Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Getting Up to Take Wedding Photos

Fang Hao wept, "Could you possibly be any less violent and creepy, son?"

When Gu Qibao woke up, she found herself tightly held in Di Mingjue’s arms, comforted by a calming sleeping position.

She rubbed her eyes and mumbled, "How come you’re sleeping in bed, Mingjue? Have you finished copying the paper?"

Mingjue opened his eyes, revealing no trace of sleepiness. He nodded, "Hmm, yes. I’ve finished."

Qibao widened her eyes in disbelief, "Finished? That was quick!"

Mingjue rolled his eyes, "No kidding. Do you assume I’m as slow as you?"

Qibao: "..."

"Hey, Mr. Di, watch your attitude, your attitude!" Qibao started complaining again.

Mingjue frowned, wishing he could give her a piece of his mind. He had spent all night copying and only finished it at six in the morning. He had only rested for about ten minutes in bed but was still bothered by a question.

Why exactly did he help Qibao copy so much work?

Not only was she sleeping like a log, but she also complained about his attitude in the morning. There must be something wrong with the world if she thought his attitude was pleasant.

Yet, Mingjue didn’t confront her, choosing to stay silent with a frown on his face.

Qibao felt slightly guilty, and pouted, "Why are you staring at me like that? I’m only stating the facts."

Ignoring her comment, Mingjue placed his hand on her flat belly, "Did you get a good rest last night?"

Qibao felt slightly stunned, Mingjue’s demeanor felt so MAN-like, so masculine and responsible.

For some reason, her face flushed slightly. She nodded subtly, "Hmm, it was fine."

Mingjue brought her closer into his embrace, his hand on her belly a steady fortitude, "Let’s sleep a little longer. There’s no need to rush out of bed. Let hubby hold you."

Qibao blinked in disbelief, this guy was genuinely softening his stance. Although his face remained expressionless and his voice still cold, his attitude was not as terrible as before. Even though he was not exactly gentle, at least he was tolerable.

She felt slightly confused.

Was his kind treatment because of their unborn child? Would he still be as terrible as he was if she were not pregnant?

So, the only reason he was being nice to her was because of their child?

Feeling somewhat wronged, Qibao pushed him gently away, "I’m not sleeping anymore, I have school."

"You don’t have to go to school today, we’re getting married." Mingjue said, suddenly opening his eyes to look at her.

Qibao froze, and then slowly widened her grape-like eyes in surprise, "What? Getting married, today?"

Mingjue nodded without uttering a single extra word.

Glancing at his watch, a rare glimpse of joy flashed on his chilly handsome face, "Sleep for another half an hour, then we’ll get up to take wedding pictures."

Fang Hao had proven herself remarkably efficient. She sent him a wedding checklist at six in the morning, indicating that everything was set. All they had to do was get out of bed and get married.

The person to thank the most was Di Mingchen because everything was arranged by his team. After all, manpower was not a problem for him.

Upon receiving the news yesterday night, Fang Hao immediately made a phone call to Mingchen and Mingzhe and instructed them, "Your brother is getting married tomorrow. The wedding is in your hands. I expect to see the most perfect wedding tomorrow morning."

Mingzhe cleverly entrusted the entire burdensome task to Mingchen, which instantly overwhelmed him. Fang Hao, aren’t you just playing with me?
