Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 777: The Sea View
"Am I allowed to leave my room?"
Ronan’s laughing voice echoed in her head.
(Are you a prisoner, sweetheart? Who forbade you to leave the room?)
Arielle stood up to pick up her long coat. The woman also wore warm gloves and a scarf to cover her face.
"Weren’t you the one who told me to stay in the room?"
Arielle stood up to pick up her long coat. The woman also wore warm gloves and a scarf to cover her face.
(I didn’t say that. I said that you can just wait in your room if you want. If you don’t want to, you don’t have to, sweetheart.)
"Alright, then. I’m going out of my room. Can I?"
(Sure, love. Take care. Call William to be with you.)
"I’ll do."
Arielle knocked on William’s room and the man was out in a flash.
"Arielle?" asked William who was confused to see Arielle back in closed clothes. Arielle smiled under her scarf when William called her name.
"I want to get a better view. Want to see the sea more clearly."
"Er... but... it’s snowing outside."
"I’ve got permission from Ronan," Arielle replied making William frown.
"Permission?" William asked confused.
Arielle again nodded.
"A moment, please."
William then closed his bedroom door once. Arielle waited patiently in front of the man’s door. Arielle didn’t want to trouble William. If William doesn’t allow her, she will go back to her room. She could still see the ocean from the window.
It didn’t take one minute, William opened the bedroom door again and then accepted Arielle’s request to go upstairs to see the ocean from outside. William put on his coat as he walked. He invited Arielle to go upstairs, where the captain’s room was.
The cold wind hit Arielle’s face which was already covered by the scarf when the door opened. Snow covered the floor of the ship. Not a single person in sight. Arielle walked closer to the edge of the ship while looking at everything in front of her.
It turned out that the ocean was much, much wider than what she saw from the bedroom window. The dark blue sea adds a mysterious impression. Arielle couldn’t see what was in the water. Only the reflection of the ship’s shadow is visible on the surface of the sea.
The waves crashing into the ship form small white foam. The nausea that Arielle had felt earlier disappeared for a moment.
(What do you think about the view now? It’s pretty right?) asked Ronan still connecting their telepathy.
"Yeah. they look... beautiful and ... scary at the same time."
(Scary?) Ronan asked confused by the contradiction.
"It’s scary because I don’t know what’s under the surface of the ocean. They are so dark, cold and untouched. It reminds me of William’s words about sea monsters that might be lurking beneath the surface of the sea."
Ronan chuckled. (The ocean you are passing right now is very safe from sea monsters. Sea monsters only occupy deep oceans with deep trench to hide their huge bodies. The Northendell Sea is a low sea. You don’t have to worry about sea monsters)
Arielle smiled then thanked Ronan for making her feel better. Just hearing that man’s voice made Arielle calm. The restlessness as well as the queasy feeling she was feeling slowly disappeared.
"If you were here, it would be very nice. We can see the sea together."
(Wait a little longer. I will meet you again)
"Yeah ... and what are you doing now?" asked Arielle who wanted to know what her husband was doing. Possibly the man had reached the palace. Ronan has extraordinary riding skills. It probably only took Ronan a few hours to ride alone from the port city to reach the capital.
(Sit by the window and see the beautiful view)
"What are you looking at?"
(Snow falling and ... portrait of a woman I love so much)
Arielle blushed covering her face in embarrassment. William stood by the door to make sure no one came up on deck to disturb Arielle’s time enjoying the view of the sea out there.
(Are you holding back your embarrassment right now?) asked Ronan who was satisfied that he managed to seduce his wife from a distance.
"N-no. I feel normal. I don’t feel embarrassed at all," Arielle lied.
(I know you’re lying. You’re holding back your smile right now?) teased Ronan once again.
Arielle bit her lower lip hard then shook her head.
(Even if you shake your head, I can tell)
"Shake my head? I’m not shaking my head," Arielle said with furrowed brows.
As far as Arielle knew, telepathic communication between herself and Ronan was only limited to sound. How could Ronan know she was shaking her head? Arielle looked back and found William standing guard by the door while looking out to sea.
Feeling watched, William turned to Arielle.
"You need something?" asked William casually.
"Um.. n-no. I’m just... just a little cold," answered Arielle who then turned back to face the sea.
The ocean waves seemed to get bigger shaking the ship. Prince Khaled who saw Arielle and William outside the ship approached them.
"Sorry, My Lord. It would be nice for Queen Arielle to return to her room. There will be a storm ahead." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Arielle heard the message conveyed by Prince Khaled. The woman looked back and bowed in salute when Prince Khaled also bowed to Arielle.
William approached Arielle. "Your Highness, as Prince Khaled said, we better get back in the room. Maybe later after the storm has passed we can see the ocean again."
Arielle nodded in understanding then followed William to return to her own room. Inside the room, the nausea Arielle felt came back to her. This time it felt more intense and Arielle couldn’t help but have to run to the back of the bathroom to vomit what was in her stomach.
The urge to vomit was so strong but nothing came out. Arielle didn’t eat anything that afternoon so her stomach was still empty. Arielle wanted to call William or Lucas again but was afraid to bother them.
