Because of the nature of his point gain for crafting, Aoni had a rather easy time accumulating enough progress points to upgrade his ever-expanding collection of Accumulators constantly, and by the time he finished, while he may have a fat stack of orbs…his points…were drained.

'Give and take… It's fine, not like I actually lost anything in doing this… Aoni ruefully mused while watching the zeros attached to his points slowly vanish until he was in the single digits.

It was on that day, 21, that Aoni finally got back to work siphoning off Energia from the Seal.

---

Like water flowing downstream and into the ocean, time slowly trickled by, one day turned to 10, with little variation between them.

Some days, he would study the never-ending supply of spells; others, it was crafting blueprints, but certain things stayed static during this time.

Wake up bright and early, Eat, play with Glacia, send her and Anthony off to explore, siphon, eat, siphon, eat, read for an hour or two, bathe the floof, then sleep.

Luckily, even though Aoni had fallen into a routine, the points never stopped rolling in, especially once Ant decided to clear out the surrounding monsters who had been hiding since their arrival weeks ago.

At that point, points began flowing in, fattening his Wallet by the minute.

As for the collaboration between his Siphoning passive and the Orbs, well, that wasn't something complex to figure out. Basically all Aoni was required to do was set a path for the Energia to flow that wasn't his body, and just like that, the pace at which he broke down the Seal was expedited drastically.

What would have originally taken months to pull off was about to be finished in less than two weeks.

And today, only the 31st day since coming to the City, the final rune of many was flickering like a candle in the wind to Aoni's eyes alone.

"Almost there; get ready, Ant. Glacia, I want you to stay behind a bit; I don't know what's on the other side, but just in case theres some traps let Anthony be the first one to check it out." Aoni commanded as some shuffling went on behind him, no doubt the others following as he said.

"So kind of you to use your Brother as a meat shield," Anthony grumbled while manifesting a flaming aura around his body and preloading several spell circles that hovered above his fingers.

C…CRAC….CRACK!

Then, with a sound akin to glass shattering, the final rune on the stone door dimmed, setting off a few notifications in Aoni's Attribute Notice.

Ruuuuuummmbllee

"Door's opening, Aoni, step back," Pushing past his baby brother, Anthony rushed forward and took the vanguard position. At the same time, Aoni did a back tuck roll and bounced to his feet before slamming both hands down and generating several flying swords made of ice that circled his body.

Slowly, the sound of hundreds of stone gears shifting could be heard on either side of the door as it cracked down the middle and inched open at a painstaking snail's pace.

Then, with a loud thud and massive dust cloud, the door, which had been annoying and difficult to open over the past month, finally revealed its secrets.

"Holy shit…"

"No way…"

"GAOOO!!"

{'TWEASURRRE!'}

The brothers shared a similar sentiment; however, the floof, who was swiftly snatched up from the ground before she could charge into the literal TREASURY, was clearly too excited by the discovery.

Sprawled out before them was a massive yet well organized room which could only be described as a bank vault meets grocery store.

Bathed in soft light, thanks to an array of Energia Stones, were tens of thousands of weapons, artifacts, and tomes, but that wasn't even scratching the surface of its contents, only what was near the front of the Treasury.

Yet even that was such a grand display that it drew shocked exclamations from Anthony and Aoni.

Even more surprising was the fact that everything present seemed to be in pristine condition, entirely free of dust and seemingly kept away from the decay caused by time itself.

"Ant…are we…?" Unable to finish that statement, Aoni's control over the Ice Swords collapsed, causing them to disintegrate into nature as he securely moved the floof to his chest like a child holding a stuffed animal.

"Rich…yeah, I think YOU are…hah…right what am I doing, gotta check for traps," shaking his head and clearing his mind of surprise, Anthony began chanting numerous spells, each one with the sole purpose of identifying any machinations that would prevent them from entering the Treasury.

After nearly 30 minutes without any kind of feedback, Ant turned and shot the floof and his brother a bright smile.

"As far as I can tell, nothing; it seems like the Seal was the only means of keeping people out..."

And so, the chaos began.

---

" GAO GAO GAOOOO!"

"Ant, LOOK, ATK BOOSTING PILLS!"

"HAHHAHAHA, BRO, THERE'S EVEN A WIDE COLLECTION OF NODES,"

"OH SHIT, this staff looks AMAZING!"

"OI, GLACIA DON'T EAT THE PRODUCT!"

"OoOOOooO"

"No, it's not all Food, you damn Glutton!"

"Formation plates, Array Plates, Spell Sheets, AHHHH! IS THIS HEAVEN?"

"Outta my way, NERD!"

BANG

"Owww, watch where you're going, idiot!"

"Gao gaooo gaoo GaooO!"

Like a group of hooligans on holiday, the trio ransacked everything that had been stored in the Treasury for tens of thousands, if not more years, as an entire kingdom's worth of wealth suddenly fell into their hands.

"GLACIA STOP EATING THE DAMN PRODUCT!"

"Meep!"

---

For several hours, long into the night, Aoni, Anthony, and Glacia collectively took inventory of every item held in the colossal Treasury before packing it away in one of the many hand-crafted chests.

"I guess we can finally go home now, right?" Aoni asked as he put the last of the chests into his inventory, which was now vast compared to before.

"I don't see why not; Glacia and I have practically turned this entire ruins a hundred times over, so there isn't much left for us to do…plus…we might end up missing the deadline, so unless we go back soon, Mom will gut both of us with her carving knife." Shivering at the thought, Anthony noticed his brother wearing the same expression as himself.
