Landing on Her Heart: Mr. Warner, Let's Get Back Together!-Chapter 197: Registering Their Marriage at the Civil Affairs Bureau
"Put away your crooked thoughts, I’m not interested in you at all!"
Elias Warner frowned and continued walking forward.
Sylvia Lowell pursed her lips and followed behind Elias Warner.
She would never give up any opportunity to get close to Elias Warner.
Moreover, they were getting married tomorrow.
He said it in front of Renee Perry, that he was going to marry her.
Uncle Ford happened to come up, but before he could speak, Elias Warner said to Uncle Ford, "Send Miss Lowell back to the Lowell Family!"
"Elias, we’re getting married tomorrow, what’s going on with me going back to the Lowell Family today?" Sylvia Lowell tugged at Elias Warner’s coat.
She was cautious, fearing Elias Warner would get angry.
"Whatever, just don’t bother me!"
Elias Warner walked straight into his room and shut the door firmly.
Sylvia Lowell glared at Elias Warner’s room and stomped off.
Uncle Ford stood awkwardly on the spot.
What shocked him even more was that Sylvia Lowell actually said she was going to marry his young master?
How come he had never heard of this?
When did this happen?
Getting married to Miss Lowell tomorrow?
Uncle Ford was utterly shocked.
If his young master was getting married, what about Miss Winter?
Late night
Sylvia Lowell couldn’t hold back and went to Elias Warner’s room alone.
She didn’t believe there was a man who could refuse an offering woman.
When she saw Elias Warner, Elias Warner was sleeping in the room.
Sylvia Lowell quietly lay beside Elias Warner and reached to hold him.
After all, Elias Warner had been in the military.
Sylvia Lowell’s action immediately made him vigilant.
With a flip, he threw Sylvia Lowell over his shoulder and onto the bed.
"Ah!" Sylvia Lowell shouted loudly.
After feeling the pain, she fiercely slammed into the bed.
"Elias, it’s me!"
She clutched her body which ached from the fall and groaned.
"How is it you? How did you get into my room?"
Elias Warner was both angry and surprised.
He clearly had locked the room; how did Sylvia Lowell get in?
"Elias, we’re getting married tomorrow, isn’t sleeping together today quite normal? Don’t you want to?"
Sylvia Lowell was still wearing that sheer nightgown.
"Get out! I ask you, how did you get into my room?" Elias Warner coldly questioned.
He now stood below the bed, looking down at Sylvia Lowell.
Sylvia Lowell hurriedly said, "Ms. Perry gave it to me..."
Elias Warner was speechless; his mother would go to any lengths to make him marry Sylvia Lowell, even giving her the key to his bedroom.
Leaving him with no temper at all.
"Get out!"
Elias Warner pointed to the door while staring at Sylvia Lowell.
"No, I won’t go out!"
Sylvia Lowell pouted, looking very aggrieved.
This expression, if seen by men, would arouse sympathy in any man for her pitiful demeanor.
But Elias Warner was unmoved.
"Don’t force me to lay hands on you!" Elias Warner said coldly.
Among women, Sylvia Lowell’s figure was not the best, though considered good-looking, naturally incomparable to Annelise Winter.
But to Elias Warner, seeing her only made him nauseous.
Sylvia Lowell showed no intention to leave.
Elias Warner directly lifted Sylvia Lowell and tossed her outside the door.
And then locked the door again.
He coldly said to Sylvia Lowell, "If you dare open my door again, just you try it!"
The icy voice made Sylvia Lowell tremble.
She dared not continue pestering Elias Warner.
She knew what kind of person Elias Warner was; surely he would do what he said.
"Elias, Why do you hate me so much? I really want to know, am I really inferior to Annelise Winter in your heart? Where am I lacking? Am I not as pretty as her, or is my family background not as good?"
What Sylvia Lowell didn’t understand was, in the socialite circle, it was always others chasing after her, wanting to be friends with her.
Even some sons of rich families pursued her to be their girlfriend.
How come with Elias Warner, it didn’t work?
Elias Warner didn’t even seem willing to take a glance at her.
"Elias? Do you like Annelise Winter’s pole dancing? I can learn it too, isn’t that okay? I really want to be with you, can you try to like me a little? I’ll do anything you want!"
Sylvia Lowell stood at Elias Warner’s door.
Passionately shouting.
Elias Warner inside the room could also hear Sylvia Lowell’s question.
Feeling unbearably annoyed.
How could this woman be so tormenting?
Where did she get the confidence?
"Get lost, I want to sleep!"
Elias Warner said coldly.
No answer from Sylvia Lowell.
"Elias, we’re getting married tomorrow, how can we not be honest with each other? I want to have a good talk with you, is it really that hard?"
"Let me tell you, what I said to my mother today about marrying you, couldn’t you tell I said it deliberately? I never intended to marry you, how could I possibly marry you?"
Elias Warner felt he was being somewhat too compassionate towards Sylvia Lowell by saying these words.
Sylvia Lowell’s heart suddenly felt stabbed.
"Elias, do you mean that what you said at the dinner table means nothing at all?"
She was unwilling and pressed further.
"I don’t care what deal you made with my mom, but I will never marry you. No matter what you do, I will not marry you. You think just because you settled things with my mom, you can marry me? Don’t forget, the one who is supposed to marry is me, my mom can’t decide for me!"
Elias Warner continued.
"Elias Warner, you’re too much, how can you go back on your word like this? On such a big matter, you can go back on your word? Although the Lowell Family is not as powerful as the Warner Family, insulting the Warner Family in this manner will not go unpunished. You think I don’t know why you won’t marry me? It’s obviously because of Annelise Winter! You think I don’t know what you and Annelise have been up to? If you push me, I’ll expose what you two have done, aren’t you at all afraid of the Warner Group’s stock price plummeting?"
Sylvia Lowell threatened.
A wicked smile played at the corner of her mouth.
"Go ahead, do whatever you want. If I were afraid, I wouldn’t be Elias Warner. But I must remind you, your Joy Lowell can’t bear the consequences of offending me!"
Elias Warner really hated being threatened.
Sylvia Lowell had threatened him more than once or twice already.
Hearing Elias Warner’s words, Sylvia Lowell finally couldn’t hold on and crumpled to the floor crying.
After a long time, she got up and slowly headed towards her room. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
At the corner of the room, she saw Renee Perry.
Spotting Sylvia Lowell’s red and swollen eyes, Renee Perry quickly approached to show concern.
"Sylvia, why are you crying? What happened? Did that brat Elias bully you again?"
Renee Perry stepped forward, supporting Sylvia Lowell, and wiped away her tears.
"Ms. Perry, Elias said he won’t marry me tomorrow, he will never marry me!"
Sylvia Lowell was shattered.
"Don’t cry, trust me, I will take care of this for you!"
Renee Perry continued, "Just rest peacefully here tonight. By tomorrow morning, I will definitely make sure you marry Elias. Even if I have to bind him, I will bind him to marry you. Stop crying, you must seize this opportunity!"
Renee Perry whispered in Sylvia Lowell’s ear.
Hearing Renee’s words, Sylvia Lowell instantly smiled.
Five minutes later
Renee Perry called Annelise Winter away, allowing Sylvia Lowell back into Annelise’s room.
She opened the bathroom door, took a shower, and even applied Annelise’s usual makeup products.
She dressed herself up nicely and even wore Annelise’s pajamas.
Although Annelise’s pajamas were a bit tight on her, they were bearable.
She lay quietly on the bed, seemingly waiting for something.
Ten minutes later, the door opened, and Elias Warner staggered directly to Annelise’s bed.
He leaned over and pinned "Annelise" beneath him.
"Annelise, I’m so hot... I’m uncomfortable... help me!"
Elias Warner was tearing at his clothes, while also removing "Annelise’s" pajamas.
Seeing that Annelise didn’t resist but proactively wrapped his neck.
This made Elias Warner a bit uneasy.
He lowered his head, tightly grasping the hand "Annelise" hooked around his neck; when he looked closely, he discovered the person lying in bed was not Annelise Winter but Sylvia Lowell.
At this moment, Sylvia Lowell emitted the same fragrance as Annelise.
She was even wearing Annelise’s pajamas.
"Sylvia Lowell, how can it be you? So, this is another trick by you and my mom again!"
Elias Warner angrily pushed Sylvia Lowell away.
He left the room immediately.
Sylvia Lowell flipped over, crawled out of bed, staggering as she grabbed Elias Warner’s hand, trailing behind him.
Although he didn’t like her, it didn’t matter because she liked him.
She hugged Elias Warner tightly from behind.
"Elias, you must be feeling very uncomfortable, right? Let me help you!"
"Go away!"
Elias Warner pushed "Annelise" away and strode off.
Leaving Sylvia Lowell alone in the room.
The next morning
Annelise Winter woke up in the guest room.
Yesterday she was inexplicably called out by Renee Perry, and strongly advised not to return to her room.
Claiming Elias Warner and Sylvia Lowell lost control and engaged in an indescribable incident in her bedroom.
She didn’t believe it at first, not knowing what scheme Renee was up to.
But upon reaching her bedroom door, she heard Sylvia Lowell’s voice.
"Elias, be gentle!"
This led to panic in her heart at that moment, she fled back to the guest room.
As expected, things turned out as she had imagined.
Just hadn’t expected it would happen in her room.
Was it deliberate by Elias Warner?
Deliberately making it for her to see?
Annelise Winter staggered back and lay on the bed, not knowing what time she fell asleep.
She woke up just now.
She remembered Renee Perry saying yesterday that she had to attend the wedding of Elias Warner and Sylvia Lowell.
Before regaining her composure, Renee Perry stormed in.
"Annelise, I’m telling you, Elias and Sylvia have already gone to the civil affairs bureau to get the certificate, don’t appear before Elias again, and don’t disturb their lives anymore. Do what you’re supposed to do, I will arrange your requests soon!"
Renee Perry glared at Annelise Winter.
