"What did you discover?" Lu Ke asked excitedly, feeling Xu Yi might have uncovered the secret of the beasts’ Defense Power.

"Remember the Energy Shield we talked about?" Xu Yi asked back.

"I remember, you mentioned perhaps there’s a giant Energy Shield around the island, isolating everything outside." Lu Ke said, still puzzled by its connection to the beasts.

Then Lu Ke immediately realized.

"Are you saying the Fierce Beasts have Energy Shields, causing us to fail at breaking their defenses?" Lu Ke quickly said, then shook her head, continuing, "But that’s not right; we initially broke through Fierce Beasts’ defenses with Military Daggers, but the species we encountered these past few days were different, hence couldn’t break the defenses."

"Energy Shields vary in strength; when our power exceeds the Energy Shield, we can break through," Xu Yi said with a smile.

"Our attacks get dispersed and absorbed quickly upon reaching them. Bullets and blades, lacking concentrated force and having broad contact areas, get absorbed and dispersed more readily. Only when our force concentrates at one point, exceeding their tolerance range, can we successfully break their defense and penetrate their skin." These were insights Xu Yi ’saw.’ At one instant, he even ’saw’ the direction of the force.

"Steward, he truly discovered it; definitely worthy of our attention! His findings match our existing research outcomes. Life forms on Planets 1 and 2 indeed can form strange energy fields, akin to an Energy Shield device’s function."

The ’Steward’ nodded.
