Longevity, starting from being a chicken raising servant-Chapter 2515 - 241: Buddha’s Son

Within the Lotus Buddha Country.

The Buddha light is gentle.

Buddha sounds pervade.

Lotus, necklaces, white elephants, golden dragons, Garudas, treasure vases...

In his eyes, there is neither sorrow nor joy, no trace of attachment, as he declares the Buddha name; the voice is not loud but reaches the ears of all monks present:

"Today I shall enter Nirvana, Nirvana is also the time for me to leave this realm, you all must listen well to the teachings of the Future Buddha Lord..."

All monks nod in agreement.

Tianshang Buddha Lord nods slightly, then proclaims:

"Where is the Future Buddha Lord?"

As the words fall, a barefoot monk, dressed in a pure white monk's robe, steps out one by one from the depths of the temple.

This monk looks handsome, with red lips and white teeth, a cinnabar mole at the center of his brows, and ears reaching past his shoulders.

At this moment, he clasps his hands and bows respectfully to the Tianshang Buddha Lord in the sky.

Tianshang Buddha Lord nods and says:

"I will today perform for you the initiation of the treasure vase, secret initiation, and wisdom initiation; your Buddha heart is insufficient, therefore cannot perform the initiation of sentence meaning."

The monk responds respectfully:

"I do not seek comfort for myself, but wish all beings could be free from suffering."

Tianshang Buddha Lord slightly nods and says:

"Among the ten lands of Bodhisattvas, you have cultivated to the ninth land 'Good Wisdom Land'; I will perform the wisdom water initiation for you, so you may enter the Dharma Cloud Land and achieve Buddha Fruit."

With a gentle hand, he lightly places it on the Buddha's son's head, while pinching with the other hand, a treasure vase image instantly forms in his palm.

Water from the vase falls onto the Buddha's son's head, reciting:

"With the sweet dew dharma water, pour on the Buddha's son's crown, allowing the Buddha Seed to never break."

In the distant void, gazing at the scene within the Lotus Buddha Country, several Mahayana remain silent, only that figure shrouded in black smoke could not help but voice:

"The Ascension is made so troublesome."

True Man Gai furrows his brow slightly, then his expression calms down, explaining indifferently:

"Taoist Friend, please be patient."

"The initiation method of Buddhism requires multiple rituals, this should be the method of four initiations, corresponding to the Incarnation, Reward Body, and Dharma Body, finally pointing directly to one's true nature."

"In the past, every Buddha Lord of the Eastern Luli Buddha Realm, during Nirvana Ascension, would use this method to pass on their inheritance to the Future Buddha son."

"Though whether this Supreme True Buddha is the same, I do not know, but presumably at the time of Tianshang Buddha Lord's Ascension, it should also be the moment when the Future Buddha son thoroughly receives the inheritance."

"Then, it will be our opportunity."

Hearing this, the figure shrouded in darkness, though slightly frowning, still nods.

Eyes then fall onto that Lotus Buddha Country.

Another lengthy and complex ceremony.

True Man Gai sweeps his gaze over the Buddha Country, yet his brow furrows.

Heavenly Monarch Chao, sensing True Man Gai's change in expression, due to many years of acquaintance, a thought stirs in his heart, he says in a low voice:

"Taoist Friend Gai, what's wrong?"

True Man Gai does not hide and says with a furrowed brow:

"I have heard the Supreme True Buddha has countless Buddha citizens, why is it that only so few appear here?"

Heavenly Monarch Chao ponders and says:

"Perhaps because there are too many people, making it inconvenient to appear?"

True Man Gai slightly shakes his head:

"I always feel like the number of people appearing is somewhat too few."

Heavenly Monarch Chao, upon hearing these words, his mind turns slightly, showing a trace of seriousness on his face, he says:

"Do you mean there is a deceit involved?"

True Man Gai thinks for a moment, then speaks softly:

"Whether there is deceit is uncertain, but since this is after all the Supreme True Buddha's most important affair, having precautions is naturally normal."

"Moreover, during Ascension, the Guiding Thunder Tribulation is certainly overwhelming, if all Buddha citizens appeared here it would rather be troublesome, causing their minds to be disturbed."

Speaking, he glanced at Bai Lechan, who always sat with closed eyes behind him, and that slight unease in his heart was again set down.

It was at this moment, that finally a movement arose from the Lotus Buddha Country.

But seeing above the Reclining Buddha, the void suddenly started rotating silently, very quickly in that void, clusters of thunder light surged.

The cultivators hidden in the distant void witnessing this could not help but all become invigorated.

"Tianshang is about to Ascend!"

True Man Gai quickly says:

"Everyone prepare."

Present were all late-stage Crossing Tribulation cultivators and early and middle-stage Crossing Tribulation cultivators, all with solemn expressions.

That beautifully dressed Lady Hua and the figure shrouded in darkness, including Heavenly Monarch Chao, all had solemn expressions.

Only Bai Lechan remained with eyes tightly closed, meditating behind True Man Gai, seemingly unaware of any movement.
