Chapter 202: Time To Say Goodbye

After making love for another round, Arielle said that she was exhausted. Ronan could go again, but he couldn’t bear to see Arielle look so tired. The man took a blanket and wrapped Arielle’s body so she wouldn’t get cold.

He kissed Arielle’s exposed shoulder. Tomorrow was the day that Arielle would go to the South. Not much preparation was made because, from the start, Arielle arrived with hardly anything. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

After all, her old dresses had also been confiscated by the bandits and when Ronan found them again, most of the clothes had been torn because the bandits only took a few pearls decorating the dresses.

For Ronan, Arielle was more suited to wearing Northendell’s outfit. Therefore he ordered Lucas to always fill the girl’s closet with Northern clothes.

Ronan lifted Arielle’s head and then slid his hand under it.

"Ronan, you’re really going to pick me up, right?" asked Arielle with her eyes closed.

Ronan kissed the girl’s forehead briefly. "Of course. How can we get married if I didn’t come and get you?"

Arielle hugged the man and pressed on his body. "Thank you, I trust you."

The man smirked and returned the hug.

"You won’t be going home alone either. Tania will come with you, and so will Sasha."

"Sasha?" Arielle’s eyes suddenly opened. She didn’t understand why Ronan said Sasha would come with her. She knew Tania would come with her because Tania was the one who would serve her while she returned to the South. Then why Sasha too?

"I am sending Sasha to be your companion while you were there so you wouldn’t feel lonely. At least the child will become your consolation when you are longing for the North," the man joked as he pinched Arielle’s adorable nose.

They wouldn’t be able to do this for some time to come. Ronan promised to immediately pick up the girl after everything King Hugo wanted was fulfilled. He couldn’t stay away from Arielle. The girl’s warmth was calming. The scent and warmth of her body were a powerful medicine to remove all fatigue he experienced after a full day’s work.

Ronan couldn’t wait to introduce Arielle as his wife and also the queen of Northendell to all the people in the world. Priest Louise himself said that the wedding procession could be done faster if they did it more simply. However, for the coronation procession, of course, would take months.

Ronan had no problem as long as Arielle was by his side. At least the wait of months could prepare Arielle to become his queen. Ronan was sure that Arielle could do it. Arielle was a great and hardworking girl. She would study hard...

Arielle opened her eyes slowly. She saw the window blinds were still tightly closed. She also looked around the room and didn’t find Ronan there. As usual, the man would wake up earlier than her. Arielle woke up with weak legs. She always felt uncomfortable in the part between her legs every time she had done making love with Ronan. Arielle sat for a while to gather her energy again.

She walked slowly over to the walk-in closet and picked up the clothes Ronan had tossed last night on the floor. She got dressed neatly again. After wrapping her body in thick clothes, the girl cleaned up some of the gift wrapping paper that was thrown away. She also tidied up the two lingeries that were very inappropriate to wear.

The girl’s face turned red when she saw that the edges of the lingerie she wore last night were torn. She remembered how tightly Ronan held her until he tore it. If she could, she would like to destroy such items from the face of the earth. They were... too lewd.

She didn’t forget to arrange all the presents the man got on the table, so the room didn’t look messy. Seeing the book that was her present, Arielle hesitated to touch it. While the girl was standing silently for a moment, suddenly there was a knock on the door of Ronan’s room. Arielle hurriedly closed the book back and placed it with other presents on the table.

She smoothen her clothes and walked towards the door. In front of the door, she saw Lucas and Tania, who looked down waiting for her presence.

"Good morning, Princess. Sorry to disturb your rest. Time to get ready for the trip."

"Thank you, Lucas."

Arielle didn’t do much, the girl just sat quietly in the room, letting Tania and several other maids tidy up her clothes. The rabbits were busy wandering around the room. Only two other rabbits that were now sitting on her lap while being gently stroked.

She frowned in confusion, since she woke up, she hadn’t seen Ronan at all.

"Your Highness, everything is ready."

"Okay."

Arielle put the rabbits down with a heavy heart. As she left the room, the five of them stopped playing and jumped after Arielle, who was about to leave. Arielle herself didn’t mind. She let them linger a little, she still wanted to see the five of them a little longer. Arielle squatted down and carried the five rabbits.

In front of the palace already stood Tania and a small child who was wearing a dress.

A girl? Arielle did not recognize the child because the girl was wearing a wide hat that covered her face.

Lucas then put some bags containing clothes and a few glass jars of Frostberry fruit jam because it was Arielle’s favorite fruit.

Arielle tilted her body to see the little girl’s face. Her eyes blinked in disbelief.

"Sasha? Are you wearing a girl’s dress? Why?" asked Arielle, a little surprised not expecting that Sasha could look so beautiful in a girl’s clothes.

"Blame Lazarus! He gave His Majesty a bad idea! They said that if I disguised myself as a girl I don’t need to be separated from you," he said with a frown on his face.

"Awww... I’m sorry. Because of me, you have to wear clothes like this," Arielle said apologetically.
