Wearing his uniform, a combination of white polo, black pants, and black shoes, Jay went out of his apartment with his bag slung on his shoulder.
Yawning, Jay looked at the time on the watch on his wrist.
6:19 AM.
Jay’s first exam today is related to legislation, a major subject, and it will start at 7 AM.
From his apartment to the school, it takes 10 minutes. With that, he still has plenty of time to review before the exam starts.
Letting out another yawn, Jay can’t help but complain.
"Why does the exam have to start so early?"
Sighing, Jay shook his head and opened the Cube menu while he’s walking.
Since he’s been focusing on his studies, Jay hasn’t used the daily experience he got these past few days.
Thanks to that, he managed to gather quite a few experiences.
He has 7 experience points available for distribution at the moment.
"Hmm, where should I put this?"
Jay stared at it with a thoughtful look.
Suddenly, he paused and a lightbulb seemed to lit up inside his head.
"So far, I’ve only been adding experience points to the skills that the Cube rewarded me with."
"Because of that, I’ve been stuck with the thought that I can only add experience to the skills that are visible on my panel."
"But what if I use my experience points to gain a skill?"
Jay thought that he’s it’s a feasible idea.
Since what his experience points does is for him to experience something like he’s training it himself, he can think of a skill and use his experience points on it.
In that way, he can learn that skill and it’ll probably appear on the panel once it reaches the threshold for level 1 skills.
Jay’s eyes shine brightly as he thinks of this.
But the next moment, Jay furrowed his brows.
"Then, what skill should I try to learn?"
While thinking of an answer to that question, Jay didn’t stop walking and soon arrived at his school.
Heading to room 205 in their department building, Jay found that only a few of his classmates were there at this time.
Jay randomly sat down on a chair right beside the window.
"Hmm? Is it just me or is everyone looking at me weirdly?"
Just as he sat down, Jay noticed that a lot of eyes were gathered at him for some reason.
They are talking among themselves while looking at him, clearly showing that he’s the topic of their conversations.
Jay’s muttering seems to have been heard by someone sitting near him and answered his question.
"How could they not talk about you? You’re really popular nowadays, you know?"
It was a female voice and Jay is pretty familiar with the owner of it.
Turning to look behind him, Jay saw a girl with white skin and small stature.
Her most defining feature is her eyes that easily show her ethnicity.
A japanese. Or at least half Japanese.
"Oh, Akira, I didn’t notice you there." Jay said.
Akira has been one of Jay’s friends since his first year here in college. Because of that, the two of them are quite close to each other.
Akira stood up from her seat and sat down on the chair right next to Jay.
Turning her eyes to Jay, she stared at him for a while without speaking.
Furrowing his brows, Jay can’t stand it anymore and asked,
"What? Why are you staring at me as if I borrowed money from you?"
Akira rolled her eyes and slapped his shoulders lightly.
"I was just looking if you changed or something. After all, you just suddenly got all popular on the internet."
Shrugging, Jay smiled smugly, "What? Isn’t it because I’m very talented that’s why I got popular?"
"Why? Are you envious?"
Akira looked at Jay seriously and asked, "Why would I be envious of you?"
"Well... didn’t you tell me before that you want to become an actress?"
Jay answered hesitantly.
Akira paused and suddenly sighed depressedly.
Then, she didn’t say anything else and just lay down on her desk.
Looking at her, Jay thought he said something insensitive and scratched his head.

For such a problem, Jay doesn’t have a solution.
The atmosphere around them grew silent and they just did their own things.
Jay took the time to review more about the test while Akira just closed her eyes to sleep more.
Time passed and it was soon 7 AM.
Right on time, the professor entered the classroom.
Without any delay, the exam immediately started.
Jay read the exam sheet in front of him seriously to gauge the difficulty of the exam.
But the next moment, his face suddenly brighten up.
’This is great!’
’Most of the questions are actually included in those things that I reviewed!’
’With this, I’m confident that I can score high in this exam.’
Jay picked up his pen and started answering the exam without hesitation.
On the other hand, Akira beside him stared at the paper in front of her blankly.
Time continued flowing and soon, an hour passed.
"Okay, everyone, stop writing. The allocated time for the exam is gone, pass your papers."
Immediately, the classroom started getting noisy.
"Ahh~ the exam was so hard. I didn’t even know what to write."
"This is why I hate exams. I might not even score half of the total."
"What can we do? We’re scumbags when it comes to academics after all."
