Chapter 380: Giant credit card

While she was expecting the dresses to arrive any day from when he told her about them, she did not think that it would be so soon. How fast had the dressmakers worked to make them?

They were the kind of dresses that were perfected for a month or more before being allowed to be presented to the client.

Had they got any rest while working?

Maybe those dressmakers needed rescuing like the blind nuns that made the veils of purity in the Alps!

Another surprise was how Jingzhe always chose the wrong timing to engage in mischief. Or maybe it was not much surprise. Spontaneity was part of the thrill of their relationship.

Some of his fingers danced over her back, playfully fingering the zipper of the silk top she was wearing. Jingzhe did not understand why someone thought that making a zipper on the back was a good idea.

But he had to give then credit for one thing. The design of the shirt had a way it settled very sexily over Mei Mei’s butt, calling attention to it.

Jingzhe could hear it shouting, "touch me, squeeze me"

So she squeezed, like he was squeezing a peach.

"Now!" Mei Mei shoved him back, and gasping. "You shameless male vixen what are you up to now? This ass needs to sit on the back of a horse for at least five hours today."

A loud knock pounded on the door. It seemed so urgent, like the person on the other side would die of they were not allowed inside.

"Mommy, it’s your favorite princess general Mingzhu." A childish voice called out.

She looked at Jingzhe and gestured at the door with her head. "It’s your favorite frog princess. Hurry up and open the door for her before she threatens to break it down."

"Saved by the bell." He whispered to her, laughing as he turned around to open the door.

Mingzhu rushed inside like a paper bag blown by a strong wind. Immediately, she wrapped her arms around Mei Mei’s thigh smiling cutely.

Mei Mei loved it the most when her daughter was clingy like this. She liked it when Mingzhu cuddled with her or asked for hugs. She guessed that Mingzhu was about to tell her that she would miss her and beg to go horse riding with her. Mei Mei smiled in anticipation, pretending to act pretentious before finally giving in.

"Mommy, you forgot to give me the money card for buying things." Mingzhu said in her childish adorable voice.

In preparation for the vacation, Mingzhu was meant to buy new shoes, clothes, some hats and other things she would need in Australia. She was meeting up with her cousins and they were supposed to go together.

Mei Mei did not know that all of Mingzhu’s smiling, was in anticipation of this. Her heart fractured into a dozen pieces when she heard what her daughter wanted. Not hugs, money!

She looked at her daughter, shaking her head. "Am I just one giant credit card to you?"

Mingzhu had no idea what the statement meant but she knew cards were swiped when shopping. In understanding, her mother being one giant credit card was not bad at all.

It would have endless money, give her hugs and kisses, feed her nice food....

Mei Mei hissed and pinched Mingzhu’s nose. "You have to think about the answer? Wow! Jun Mingzhu. I am not giving you my card you unfaithful daughter."

Mingzhu blinked.

"TA-DA!!" Jingzhe presented a shiny black card to Mingzhu. "Daddy is okay being his baby’s giant credit card."

Mingzhu squealed and jumped up and down in glee.

"Hmph!" Mei Mei huffed. She rolled her eyes and then walked to the bed and snatched her bag as if she was taking it back from a thief.

Walking by Jingzhe and Mingzhu that were already discussing what she was going to buy she cleared her throat and said loudly. "The stingy giant credit card is leaving."

"Bye mommy." Mingzhu answered and all her attention went back to Jingzhe.

Jingzhe carried her and took three steps, reaching Mei Mei. He hugged her, clinging to her the way that she had wish for Mingzhu to do. "Sister, don’t be sad. Money is the thing in the world which is loved universally. Take this as a compliment."

"Mom, work hard today and make lots of money." Mingzhu said.

Mei Mei pushed herself out of Jingzhe’s hug and childishly replied, "I won’t, I won’t. I won’t work hard today or make any money."

Mingzhu blinked, confused. Wasn’t working hard something all the adults did? In fact, even children worked hard too. When her mother sent her off to school, she always told her to work hard by studying.

"Daddy, I am confused." Mingzhu scratched the top of her head.

Mei Mei sniggered. "Yes, I won’t work hard and you will be the one giving me your credit card for shopping."

Mingzhu gasped.

Mei Mei’s smile turned eviler, "I will buy all the pretty skirts and shoes I see. I will buy a thousand plushies and a doll house as big as our house and put all my plushies there and you will never play with them."

Mingzhu’s eyes widened.

"I....ouch!"

Mei Mei felt some pain on her butt and she stopped and cried out on shock. When she turned around, Madam Feng was standing behind her, holding the slipper.

Beside her was Chi Lian, her very own mother. She was shaking her head and frowning exaggeratedly. "You dare to threaten my granddaughter!" Her mother growled.

"She is seeking death." Madam Feng said.

Both grandmothers pushed her aside and started the fight for who was going to buy Mingzhu the prettiest skirt.

Mei Mei sighed and left the room. She had a father that dotted on her. She would find him and ask him to take her shopping.

Did they think that she did not have her own giant credit card? No....she corrected her thoughts. Did they think she did not have her own walking shiny black card?

Grabbing her phone as she walked out of the house, she called her father and started fake crying, "Dad, mom, Mingzhu and madam Feng have bullied me, your little darling.

You have to get justice for me. They are forcing me to go to work and they refused to buy me pretty skirts. They even spanked me with the slipper one hundred times."

She wailed so loudly and suddenly that the dogs were forced to wake up and open their displeased eyes and glare at her.

Up stairs, Chi Lian rolled her eyes. Who said Chi Rui was the only tattle tell of their family? They also had Jun Meilin.

In fact, she was worse because she twisted facts.
