"Maybe they won’t come," Xu Yi said, turning his head and walking into the house.

It’s getting dark; it’s time for a bath.

"Is it because they think we have no choice in team formation?" Lu Ke asked. She had learned from chatting with Wang Jin that was why they moved in so early.

He had the system, which granted him basic Wood Art skills. Even with that, crafting a cart wasn’t easy, especially as carts weren’t that mobile in the forest. Yet Qin Fan and Qin Chao managed to make one.

Judging by the wheel ruts, the cart was loaded with many things.

"You made it," Xu Yi greeted them with a faint smile.

"Yes, finally arrived; I thought it would take until at least late into the night," Qin Fan said with a smile. They were only a few kilometers away from Xu Yi and Lu Ke’s camp.

"Well done, let’s head back to camp. Lu Yao and the others have been here for a few days and are surely eager to see you," Xu Yi said, glancing at Lu Ke beside him.

Qin Fan and Qin Chao nodded, indicating no issues.

Then, Xu Yi and Lu Ke returned to the camp.

Lu Yao and Wang Jin had already returned and were chopping wood in front of the tent.

"You tell them; I’ll prepare the hot water for a bath," Xu Yi said, taking the giant bear’s reins.

So, Lu Ke conveyed the news about Qin Fan and Qin Chao to Wang Jin and Lu Yao.

Since they couldn’t assist each other, they didn’t go to find Qin Fan or Qin Chao. After all, they were close by, at most an hour away.

After Xu Yi and Lu Ke finished their baths and cooked mutton soup, Qin Fan and Qin Chao’s cart arrived.

They went to sleep and anticipated midnight’s arrival.

After 0:00, a new challenge might begin.

Resting early seemed to be the consensus.

After eating some dry food, Qin Fan and Qin Chao also went to sleep.

This day, Xu Yi didn’t go to bed early for Spiritual Meditation; instead, he prepared to use his Storage Space.
