Love Symphony: Let Your Heart Beat for Me-Chapter 169 - 086 Wen Qin Forever (Qin Yan and Wen He Extra Part 1)
Wen He first met Qin Yan and mistook him for a pervert, beating him up.
This is how it happened.
As Qin Mu went to study at Yanchuan University, Qin Yan’s branch company in Yanchuan was also basically established, so he settled down in Yanchuan.
After starting university, Qin Mu naturally lived on campus, but occasionally would return to Qin Yan’s apartment on weekends. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
On Friday evening, Qin Yan got off work and went to Yan University to pick up Qin Mu and take him back to the apartment. He arrived early, and Qin Mu had just finished class and needed to return to the dormitory to drop off his things, so he parked his car near the entrance of the student street by University Road and waited.
In early autumn, the sky darkened quickly. It was only a little past five, and the sky had already taken on a smoky gray hue, with only a faint afterglow left on the horizon.
After waiting in the car for a while, Qin Yan felt the urge to smoke. To avoid stinking up the car, he put down his phone, opened the car door, and got out to light a cigarette.
In the dim evening light, his clear and penetrating eyes were enveloped in the faint smoke, appearing cold and distant. Suddenly, he heard a rustling struggle not far away, and he waved the smoke away from his eyes and squinted to see. He saw three men of varying sizes dragging a petite girl towards an alley ahead.
From a distance, Qin Yan could only see the girl open her mouth helplessly, but she surprisingly made no sound, and her bound hands kept trying to break free.
Half-dragged and half-pulled, the girl and the three men’s figures disappeared into the alley. Qin Yan stood there, took one last drag of his cigarette, extinguished it against his cheek, and strode towards the alley.
The streetlight was probably broken, and the last afterglow on the horizon had nearly vanished. The night completely blanketed down, making it hard to see directions in this narrow alley.
Feeling his way forward, Qin Yan walked a few steps and vaguely heard some vulgar male voices ahead. He steadied himself and carefully looked, seeing the leading man pulling hard at the girl’s collar with obvious intent.
Having figured out the situation, Qin Yan advanced a few steps without thinking and directly kicked the man. Having grown up practicing judo, he was strong and powerful. Besides, he put all his strength into this kick. The other two men, who were standing on the sides waiting to see the show, didn’t even have time to react to what had happened. They just saw their comrade suddenly fly two or three meters away, his small body hitting the ground with a loud thud, crying out in pain.
They probably didn’t expect someone to suddenly burst out. After staring dumbfoundedly for a while, they didn’t even bother to help the man who had been kicked away. One of them immediately got angry and lunged at Qin Yan.
Without changing his expression, Qin Yan blocked with one hand, quickly flipped the man’s hand to restrain him, then kicked his stomach and tripped him deftly, causing the man to fall to the ground.
The other man saw Qin Yan’s skill and felt a little scared but couldn’t lose face, so he charged at him to try and land a few punches. Qin Yan calmly grabbed his small fist, hooked his foot, and lifted the man’s weight off his shoulder, causing the man to feel a whirlwind before being thrown flat on his back by Qin Yan with an over-the-shoulder throw.
All three had been taken down. Seeing Qin Yan’s tall stature, they knew they couldn’t defeat him, so they got up and fled in panic.
Watching the fleeing figures, Qin Yan wasn’t interested in chasing them. He turned his head and cast his eyes downward to see the girl, arms wrapped around her knees, still breathless and frightened from the shock.
Qin Yan turned sideways, squatted in front of her, rested one hand on his knee, and softly asked, "Are you hurt?"
Wen Nian looked up at him, shook her head, and swallowed.
Seeing her tear-streaked face, Qin Yan felt a sudden heartache for her. He furrowed his brows and asked, "Can you stand up?"
Wen Nian paused for a moment, nodded vigorously while sniffing, and tried to push herself up off the ground. However, not expecting her heel to give way, she nearly toppled forward.
Fortunately, Qin Yan quickly reached out to support her, "Take it slow."
Wen Nian nodded to him to express her gratitude.
Qin Yan glanced at the silent girl, opened his mouth to say something more, when suddenly, he felt a blow to his head and the narrow alley echoed with a shrill female voice—
"Pervert, pervert, pervert! Harassing my sister! Pervert, pervert!"
Qin Yan instinctively raised his hand to block. The woman came at him fiercely, using a snakeskin bag to hit him repeatedly, leaving him without a chance to explain.
Seeing the sudden situation, Wen Nian could only lament her inability to speak. She hurried forward, vigorously pulling at Wen He’s clothes, shaking her head with her mouth open, letting out a mute whimper.
