Chapter 874: Chapter 874: Serenity Time Encounters Seasonal (Part 1)

Ariel Morris thought of something and spoke solemnly to Eleven, "Could you please help me get my phone from the bedside? I need to make a call."

"Sure."

Eleven fetched Ariel Morris’s phone, lit up the screen, and commented lightly while pressing her lips together, "Miss Morris, it seems you have a message."

Ariel Morris took the phone and unlocked the screen. Due to her inconvenience with eyesight, Jorge Saxton had set Ariel Morris’s phone with quick access to messages and dialing. Even if she couldn’t see, she could open the screen to receive voice messages and dial quickly.

Ariel Morris opened the message, and the deep, pleasant voice resonated in the room, reaching her ears.

"Take good care of yourself. I didn’t go to send you off, but when you return, no matter the storm, I’ll be there for you."

Holding the phone, Ariel Morris couldn’t help but let a hint of a smile slip from her lips and her eyes softened.

"Eleven, let’s go downstairs to eat something. For his sake, I must take good care of myself so he won’t worry."

"Alright." Eleven’s voice held a touch of cheerfulness.

Eleven assisted Ariel Morris in going downstairs and settled her at the dining table to eat.

"There’s mille-feuille and sea cucumber mince porridge before you. Have some more."

Eleven handed the spoon to Ariel Morris.

Ariel Morris nodded.

The porridge had a delicate and soft fragrance upon entering her mouth. Ariel Morris ate more, along with the mille-feuille, managing to drink half a bowl of porridge. Soon, the discomfort in her stomach surged again, and she pushed the bowl and chopsticks away before throwing up.

Eleven immediately grabbed a tissue and stepped forward to care for Ariel Morris.

Standing nearby, Aunt Glenn noticed Eleven’s swollen and injured spots, her gaze shifting slightly—wanting to speak but hesitating. Her eyes landed incredulously on Eleven’s face, full of pain and worry.

Ariel Morris’s nausea eased after a few minutes of upheaval. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Aunt Glenn handed Ariel Morris a cup of warm water to rinse her mouth.

After rinsing, Aunt Glenn looked at Eleven’s swollen hand, her lips moving gently to remind, "Miss Morris, please eat a bit more so we can be at ease. Eating so little isn’t good for you or the baby. These dishes are something that... Eleven spent all afternoon in the kitchen preparing..."

"Aunt Glenn, it’s none of your business, go downstairs!"

Eleven abruptly interrupted Aunt Glenn, his voice somewhat clear, making Ariel Morris momentarily dazed.

Aunt Glenn was swept by Eleven’s cold gaze and dared not interfere further, promptly retreating.

Eleven looked at Ariel Morris before him and gently asked, "Would you like some more? Is it not tasty?"

Ariel Morris shook her head, her stomach feeling extremely unwell, "It’s quite delicious; this meal is the best I’ve had in days. Also, there’s something familiar about this mille-feuille, but perhaps I’m overthinking," Ariel laughed lightly, "Maybe it’s because I miss him; this mille-feuille was once something he brought me, which makes it feel familiar."

Eleven’s brows subtly moved, "What else would you like to eat? Tell me, and I’ll... I’ll have Aunt Glenn make it for you."

"I don’t want to eat anything right now. By the way, Eleven, where is your hometown?" Ariel Morris asked.

Eleven looked at Ariel Morris’s slightly pale face and slowly replied, "City C."

"What a coincidence?" Ariel Morris’s face lit up with a hint of joy, "Do you know Scenic Hill High School?"

"I know," Eleven nodded, looking at her happy face, continuing the topic, "I attended Scenic Hill High School."

"Alumni?" Ariel Morris grew even happier, "How is this such a coincidence? I’m also from Scenic Hill!"

Eleven pressed his lips together, his deep voice resonating, "Probably because Young Master Saxton saw in my information that I attended the same high school as Miss Morris and also came from City C, therefore, he hired me."
