Assistant Xu did not care about her demeaning. He stood up with a smile and hurried off to make her that cup of tea, hoping that she would drink it. This time, he planned to maybe add some laxatives to it.
Lucy felt a thrill when she saw assistant Xu stepping out to do as she ordered. To her, this was the sign that she had Jingzhe by the balls. From now on, he would do as she desired.
So, what else could she demand for?
"I want shares in this company." She looked around the office with greedy eyes. "It must be more successful than the cake factory because space business is big business. The dividends for all your shareholders must be satisfactory."
Jingzhe gave her a blank stare.
Lucy’s fingers danced. She did not care, she could taste the victory already. "Let’s see, what else can I get from you....mmm.....my mom really wants those cheese cake recipes of yours. I really don’t understand why your mom could not just be nice and share some of them with us. Why did the two of you have to make things very difficult for us? Why did you have to be so mean? We are all family and family helps each other."
She stood up and slowly walked to the window, soaking in the view of the city. A few things made her scoff greatly. From where she stood, she could see the Phoenix building and Huaqi’s shop.
Jingzhe had been very strategic. He put his headquarters in an area from where he could see his mother when she was in the shop and his crush...or her office. He could not see into Phoenix building as it was a bit far away but just looking at the building alone was close enough to be considered as seeing Jun Meilin.
"She doesn’t even work there." Lucy sneered. "Your obsession with her is a sickness."
Assistant Xu entered the office with the cup of fresh coffee that had chocolate hazelnut, vanilla and milk. "Your tea is here Miss Lucy." he spoke respectfully.
Lucy whirled around, an arrogant smirk on her face. "Now that is what I am talking about." She laughed. "Everyone should know their place. I was going to ask my cousin to fire you but now that you have learned your place, I won’t bother with that."
She returned to the chair and sat down. Then, she crossed one leg over the over and picked up the cup of coffee. She passed it over her nose, sniffing the wonderful aroma of chocolate and hazelnut.
Lucy moved the cup to her mouth and took one sip.
Assistant Xu nearly weeped for joy.
Lucy took three more sips and she sighed. She looked at assistant Xu and said arrogantly, "From now on, bring me coffee every morning. And I want you to deliver it where everyone can see so that they can know how greatly valued by the CEO I am."
She figured that she would secure a great marriage easily as long as the right man saw what she was bringing to the table.
"Cousin," She looked at Jingzhe with the smile of a snake oil salesman. "I am going to need a house. My mother and I cannot continue to live in that rundown motel you and your mother were comfortable letting us stay in.
I also need an apology from your mother for assaulting me. As a matter of fact, I will take her house as the apology gift. I am talking about the house where she refused to let us stay for a single moment.
I also want a billion yuan. It will be a nice nest egg to fall back on."
Jingzhe did not flinch.
Assistant Xu flinched a lot and his body almost slid from the chair. He had never seen a more shameless human being. No....he had. The Mo family. This Lucy was just as shameless as they were
"And an introduction to the emperor." Lucy continued on and giggled. "He is currently single and I should shoot my shot. Imagine how elevated our family will be when I am Empress. Assistant Xu laughed. "I thought this could not get anymore ridiculous but I was wrong. Do you think that you meet the criteria for an empress? First of all, your education is lacking, you have no etiquette."
"I can learn." Lucy screamed.
Assistant Xu added on as if he did not hear her, "You are not from any noble family and you will not be recommended by any noble.

Lucy gasped. She did not expect that all of her dark history was known to them. What did this mean for her blackmail scheme?
"You pursued, seduced and slept with that professor and he still didn’t pass you!!!" Assistant Xu snorted. "Then, you went to his wife and accused him of raping you. You made these accusations in front of his teenage children. Even though he defended successfully and your accusations did not exceed the walls of his house, you ruined his life."
Lucy gasped.
Assistant Xu smirked. "Someone that traded sex for grades wants to be our empress!! I will be the first to sign a petition to stop it from happening. We already have an astronaut that humiliated us with his messy sex life. We do need an Empress to do the same thing."
Jingzhe lowered his eyes, hiding his smile. If only his assistant knew that the former empress had been guilty of that exact same thing!
Lucy grabbed the cup of coffee and gulped down the rest of the contents. Her hands were shaking and her bravado had gone down to zero. She needed to quickly think of what to do next. If they had evidence against her for the professor incident and other sketchy things she had done, it needed to disappear.
Suddenly, she started feeling dizzy, her sight became unclear and her body felt heavy and she was losing control of her body functions. She wanted to move, but she could not. Something was wrong!
