Chapter 111: Leader..

Darius looked at the man; his eyes were filled with tears as he tried to hold Liu from falling.

"Mr. Liu, I didn’t know you would be there. I would never want to stab you."

Our young warrior held the man in his arms as tears flowed down his cheek; he didn’t know what was happening.

"This is what happens to the ones with the powers of Chaos, you don’t want to use it, but there is no way for you to escape it."

Deliri was mocking Darius, his voice floating around.

"You think you will get away with this?!" Our young warrior was looking around, and there were still no signs of Deliri anywhere.

"Show yourself!" He cried out with the dying man in his arms.

"And if I do show my face, what will you do?"

Deliri appeared right in front of him. Darius didn’t waste any time swinging Ve’xa, but when he hit Deliri, it was only a fog that he had hit.

"Just like I thought, you are only using your muscles now and not your head! Don’t worry, when I separate it from your neck, you won’t need it anymore."

Darius let out a roar. He was aiming for Deliri, but the being was faster than him.

Deliri’s ominous laughter filled the entire place, he was having the time of his life tormenting Darius.

"So tell me, warrior..."

The voice was still hovering around. Darius, still holding Liu’s lifeless body, couldn’t even think straight.

"When are you going to give up?" The being asked stood right behind Darius, his hand lifted high.

"Face it, you are as worthless as they come, and you don’t even know what you are doing! I think you should have understood that by now, you have no place here or anywhere!"

Darius wasn’t even trying to fight back anymore; he silently sat there, about to accept his fate.

Holding Liu, he couldn’t even think of anything else.

’What if he’s right?’

Darius looked at Liu, his mind telling him that there wasn’t any other thing he could do with those powers.

’I failed to even see him, now because and these powers. His family will not see him again.’

Deliri had a smile on his face, his blade up high as he saw Darius lower his guard.

"Yes, let it feed on you. There is no other way for you to make it out of here!"

Deliri was about to bring down his blade, but he was pushed back by a powerful thrust of crimson flame.

He looked up to see that the flame had come from the outside.

"Bastard Knight!" Deliri growled, looking at Pryion, who seemed to be able to sense him from far.

The knight was looking at them, his eyes on the Abyssal monster as he sent the attack.

"I hope my liege would be able to break from that stronghold and win this fight." He spoke slowly, looking at them.

"What’s going on in there?" Michael asked Pryion, the golden-haired warrior was standing on top of dead Orcs.

They had slain all of the hundred Orcs that were making their way out of the forest.

Pryion turned to the warrior, he had nothing to say, but then.

"Lord Darius is facing that creature in what seems to be a pocket dimension. And if nothing is done to aid him in the smallest way, then we will lose him."

Pryion was looking at Darius and Deliri, he could see the problem they were having in there.

The knight then turned back to the forest, he could feel something bigger than the Orcs coming.

"We have to be alert as well, these creatures aren’t alone."

The knight could feel them, they were two powerful beings amongst the horde of Orcs.

Theo and Raya had dealt with the Orcs on their side, they regrouped with Pryion and Michael.

"Something stronger is coming, I don’t know what, but it feels like it’s bigger than the Orcs." Raya was looking ahead, she could feel the immense mana coming from the forest.

Theo turned back to look at Darius.

"Be okay, Darius."

Theo turned to the battlefield. He knew that there was going to be something coming for them, and it didn’t look like it would play nice.

"We have to be ready for whatever that is." Theo held his spear close. He looked to his side and saw Raya, Michael, and Pryion.

He knew that they surpassed him in strength and powers, but then.

He had to be the one to take charge.

"Listen, I know that you have no right to listen to me or even do as I say, but I want you to know that Darius is battling something powerful, and there is no telling if he is going to be able to handle it alone."

He spoke slowly, but his voice was serious.

"So I want you to fight with me and make sure that we take this thing down, so we can help Darius in any way we can!!"

Theo finished talking, he expected them to say things like they were not going to take orders from him.

But instead, it felt different.

"I see why he chose you to lead instead of taking the mantle for himself." Raya smiled. She could see why Darius said that he wasn’t fit to lead Theo. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"Talk about Charisma!" Michael smiled. he turned to the forest. "And I thought there were no more good warriors with spirit out there anymore."

Theo was shocked, he could see that they were not trying to make him feel happy or anything like that.

"Truly, you are a good leader. I see why Lord Darius trusts you so."

Pryion moved forward, unsheathing Isakador. The bright crimson flame covered his hand, and the blade was bright enough to burn anyone close to him.

"Now let us show them what we are made of!" The knight spoke, igniting the fire in the hearts of the warriors.

Fired up, Theo walked front with a determined look on his face and yelled.

"Let’s go!"
