Lord Game: I Have 100 Million Talents-Chapter 132 - 95: Void Tide
The mindless Void Creatures just kept hacking away at the duo’s iron-hard "shells," completely unaware that their efforts were futile.
HISS!
’Who would’ve thought!’
’These two little guys actually have the potential to be main tanks?’
While Qin Feng was quipping to himself, he aimed toward the two Steel Ants and unleashed his Arrow Rain skill.
In an instant, the dense concentration of Void Creatures in that area was wiped out, and his Bloodthirsty Layers began to climb at an incredible rate.
But this respite was short-lived.
The frenzied Void Creatures had already charged to the base of the wall.
They didn’t act like AI mobs from a game, stupidly clumping together to attack the wall and becoming living targets for the Divine Chosen Soldiers.
Instead, like the freakish zombies from *World War Z*, they began to unconsciously pile on top of each other, using their own bodies to form a sloped ramp leading up to the battlements.
Among them were Void Wandering Soul Assaulters, which were skilled climbers. They bypassed their kin who were building the ramp of bodies and began scaling the smooth, sheer edges of the wall directly.
Fortunately, Qin Feng had already anticipated this scenario.
The Wall Building was inherently designed with "murder holes" and "shooting platforms" specifically for dealing with such enemies.
And so, while the Void Creatures were gleefully playing their game of "Jenga," the Ratman Warriors stationed on the shooting platforms inside the wall took the Black Crystal Spears from their backs. They thrust them through the narrow murder holes, viciously stabbing the climbing enemies.
In moments, the Void Wandering Soul Assaulters attempting to scale the wall were all impaled and killed by the sharp Black Crystal Spears.
But there were simply too many Void Creatures building the ramp of bodies, and all of them were frenzied monsters that didn’t fear death.
Even though the Ratman Warriors could kill most of them, the Void Creatures’ corpses remained, forming a staircase of flesh for the others to climb.
"Quick!"
"They’re coming over the top!"
"Draw swords!"
"Prepare for melee!"
As the chaos unfolded, Qin Feng didn’t use any of his Lord Skills. Nor did he have the Sigmar Combat Priests use their Hymn of Hope skill to help the Awakened Fire Foxes, who were low on mana, recover.
He knew that several waves of boss creatures would appear during the middle phase of the Void Tide.
These crucial skills were his ultimate trump cards, saved for when he would truly need them.
Soon, the "wall of flesh" built from the lives of countless Void Creatures was complete. The rest of the horde immediately swarmed up this "highway" of corpses, rushing madly toward their final destination: Qin Feng.
The Ratman Warriors on the front line drew their Black Crystal Longswords, raised their heavy shields, and stood in grim formation at the edge of the wall, ready for the onslaught.
The moment the first Void Creatures crested the wall, the Ratman Warriors displayed astonishing Combat Skills and flawless coordination. Forming three-man squads and five-man phalanxes, they worked together to cut down the swarming monsters.
Qin Feng also took his place at the forefront, leading by example. With his Flame Shield and expert blocking technique, he absorbed a full one hundred points of effective damage from enemy units.

[Note: The Holy Damage from Sacred Flame is highly effective against Void Creatures. The bonus has been temporarily increased to 100% additional Holy Damage!]
In an instant, the Champion’s Axe in Qin Feng’s right hand burst into white Sacred Flame. The weapons of the surrounding Ratman Warriors ignited in unison, wreathed in the same blazing white fire.
Empowered by a terrifying 120% damage bonus, plus additional Fire Elemental Magic Damage scaling with 20% of their Magic Strength, both Qin Feng and the Ratman Warriors transformed. They became like Asuras born from hell, entering a state of absolute carnage. They mowed down the Void Creatures swarming the wall, leaving none alive in their wake.

[You have killed...]
Watching the system notifications scroll by, a new thought suddenly occurred to Qin Feng.
’This...’
’Mowing them down in melee is actually pretty satisfying, isn’t it?’
’But only if I don’t get hit. Getting hit is no fun at all. I’d rather just hide in a safe spot and pick them off with my Longbow. That’s much easier and more relaxed!’
As he mused, he raised his Flame Shield and once again blocked a cleaving attack from a Void Ratman Warrior.
This very blow fulfilled the condition to charge his next "Righteous Fury"—taking another 100 points of damage.
[You have activated the second round of the "Righteous Fury" skill!]
[Nearby allied units not yet affected by "Righteous Fury" will enter the first stack of the "Righteous Fury" state! Melee damage increased by 20%! Duration: 5 minutes!]
