and Sylve'
"Sylve, you have to get up and stop crying, don't you want to survive?" Xavier asked as he bent down.
"I don't want to die" Sylve spoke with tears rolling down her face.
