Love You Till the End-Chapter 1041 - 1040: That Thing Could Kill Someone
Just like when he usually appears in magazine interviews, his striking shirt and sunglasses made him stand out in the crowd.
The first thing Su Jiuyi did after finding him was to apologize, much like a small-time magazine reporter making a big-name celebrity wait.
"Actually, I haven’t been here long," Ye Han said with a smile, "You don’t need to apologize."
Although he said so, Su Jiuyi knew in her heart that he must have been impatient, which is why he called her.
Su Jiuyi nodded. Ye Han was still somewhat unfamiliar to her.
Even though their relationship had warmed up through chatting, meeting in person, she still felt a long distance between them.
After all, Ye Han was the kind of person she, a working girl, couldn’t easily reach.
Ye Han asked her, "Do you want to go shopping or to the amusement park?"
It seemed there were only these two ways to vent her dissatisfaction.
Su Jiuyi vaguely remembered the last time she went to an amusement park was ten years ago during a classmate’s birthday, when they went to the hottest amusement park in the city at that time and played wildly for a whole day.
That day was probably part of the few joyful memories of her life, always occupying her mind.
"A choice of two?" Returning to reality, Ye Han was still waiting for her answer, "Or do you have a better idea?"
She really wanted to experience those thrilling rides again.
"The amusement park!" she answered.
Su Jiuyi didn’t admit to being timid, but when she saw the loop roller coaster acclaimed as a "world’s best," she couldn’t help but pull Ye Han’s arm and walk in the opposite direction.
Ye Han chuckled and looked at her, "Are you scared already?"
From across the way, continuous screams came from the roller coaster, as daring riders released their hands to enjoy the thrill of the wind whooshing by.
Seeing Ye Han standing firm without moving as she tugged, with a calm expression, Su Jiuyi let go of his hand and glanced up at the roller coaster, "That thing could kill someone."
Ye Han took off his sunglasses, gave him a sly look, and said, "You’ve never been on a roller coaster, have you?"
When she used to visit amusement parks, Su Jiuyi indeed never rode roller coasters. She was young at the time; although her height met the requirements for many rides, she didn’t have the courage to challenge these dangerous things.
"How about we ride the carousel first..." She calmed herself down, trying to switch the topic.
Ye Han replied with an "Alright" and then put his sunglasses back on.
Just as the carousel gathered enough people, Su Jiuyi and Ye Han each chose a horse, waiting for the music to start.
Su Jiuyi hugged the horse’s head, took out her phone from her bag, and snapped a picture of Ye Han next to her.
"Can I send this exclusive photo to a magazine?" she asked with a happy face, shaking her phone.
Ye Han laughed lightly, "I’m not a celebrity; even if you send it, no one would care about you."
"I’m submitting it to a romance magazine. A man who willingly plays on a carousel with his girlfriend is now a hot commodity." She said with a serious tone, embellishing the photo she just took with filters and stickers.
Ye Han’s eyes flashed with a hint of confusion, his thin lips opening slightly as if to speak, but the sudden ringing completely drowned out his words.
