Long Live Summons-Chapter 877 Washing Mother's Feet For The First Time
Chapter 877: Washing Mother's Feet For The First Time
Chapter 877: Washing Mother’s Feet For The First Time
Yue Yang hadn’t seen the Drunken Cat Yu Sis three days after the overheard conversation.
Instead, it was the little panda girl Niu Niu and the naughty girl Yue Shuang who had a lot of fun.
At night, the panda who was usually obedient had climbed onto Yue Yang’s bed and hugged him, repeatedly annoying him along with Yue Shuang. He rarely ever had the chance to live a peaceful life like this ever since his traversing between worlds. During the day, he accompanied the two little girls to go absolutely livid, but from time to time, he taught them all kinds of knowledge in between, which made them learn about many things without realising it. Sometimes, he would go to the kitchen to help Si-niang wash some vegetables or cut up some meat. Although that messy behaviour of his caused Si-niang to drive him out of the kitchen more often than not, he still enjoyed every second of it.
His most exaggerated behavior was to personally bring over a large basin of water. Then, together with Shuang Er, they would wash Si-niang’s feet together.
He said it was to teach Shuang Er to have the habit of filial piety.
Si-niang couldn’t resist their good intentions, so she had to agree.
There was Yue Yang on one side and the little girl on the other, washing Si-niang’s feet for the first time.
Although Si-niang smiled, she wiped her tears from time to time, especially when she looked at the little girl Yue Shuang. The young girl was sweating profusely and her body was covered with water. Yet, she insisted on continuing, and this made Si-niang eager to embrace the little girl as she cried tears of affection.
Drunken Cat Yu Sis hid in the corner and peeked for a long time.
Finally, she disappeared silently.
Yue Bing came back rather quickly, accompanied by Xue Wu Xia and Princess Qian Qian.
She didn’t know that the ancient rune was reserved for her by Yue Yang, so she reported to her older brother excitedly that her two sisters-in-laws had helped her absorb the rune’s energy, providing her with a new breakthrough in her realm. She felt that she was taking advantage of her brother, but she was still a little proud. Since her brother wanted to absorb the ancient runes’ energies, she naturally couldn’t let her brother go too far. Helping Yue Yang to absorb the rune’s energies was one of the only things that she could offer help with.
This was also considered progress, wasn’t it?
That’s what Yue Bing thought in her heart. If she knew that the ancient rune was reserved for her by Yue Yang, she would have definitely been anxious.
But it was precisely because she wouldn’t accept the power of the ‘Ancient Forest’ that made Yue Yang keep it a secret from her.
“It seems like something is wrong!” Princess Qian Qian, who had keen sixth senses, expressed suspiciously.
“No,” Student Yue Yang sweated a little.
“Are you hiding something from us?” Xue Wu Xia also used her criminally lawful smile to interrogate him. In fact, she has the Book of Truth, which meant that as long as she could see Yue Yang, she would be able to know a bit of the truth. Her words were just meant to back the Tigress up only.
“I wouldn’t dare do so even if I had the guts that could fill an entire water tank!” Student Yue Yang quickly explained that he was actually a good boy who did good deeds without leaving a name to refer back to.
“The problem is that you are bolder than the sky!” Princess Qian Qian saw through these little tricks at a glance.
“Brother, confess and we’ll be lenient,” Even Yue Bing joined the interrogation enthusiastically.
“At this point, I can’t hide it any longer. In fact, I agreed to their forced marriage and it’ll be in three months. You know very well that I am a lone ranger and I am used to being solo, so how was I meant to go against these senior and sly wolves? I had no choice but to raise my hands and surrender,” The expression of ‘I’m not to blame for being a traitor’ was portrayed on his face.
“I see it turned out to be so, congratulations brother!” Yue Bing felt happy for her brother from the bottom of her heart as she congratulated Princess Qian Qian and Xue Wu Xia.
“Are there going to be wedding candies soon?” The only reason the little girl thinks that marriage is good is because there would be a lot of wedding candies to eat. When she heard that her brother was about to get married, she was almost drooling.
“Little girl, what would you know of marriage? Stand aside!” Yue Bing reprimanded.
In fact, there was always a blank space in her mind when it was about what it meant to get married.
Marriage was something that Yue Bing had never thought of— it was too far away for her anyway, for someone who worked hard to cultivate and follow in the footsteps of her elder brother. However, she knew that if her brother was officially married, then her several sister-in-laws would just be wedded officially… Was that the only difference? Even now, her sister-in-laws were living and practicing together with her brother!
Yue Bing didn’t think about it too much, she just felt that what the elders asked to do was also beneficial to her brother, so it must be right.
When Princess Qian Qian and Xue Wu Xia heard the news, they still couldn’t help but become embarrassed as their cheeks flushed despite having caught wind of the news early on.
Xue Wu Xia recovered faster from the embarrassment.
She nodded, expressing her acquiescence and calmed down.
On the contrary, Princess Qian Qian, the rogue Tigress, felt that Yue Yang might have agreed a little too quickly and did not ask for her opinion. But perhaps it was because she felt that he had spoken out in public, not giving her time to have some form of mental preparation.
Raising a fist that was as fair as snow, she aimed a punch at him, words untrue when she said, “Who promised to marry you?”
Yue Yang grabbed her fist, “Tigress, do you still want to run?”
At this time, Qian Qian’s face was so red that her neck was burning as she glared at him in embarrassment, “The kids are watching! Let go!”
Yue Bing hid her face when she heard the words, pretending not to see them, “I didn’t see anything…”
The little girl was not as cooperative as her. She secretly opened her fingers and peeked, laughing out, “I see, my brother wants to kiss sister Qian Qian but I saw everything. Haha, I’m going to tell my mother!” Yue Bing did not wait as the little girl yelled. She lifted her up and suppressed her smile, “Little girl, what sort of chaos are you trying to create? Your brother isn’t kissing anyone, so don’t speak of nonsense! By the way, I brought candied fruit, but if you want to eat it, I will give it all to Niu Niu!”
“I want it, I want it all! At most, you can just give Niu Niu a small portion of it… Wow, my sister is the best!” The little girl Yue Shuang immediately showered her sister with flattery.
Princess Qian Qian, who was forcefully kissed by Yue Yang, rolled her eyes angrily.
A heroic female swordsman with a flushed face, half ashamed and half annoyed, plus a little bit of a girlish anger. “How does it feel?”, one may ask, but Yue Yang couldn’t describe it. He only felt that Princess Qian Qian, the rogue Tigress, had never been this adorable!
He couldn’t help but laugh, and the even more embarrassed Princess Qian Qian bit him madly.
Xue Wu Xia stood quietly on the other side of Yue Yang.
Looking at this beloved man quietly, she doesn’t need to take the initiative. She just waited momentarily for him to turn around and kiss herself gently.
Even if a bunch of girls expressed their desire to stay by his side, he will not forget about the one who was waiting for him wordlessly.
Because of fate and destiny, he couldn’t own all of himself either as there is always a place for him by her side. Just like in the deepest parts of his heart, he always has himself.
Yue Yang turned his face and pecked her lips gently, as if he was a dragonfly dancing on water.
The thoughts of the two people exchanged heartily in this light kiss.
“How jealous! He is so gentle with Sister Xue— completely different from how he was with me!” Although Princess Qian Qian felt that the way of making Yue Yang a strong kiss was more suitable for herself, she wouldn’t indulge in him so much had he kissed her the way he did with Xue Wu Xia! However, seeing the boy being so affectionate, she couldn’t help but protest.
“Come on, Tigress, I will compensate you well!” Student Yue Yang took out a pair of small pig figurines, eager to embrace each other.
“No one is missing out!” Qian Qian punched the boy and blasted the boy directly.
In the corner, the shadow of Drunken Cat Yu Sis disappeared in a flash.
Whether it was Princess Qian Qian, who was keen on the sixth senses, or Xue Wuxia, who had an infinitely minded perception, it didn’t matter. They probably noticed anyway, but there was no way out for her.
Everyone should have their own little secrets, shouldn’t they?
At night, Yue Yang and the little girl held out the basin again and wanted to wash Si-niang’s feet.
Yue Bing turned red all of a sudden— even after she grew up, she had never washed her mother’s feet! She rushed up excitedly, squeezed between her brother and sister as she started watering her mother’s feet while wiping her tears. The pink and fair-skinned face of hers was now blurred with tears.
Even Princess Qian Qian and Xue Wu Xia were dumbfounded, let alone herself.
Xue Wu Xia only reacted after a long time before she nodded to Princess Qian Qian. Then, she knelt down gently, taking the towel in Yue Yang’s hands to gently wipe Si-niang’s feet.
Princess Qian Qian was still a bit hesitant. She waited until Si-niang, who was hiding her face and sobbing, hugged Shuang Er to her knees before she looked at Yue Yang again. Then, she saw him nodding as she slowly squatted down, taking it with a trembling hand while taking over Yue Shuang’s position… Yue Bing cried and became a tearful child. While sobbing, she scrubbed her mother’s skin. Her movements were rather awkward yet gentle. She didn’t dare to use any strength as if it would be considered an err to use the slightest bit of strength.
In the shadow of the corner, Drunken Cat Yu Sis covered her face with her hands.
Without saying a word, she had already burst into tears.
On the second day, Princess Qian Qian and Xue Wu Xia both bid farewell to Yue Yang.
“I just want to go back and have a look, so don’t get me wrong. I don’t miss that old guy in any way!” Princess Qian Qian just didn’t admit defeat. In fact, since she met Yue Yang, her father-daughter relationship with Jun Wu You had already eased by a lot. Her words clarified that she would not forgive her pesky father, but besides telling Yue Yang of her own changes, she was no longer the stubborn Princess Qian Qian in front of others. After a series of battles, it made her realize that if she doesn’t treat her father better now and a big battle breaks out again, there will come a day where her father would leave her forever. Time would not rewind, and she wouldn’t be able to have the chance to be filial.
“Is it really unnecessary for me to accompany you back?” Yue Yang looked at Princess Qian Qian and asked Xue Wu Xia again.
“Next time, let’s forget about it today. We are not going back to stay for a long time, perhaps just lazing around for just a day or two and feeling the atmosphere back at home for a little bit,” Xue Wu Xia gave Yue Yang a hug and whispered in his ear to remind him, “I will continue to interrogate you when I come back; don’t think that you really concealed it from us yesterday.”
“No, don’t touch me!” Princess Qian Qian struggled desperately, but Yue Yang insisted on holding on to her. Although Yue Bing and Yue Shuang were hiding their faces and not looking at them, they both peeked through their fingers and this made her feel the most embarrassed. Isn’t this setting up a bad example for the kids?
“Your Highness, my customs are like these— meeting gifts were all hugs and kisses!” Student Yue Yang said that he must abide by the customs.
“Why don’t you hug Fatty Hai?” Princess Qian Qian gave him a fist contemptuously.
“Nonsense, these custom kisses are only for beauties!” Yue Yang snorted coldly.
“Where was this custom learned?” Princess Qian Qian was speechless.
“He probably invented it himself!” Xue Wu Xia knew Yue Yang best.
“Then I will invent another one… whoever decides to present such an unpleasant custom in the future will deserve a beating!” Princess Qian Qian wanted to punch Yue Yang again, but who would have thought that he had been on guard this time. He opened her fist and snatched her into her arms as they stood chest to chest, face to face before they kissed each other deeply. If it weren’t for Princess Qian Qian who bit onto Yue Yang’s lips, he wouldn’t have let go.
“Children, don’t look,” Yue Bing smiled and covered Yue Shuang’s eyes.
“It’s just a kiss, what’s so special about it? I kiss my brother every day!” The girl Yue Shuang expressed disdain as she clung onto Yue Yang and kissed him twice. It was loud and unusual, her innocent behavior causing everyone to laugh.
In the corner, another peeping shadow flashed past.
Faintly, there was the sound of laughter that couldn’t help being suppressed.

[TL note]:
New update!! Like I said, will be posting at least 3-5 times this month, but honestly I’m kinda taking it easy for a bit. I didn’t realise that Welp and I have been translating and proofreading daily to keep up with the demand, so we’re kinda pacing things slowly for the month a bit. Thanks for understanding!
And also, it’s been like two months woohoo! At this point there’s more new characters that are emerging so I’m kind of making the glossary instead of referring to it. I’ll try my best to provide them as accurately as I can, so let me know if any of the names seem awkward or don’t flow all that well!
At any rate, enjoy the chapter! Hope you guys have a great day/night ahead of you!
