Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!-Chapter 178 : So, What Do You Want To Do Now?
After ordering copious amounts of model kits that were once out of his reach, Aoni finally got up, took a quick shower, got dressed in one of the many casual yet brand-new workout outfits he'd bought at the Bureau, and headed downstairs.
However, the moment he appeared at the foot of the plain wooden staircase, his Mom stood there wide-eyed with a hint of sadness.
"My boy…he's all grown up; look at you, Aoni, all defined and manly;* sniffle* makes me feel like I've lost my cute little son." Wiping an imaginary tear from her cheek, Lea rushed forward and pulled her youngest son off the stairs before leading him to the kitchen table.
"Now that you're a traveler, you must eat breakfast every morning. No more of that skipping meals crap you always do; now, come, come, tell me all about your adventures in Genovia, along with your Territory."
"Did you meet any suitable daughter-in-laws for me yet?"
"It's fine if you don't want to bring me grandchildren right now, but in a couple of years, I expect a bundle of joy at my doorstep."
Chattering away like an old aunty, Lea pushed Aoni into a seat and fetched a normal breakfast, some eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, with a big glass of orange juice, and sat beside him with expectant eyes.
"Uh…well, where do I begin? So, how bout this…I should have listened to you." Stabbing into a sunny-side-up egg and shoveling it into his mouth, Aoni paused for a second and looked up at his Mom to see what kind of reaction she had.
"Go on, tell me what I was right about this time." She asked with a scary smirk.
'There it is, the scary smile that looks like a hungry shark…' Flinching back slightly, Aoni broke off eye contact.

"You told me I should pack some warm clothing, and I ignored it and almost ended up in a pretty bad situation because my Territory is on a giant snowy mountain surrounded by nothing but cold air and white." Looking back down at his food and munching away, Aoni began telling Lea everything that WOULDN'T get him in trouble.
Meaning he strategically forgot to mention all the times he almost froze to death or how many risky endeavors he'd taken part in.
That and he never once mentioned the actual abilities of his Attribute.
He wanted to; after all, this was his loving yet terrifying mother who had raised him and all. However, when it came time to explain it, Aoni was stopped by a certain floating chat box.
| It is ill-advised that the User reveals the full extent of their Attribute at this time, trustworthy or not; there are always eyes and ears watching and listening. The same goes for the User's Summons |

'Sigh, I hate lying to my Mom and Cammy. Anyone else is fine, but I actually feel bad about those two not being informed.' With that thought, he then delved into how he'd been fortifying the area around his Flume and what types of items had been handed over to the Bureau.
"My son, a Crafter, that's a great profession, baby; I'm sure you will make a great living from now on, and although it seems you are a bit restricted with what you can make due to the requirement that you need to personally collect the materials you use, from what you've told me about your Territory you should have no problems crafting up some useful things to sell at the Bureau." Wearing a beaming and proud smile, Lea examined her son with love.
Being a Mundane who married a Traveler, it was no surprise that she was informed about the inner workings of their lives and livelihoods, so while Aoni would rattle off information, none of it was lost to the woman, not to mention the fact that Aoni wasn't the first traveler Lea had given birth to.
"I know it may seem a bit early to ask this, but what are your plans for the immediate future, Aoni? Since you just came back, I expect you want to relax a bit, but you need to hit the ground running, or else you'll lose out." Glancing down at Aoni's empty plate and noticing that he still seemed to be hungry, Lea quickly dashed to the kitchen, filled it with another helping, and returned before asking.
"Well…the only things I've really put thought into is that I want to pay off my Government Aid as quickly as possible, then I plan on tackling Cammy's."
"No, leave that to your Dad and Me; it's our jobs as parents to provide for our children and…"
"Mom, stop; I've heard this speech hundreds of times; you have nothing to feel bad about; you and Dad do your best, but none of us are blind to the situation." Placing down his fork and crossing his hands on the table, Aoni stared deeply at his Mom for a few seconds before continuing.
"Unlike my siblings or even Dad, I am the first in the family who didn't get a Combat Based Attribute, and as such, I must help out where I can since making money is the lifeblood of mine."
"Heck, even if I just sell the gathered materials from my Territory, I can make a huge chunk of money; for example, I want you to look at this…" Tapping on his Commu a few times to open his bank account, Aoni leaned across the table and flashed the numerous digits to his Mom.
"583,000 CRYPTODOLLARS!" Jumping to her feet and grabbing hold of her son's arm, Lea screamed in a shrill voice as her eyes darted between the banking information and her son.
"Yes, Mom, I already plan on paying off the Mortgage so that you and Dad will have extra money in your pockets. I know you guys always wanted to give us the best life, and while there were some hardships, we never truly wanted for anything."
"So that's why I'd appreciate being able to help give Cammy anything she could ever ask for, all the things we wanted growing up but knew were out of reach. This isn't a failure on your part by any means, but since it's within my capabilities, I want to make sure it happens."
