Aidan Sutherland stood up and grabbed his car keys to drive Daisy.

Then, the company will be in the capable hands of Aidan and Daisy, and Uncle Sutherland and I can enjoy our retirement peacefully, spending our days with grandchildren."

Aidan gave Daisy a meaningful look and spoke lightly, clearly in a good mood, "Daisy and I will do our best to make sure you can hold a grandchild soon, right Daisy?"

Daisy smiled faintly, bowed her head slightly, and said softly, "I’ll be leaving now, Uncle, Aunt Sutherland."

Daisy walked out of the Sutherland Family’s gate and got into her car. She had been delayed a few minutes by her farewell. Dawn’s car was no longer parked by the gate. Daisy’s eyes darkened slightly, starting the car, and sped away.

Daisy accelerated her car quickly and, minutes later, finally saw Dawn’s car. However, it was parked on the side of the road with the engine off. Daisy’s eyes showed a hint of confusion, and she braked to park her car parallel to Dawn’s.

Daisy slightly leaned her head out the window and smiled, "Second Brother."

Lost in thought while smoking, Dawn immediately turned at the familiar voice, seeing the red Porsche parked beside his car, in which sat the girl from his unfulfilled love story, the girl he loved but couldn’t express his feelings for.

Daisy’s gaze fell on the cigarette caught between Dawn’s index and middle fingers, she frowned slightly, and the fingers resting on her steering wheel stiffened.

Her Second Brother never smoked, at least she had never seen him smoke. It seemed that the words from Selah Sutton and Aidan tonight had truly hurt him.

Pain stirred in Daisy’s heart. She faintly smiled at Dawn and spoke gently, "Second Brother, come down and chat with me? It’s still early to go home, I can’t sleep yet."

Dawn paused, knowing Daisy was a light sleeper who could only fall asleep very late, and she slept lightly and could wake easily. Now, being just past eight in the evening, she wouldn’t be able to sleep if she went back so early. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Dawn’s eyes deepened as he nodded at Daisy, opened his car door, and stepped down.

Seeing him step out of his car, a gentle smile bloomed on Daisy’s face. She pursed her lips slightly, her eyes deepened. She opened the drawer of her car and took out the packaged gift inside, then stepped out of her car.

The bright night sky filled with twinkling stars, had entered the chill of late autumn.
