Chapter 2061: Chapter 2061: The Yellow Emperor

"Haha."

The Prophet let out a laugh, but quickly followed it with a cough.

"You have countless reasons to kill me, but only one reason not to." The Prophet looked at him. "Hiddy."

Hiddy!

Julius Reed was very fond of Hiddy, and under his influence, Osher Reed was equally captivated by Hiddy.

Julius Reed and Osher Reed had many interactions five thousand years ago, a time when Osher Reed had already inherited Julius Reed’s memories.

To drive Osher Reed away, Julius Reed forgot many things from those years.

It came at a great cost.

The mention of Hiddy showed that the Prophet was indeed a bit flustered.

Except this panic did not show on his face.

"Killing you, Hiddy wouldn’t know. If I avenge you then, wouldn’t it move her even more?" Julius Reed said leisurely, sitting on a chair.

"So according to you, I must die today?" The Prophet let out a light chuckle, struggling to sit up.

"No one outside can be faster than you, and you now possess Julius Reed’s body, making you even more formidable. If you wanted me dead today, I’d really have no chance of living."

The room fell into silence.

"He wants your body." Julius Reed stood up, turning his back to the Prophet. "We are on the same team; how could I kill you? However, I think it’s a good opportunity, perhaps there’s a way to use this chance while you’re still alive."

Upon hearing this.

The Prophet was momentarily stunned and then laughed, "Osher Reed, you really scared me! I was wondering why you were swayed so easily."

"Hmph." Julius Reed calculated in his mind, had he not taken out Osher Reed, the Prophet might not have survived tonight.

Osher Reed was ruthless and wouldn’t spare the Prophet because of Hiddy.

"Unexpectedly, this fellow has been researching and ended up focusing on me." The Prophet tried to get out of bed, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get down.

"If there’s anything you need to do, I can help." Julius Reed spoke up.

He thought the Prophet should have a solution.

After all, apart from relying on the divine, the Prophet himself should possess foresight.

A mere tool wouldn’t have survived until now.

"Open the cabinet in my room," the Prophet weakly pointed to a cabinet.

Julius Reed walked over and opened the cabinet door!

Inside, there stood a person.

A person identical to the Prophet.

"Don’t be surprised, I foresaw this day would come." The Prophet said, and the person inside the cabinet opened their eyes.

"So, can you tell the difference?" This time, it was the person inside the cabinet who spoke.

"What is this!" Julius Reed asked with a frown.

He scrutinized them closely; the two were identical.

"Actually, this is also my test for you." The person in the cabinet spoke again, "If you truly wanted to kill me, I would erase you in this room! If you confessed, I would trust you and continue to help you become the strongest Martial Artist."

While the person in the cabinet was talking, the Prophet on the bed remained motionless.

"So, which one is you?" Julius Reed observed closely but couldn’t see a single flaw.

"The one on the bed." The Prophet walked out of the cabinet, still exhausted and weak. "I’ve lived for thousands of years, having numerous encounters with gods. Do you think creating a puppet that looks exactly like me over the millennia is difficult? It’s not hard at all. It’s very simple."

The Prophet walked over to the bed, the person there no longer moving.

Sitting awkwardly on the bed.

Eyes vacant and lifeless.

"Take it, use this body to earn his trust. What a pity the Yellow Emperor is a bit impatient. I had you go out to teach him a lesson so that I could test you. Congratulations, Osher Reed, you passed my test." The Prophet patted Julius Reed on the shoulder, calmly saying, "Even though you’ve occupied the body of the Holy Master, you’re not a match for the Yellow Emperor. I tested you. You won’t blame me, will you?"

"Only those who pass the test can earn trust." Julius Reed nodded, his lips curving into a slight smile, "Of course I don’t mind."

Yellow Emperor?

The name sounded very familiar.

But to shed Osher Reed’s memories, Julius Reed erased many of his own past memories.

Consequently, he couldn’t remember who the Yellow Emperor was!

Though the myths passed down indeed had a Yellow Emperor.

Phoenix!

But the versions differed greatly.

Pruitt Wilde was undoubtedly slain by Julius Reed.

And yet, he lived again now.

"Now, kill him, give him to the Yellow Emperor, and then wait and see whom the Yellow Emperor will bring! This time, his resolve is clear." The Prophet narrowed his eyes, and Julius Reed could sense the murderous aura emanating from him!

This was true fury.

"I forgot to ask you." Julius Reed suddenly spoke up, "What is your name?"

He could be sure Osher Reed never asked.

The reason was simple, the Prophet had always been called the Prophet, why would Osher Reed suddenly ask the Prophet’s name?

But now, the situation was different.

"You know about Hiddy and me. But until now, I still don’t know Hiddy’s real name." Julius Reed rephrased it.

"Haha!" The Prophet chuckled, shaking his head, "Names are but fleeting clouds. The world called me the Prophet, and from then on, no one asked my name. As for my name, it’s really not important. Hiddy... Phoenix Sinclair."

"Phoenix Sinclair?" Julius Reed murmured.

Last name Phoenix!

Phoenix!

"Alright, then I’ll be on my way." Julius Reed drew his sword, swiftly slicing the throat of the puppet Prophet on the bed, picked up the body, and left.

He walked through the narrow corridor, passing through the laboratory once more.

"Wow! What a ruthless person!"

Those along his path, seeing Julius Reed carrying the Prophet’s body, immediately ran ahead to report the news.

Soon, Ilia Danvers personally came out with a group to investigate, delightedly saying, "Haha! We’re about to usher in a new era! The moment our five-thousand-year destiny dissipated, the new era already began. Come, I’ll take you down."

With that, he instructed someone to take the body and led Julius Reed to an underground lab.

The equipment here was very advanced, many were technologies yet unavailable in the ordinary human world.

"Wait here for a while. Experts will arrive later." Ilia Danvers said, then someone placed the Prophet’s body in a large gold coffin!

Click!

The laboratory lights turned on!

It was a massive emitter.

Like a satellite.

Before long.

Footsteps echoed from outside again.

"Look, the experts are here." Ilia Danvers straightened his robe, personally going to greet them.

The door opened!

A group walked in.

The leader wore a black robe with a red hood.

"The Prophet is dead?" the man began.

"Dead. Right here." Ilia Danvers pulled a cigar from his pocket, putting it in his mouth.

"Truly surreal." The man gave a self-mocking smile, removing his hood. "The Prophet, dead as well?"

"Nether Emperor?" Julius Reed was secretly astonished.

Shadow Kims became an expert?
