Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 582: Arielle Introduce Irene To Sasha
Arielle and Irene enjoy their time experimenting with new colors. Irene also started painting even though what she drew was still abstract. The child was still as clumsy as Arielle when she was first introduced to a painting brush.
Arielle used their smallest canvas and painted a rose for Irene. However, just as she was about to finish her painting, Aimee arrived to inform her that Ronan was waiting in the dining hall so the three of them could eat together
Arielle then took off her white apron, which was already dirty with some paints. So did Irene who then hung the apron in its original place. Arielle and Irene walked towards the dining hall together hand in hand.
When the two of them were crossing the palace courtyard, there was suddenly a loud scream that made Arielle a bit startled.
"ARIEEEEELLLLE!!!!!!!!"
Arielle turned her head and saw a red-haired boy running fast towards her. Recognizing her little friend, she stretched her arms and hugged Sasha tightly. She almost fell backwards because the boy not only hugged her but jumped at her too.
"Sasha ..." Arielle said excitedly. She also really missed the child.
She then remembered Luffy, a small dragon who had almost the same height as Sasha. However, Luffy was now as tall as her shoulders. Perhaps the boy had already reached a teenager’s phase. Arielle didn’t know. She didn’t understand how the dragons grow and develop.
"Arielle, where have your hair gone?" asked Sasha who had just realized that Arielle’s hair was now very short.
The boy reached out his hand while holding the ends of Arielle’s hair. "My hair is still here, but I cut it short because at that time my long hair was a little annoying," Arielle answered.
"Arielle! Really, where have you been? Why did you never reply to my letter? I always wanted to visit the palace again, but mama said you were sick. Is it true?"
"Yeah, and I’m fully healed now."
"Arielle ..."
Sasha hugged Arielle tightly again, and she hugged him back. Her hand patted Sasha’s back a few times, calming the boy down so he wouldn’t be too sad. Arielle was back in Northendell now, so there was no need to worry anymore.
Sasha opened his eyes and accidentally saw a girl who was taller than him. The girl had been standing while looking at him and Arielle alternately. She had black hair as dark as night, and skin as white as snow. Her natural red lips made Sasha’s heart flutter at the sight.
Sasha released his arms from Arielle then whispered. "Arielle, who is that girl?" he asked in a low voice so the beautiful girl wouldn’t hear him.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce you two."
Arielle stood up again and held Irene’s shoulders. Sasha had to look up because Irene was about one head taller than him.
"Irene, please introduce yourself. This boy is my little best friend named Sasha. He’s the child I told you about at the time," Arielle said while pointing at Sasha.
Sasha turned to Irene to be introduced to the child as well. His hands clenched into fists. He was eager to know the girl’s name.
"And Sasha, please introduce yourself too. This is Princess Irene D. Blackthorn. The younger sister of His Majesty the King."
Sasha was silent for a moment. He still didn’t understand. "You mean Lord William’s younger sister? Didn’t only Lord Kael and Lord William have a younger sister?" Sasha asked in confusion.
"No, no. Irene is the younger sister of His Majesty King Ronan."
Sasha tilted his head skeptically. He looked at Irene once more and glanced at her black hair that resembled the king’s midnight hair. Besides, her sharp gaze also reminded Sasha of the king’s fierce gaze that he could sometimes see from between the man’s mask.
But, since when did the king have a sister? If she was the sister of a king, did that mean the girl was also a princess? Of course! Sasha had also heard clearly how Arielle called her Princess Irene. Irene... what a beautiful name.
Sasha then bowed down to salute to the princess. "Nice to meet you, Her Highness Princess Irene. I am Sasha. An apprentice knight who will dedicate my life to guarding and protecting the royal family."
Arielle couldn’t stop herself from chuckling at Sasha’s adorable, polite demeanor. Irene also replied to Sasha with a small salute.
"Sasha, have you had lunch? You want to join us?"
Sasha’s face instantly brightened up, and his little head nodded quickly. "Of course! Thank you for your invitation, Your Highness," he said, then took the princess’ hand on the left while Arielle used her other hand to hold Irene.
The three of them passed through a part of the palace that wasn’t crowded because Irene’s whereabouts hadn’t been announced yet, so they didn’t want to take the attention of the citizens who were waiting for the king’s break. When they arrived in front of the dining hall, they passed Lazarus.
"Well.. well.. Well... who are we meeting with this time?" Lazarus asked, as his eyes met Sasha’s.
Sasha raised both of his hands, indicating he didn’t want to fight with Lazarus right now. Lazarus, who was ignored by Sasha, was shocked to death, and it made Arielle chuckle.
"Oi, boy!" Lazarus shouted, making Arielle stop her stride so that Irene and Sasha also stopped at the same time.
Sasha turned his head with a disinterested look. "Lord Lazarus, please act like a grown man," he said calmly. William, who also just came out of the dining hall, burst out laughing at Sasha’s incredible response.
The man then bowed respectfully to greet Arielle and Irene then invited the three of them to enter the hall because Ronan was already waiting.
William then closed the door of the dining hall and laughed again at Lazarus who was scolded by a ten-year-old boy.
Ronan, who had been waiting for Arielle and Irene, frowned when he saw another person that wasn’t invited before. Ronan stood up to greet his wife warmly. Several male servants approached to pull out chairs for Irene and Sasha.
