Lucky Spin: Godly Programming-Chapter 138 - 139: This is just actually a tutorial?
To not give him any rest, Instructor Jakol launched forward again, now it’s faster, heavier, that even floor beneath his feet cracking with every step.
His motion blurred, and the air itself screamed as he accelerated.
Jeff’s golden eyes sharpened. His senses expanded and each second stretched into clarity.
He could see every micro movement the twitch of Jakol’s shoulder, the faint turn of his ankle before the strike.
Then came the clash. Jakol’s fist cut through the air like thunder but Jeff didn’t dodge this time.
His body moved on its own he took a stepped forward as he twisted his waist then his right fist swung out like a cannon blast.
BOOOOOOM!
A shockwave exploded outward, a pulse of pure force tearing through the white space like a sonic storm.
The very air rippled and distorted as cracks laced across the endless floor beneath them.
The impact hit Jakol’s chest dead center and for a split second, everything went silent but then Jakol’s entire upper body twisted unnaturally.
His neck snapped, and his head separated cleanly from his shoulders as a violent shockwave burst behind him, flinging the body like a ragdoll across the white room.
The severed head disintegrated into fragments of light before hitting the ground. Seeing that his punch had killed the instructor made him froze.
His breathing halted and became haggard, seeing that he had actually severed the head of the very teacher that had been teaching him.
He slowly looked at his own trembling hand, "...What... just happened?" he whispered, his voice was shaking.
He felt his heart pounded like thunder in his chest. He didn’t know whether to be proud or terrified.
"One hit..." he muttered.
"I... I killed him in one hit..."
"Is this how strong I’ve become? I really need to be careful from now on."
"I only used eighty percent of my strength, yet it was enough to kill the instructor. What would have happened if I had accidentally used even a bit of my power while playing with a normal human?" he thought, feeling uneasy.
As he was lamenting over how to control his strength, the system suddenly appeared before him
[Detected that you have Killed ’Instructor Jakol’]
[Sensing that the host had broken through to the Third Level and can’t control your strength]
[Limiter adjusted]
[Instructor Jakol strength output: 10% of Prime]
"What, only ten percent? Are you saying I’m still not even half as strong as he was in his prime?" Jeff couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
He had thought he’d grown incredibly powerful, yet the system stated that ten percent of Jakol’s strength will be enough to defeat him?
It didn’t make sense. He refused to believe it.
Then, before he could think further Instructor Jakol appeared once again, clearly revived by the system.
He watched as Jakol tilted his head slightly, his body lowering into a stance that looked calm and effortless, yet the pressure that radiated from him made Jeff’s breath catch in his throat.
He couldn’t sense his strength at all. No aura, no presence, nothing. It was like standing before a void that was waiting to explode.
When all of a sudden, a loud boom like a bomb came, he did not carry explosive on him rather he just throws a punch.
BOOM!
The punch didn’t hit Jeff, instead the air itself. The sound that followed wasn’t just a boom, it was a full-blown detonation.
The entire white room shattered like glass. A ripple of pure force surged outward, folding the air and crushing the space itself into invisible waves.
Jeff’s eyes widened in shock and horror. He hadn’t seen it coming at all. The shockwave hit him before his mind could even react, and an invisible hammer slammed into his body, sending him flying.
His ribs groaned under the pressure, the air forced out of his lungs as he was launched backward like a ragdoll.
Every bone screamed he felt it, the deep vibration under his skin as though his entire skeleton had been struck by lightning. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
The ground behind him shattered upon impact. He skidded, rolled, and finally slammed into the white wall with a deafening bang.
He gasped as he clutched his chest trying hard to breathe.
His arms trembled, bones aching as if every fiber of his being had been crushed by the air itself.
He lifted his gaze slowly, his eyes were very wide in disbelief.
"He... he didn’t even touch me, how is that possible? This is not human anymore," He cursed, it’s like having a superhuman power right now.
Blasting the air with a punch and it’s damage is even stronger than a grenade are you kidding me?
Jakol stood still for a moment, watching as the one he had struck lay motionless on the ground.
Then he began walking toward him. Faint wisps of kinetic energy spiraled around his fist, like smoke fading in reverse.
When he reached Jeff, he extended his hand and casually brushed the dust off his own shoulder, perfectly mimicking what Jeff had done earlier.
Seeing that, Jeff’s was stunned and remembered that he had done this earlier, clearly, he was mocking him.
He was about to leap at him, but before he could even move, Jakol struck.
His foot came down hard on Jeff’s chest, slamming him into the ground with such force that the floor caved in beneath him.
The attack shattered his chest, and even his heart felt like it had been crushed into jelly.
His vision blurred, and he knew he was on the verge of death.
"Am I going to die?" he whispered as tears slid down his face.
There was still so much he wanted to do, and the thought of dying now filled him with despair.
As darkness began to swallow his senses, it felt as though he were drifting into a void of nothingness.
After what felt like minutes, the pain faded. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back in the white room, with the system panel floating silently before him.
Realizing he was back, he quickly touched himself, his body, hugged it and also his face.
The sensation was real, leaving him shaken and filled with disbelief.
Before he could even question whether he had truly died and ended up in heaven, the system’s voice echoed before him.
