"They are the Guards that were accompanying your brother. To think that they would really try to kill you..." Astralious watched the first attacker fall to his knees, recognising that face.

"They weren't trying to kill me. It's a paralysis poison," Elias took the dagger from the first attacker and tossed it aside.

"What are you? Where is the real Elias...?" The Guard knew that he was on his last breath.

His heart was impaled and an unknown energy was wrecking the rest of his body. Even if he escaped, he couldn't survive.

He had already accepted his death. But even in death, he asked one simple question. Who was Elias?

He had seen the boy even in the past. But there was nothing special about him. Even as he was treated so badly by the family, he couldn't even raise his voice in the past.

Even after coming to the Academy, he had only received an Auxiliary Class of useless Architect. So how was he able to do all this?

It was as if he was not Elias in the first place, but a completely different person who was just wearing the mask of Elias that he had seen before.

"I am..." Elias spoke slowly and the man raised his eyes, even as blood trickled down the corner of his lips. "...the person who will bring the Ashborn Family down from their high throne..."

The man's body trembled violently, hearing the answer. A mere child was talking about bringing the Ashborn Family down, when it was ruled by Silas Ashborn?

If anyone else had said it, he would have thought that it was a laughable joke. But when looking in Elias's eyes, there was a scary unease in his heart that made him unable to laugh at this supposed joke.

He saw the blade of the sword flash before his eyes. He slowly closed his eyes, right before his head flew through the sky, falling on the ground with a thud.

Astralious was also standing frozen in place, staring at Elias. The words that he had just spoken, kept echoing in his heart like drums being violently played.

The boy that he was worried might hand him over to the Ashborn Family, was actually talking about destroying the Asbborn Family? The family had ruled over multiple galaxies.

The number of Destroyer Class Warriors that they controlled was uncountable. And even if someone managed to get past them, there was an insurmountable mountain standing at the peak... Silas Ashborn.

Elias sent the sword back, absorbing the essence of the fable back within his body. He picked up the lifeless bodies by their collars and tossed them inside his shadow realm, including the head that was still rolling on the ground.

"Do you think it's salvageable?" he asked, looking back at Astralious after finishing.

"The situation? At this long, I don't th-"

"What situation? I'm talking about this carpet. I am asking if you think it can be salvaged?" Elias asked, observing the blood stained carpet with a frown.

"You are more worried about-" Astralious spoke, only to stop midway, feeling deja vu as if he had spoken similar words before.

"Sigh, I think it can be cleaned well if you put in some effort." He answered, finding it harder and harder to understand Elias.

One moment, he was talking about wiping one of the strongest families, and the next moment, he was worried if a carpet could be cleaned.

One moment, he was like a god looking down on earth, and the next moment, he was back to being a human.

His emotions truly felt like they were all over the place. Astralious wondered if it had something to do with the mergers with the fables that he put his body through.

....

Two hours had passed.

Astralious stood with his hands on his waist, covered in sweat. There was a look of satisfaction on his face when he looked at the result of his hard work.

"Were you a carpet cleaner before becoming a Constellation?" he asked. "How did you know so many tricks?"

Before him was a wet carpet that looked spotlessly clean. There was not even a single sign of it ever being stained with blood in the past.

"Of course. It was my main job. I earned a lot from it," Astralious grumpily answered.

His response made Elias burst out laughing. It was a rare laughter that stunned Astralious. He had seen occasionally smile on Elias, but this was the first time he saw him laugh.

In the past, he had even started to wonder if it was possible for Elias to show such emotions. But now that he truly saw Elias laugh, a smile also spread on his lips.

For the first time in a long while, Elias looked like a normal child with a normal life, and not someone who had to walk between a thin line of life and death every day of his life

Elias wiped the tears that formed in the corner of his eyes from laughing. "You must be the wealthiest Constellation with this kind of side business."

"I was indeed the wealthiest Constellation, until another Constellation opened a stall next to me. That bastard ate all my business. I tell you, there are no loyal customers in this business."

Astralious placed a hand on his chest, feeling as if he had truly been wronged by customers who went to his competitor.

"Don't worry. I will teach that bastard a lesson. How dare he steal business from my friend." Elias answered lightheartedly, as he started rolling the carpet to take it back.

The progress of the merger on his storage was still only ninety percent, which left him with a lot of time in his hands.

"Friend?" Astralious mumbled, watching Elias watch away.

"Hmm? Did you say something?" Elias looked back at Astralious.

"Nothing. I said nothing at all." Astralious followed after Elias.

Even though it was only an imaginary spiritual form while his real self was still trapped, he still felt like he was a real person, especially when talking to Elias.

He followed after the boy.
