Chapter 1925: Chapter 1924: Hello, Second Sister-in-law

"Didn’t you say you didn’t want to dance?" Nangong Ran looked at him, a bit confused and dumbfounded, and asked.

"That depends on the person." His eyes fell into her pupils, surprisingly gentle.

Nangong Ran’s heart started pounding, oh my god, is he pulling out his moves again?

Still in a daze, he was already leading her into a graceful dance.

Nangong Ran was slightly surprised. She thought Di Mingchen, being the rough guy he is, wouldn’t be able to dance at all. It turned out that not only could Di Mingchen dance, but he also danced quite elegantly, very gentlemanly.

In his lead, she felt very comfortable, but the intimacy between them was really, um, even more than kissing.

Why does she feel shy out of nowhere?

Nangong Ran was embarrassed, suddenly remembering that dream from before. Was it really a dream, or did she actually kiss him?

Nangong Ran lowered her eyes and thought for a few seconds, suddenly looked at him, and said, "Second Brother, when I was drunk before, did you come to the lounge?"

Di Mingchen was taken aback, then nodded, "Yes."

"Did you do anything?" Nangong Ran blurted out, "No, I mean, besides bringing a cup of water and covering me with a coat, did you do anything else?"

As she spoke, she couldn’t help but blush a little, hurriedly adding, "Or rather, I didn’t do anything to you, right?"

Di Mingchen’s eyes darkened, suddenly recalling what she said, "I don’t like him, I hate him."

"No." Di Mingchen ultimately denied it.

"Oh." Nangong Ran lowered her eyes again. So it really was just a dream!

Luckily it’s just a dream!

Wait, why is she dreaming of Di Mingchen? Even dreaming of kissing him, geez!

The two danced without speaking, the atmosphere inexplicably delicate and awkward. Nangong Ran, a chatterbox, surely couldn’t stand this silence.

So she tried to make some conversation, "Second Brother, why don’t you dance with Dan Lingling?"

"Don’t like her." Di Mingchen replied.

Nangong Ran: "..."

"Then why do you want to dance with me?"

"You’re different." Di Mingchen looked at her.

"Oh." Nangong Ran felt a bit awkward, then asked, "Dan Lingling doesn’t like you and try to pursue you, right?"

"Her affection is too cheap." Di Mingchen furrowed his brows, then smirked a bit mockingly, "She couldn’t reach my big brother, so she sought another way."

"I think so too." Nangong Ran pouted, "She seems so annoying, even being the president’s daughter, such a schemer!"

Di Mingchen’s lips curled up.

"I’ve never liked her. Back when she made things difficult for Sister Xiaxia, her arrogance made me want to puke!"

"Yes, I think so too." Di Mingchen responded gossipily.

Nangong Ran couldn’t help but laugh, blurting out, "Second Brother, you’re so gossipy."

"Am I?" Di Mingchen raised an eyebrow, "I learned it from you."

Nangong Ran stuck out her tongue.

At this point, Gu Qibao and Di Mingjue danced their way over.

Gu Qibao sported a mischievous smile, enthusiastically waving her little hands, "Hello, Second Brother, what a coincidence!"

"Very coincidental." Di Mingchen nodded with a smile.

Gu Qibao looked at Nangong Ran, her smile growing even brighter, and waved again, "Hello, Second Sister-in-law."

Nangong Ran was still foolishly happy, but as soon as she heard Gu Qibao’s address, she almost flipped!

Her face turned slightly red instantly. She instinctively glanced at Di Mingchen, finding that he didn’t even refute it!!!

"Ahem, don’t shout randomly." Nangong Ran glared at Gu Qibao.

Just then, Nangong Jin and Di Jinxuan danced over, and Di Jinxuan, likely overhearing, chippered in, "Hello, Second Sister-in-law!"
