Chapter 232: All the Entertainment news.

Entertainment news headlines the following morning featured all that had happened at the celebrations. For some, the biggest headline was Jun Muyang and his fairy like appearance vs Viscount Huang and his snake crown.

In others, it was the little red certificate that the mighty little peepstar had spoken of. The news of Jun Meilin’s divorce was officially broken. A picture of her in white, holding the divorce certificate as she left the civil affairs building graced some front pages.

It was now the subject of debate as some people were congratulating her and others were debating on how quickly her divorce had been processed.

Mo Liang had already made a strong statement online claiming that he had no idea about it and he was going to contest the divorce.

His lawyers were prepared to fight to the end for the marriage to be legalized again.

In other news, like Phoenix, the front page cover was Emperor Junjie and Kang Zhenzhen. In the middle of the big picture was a crack and on the other side of the crack was Empress Hui.

Whether the Emperor divorced or not, news was news and it sold. People however were wondering why the front page and largest news was not the divorce of the Phoenix group’s chairwoman’s daughter.

Through the divorce, Phoenix media had barely covered the divorce and the things related to it.

But if one left the front page and turned to page three of their physical paper of page six of the on line news, they would find a copy of a restraining order that had been issued by the court, prohibiting Mo Liang from getting within five hundred feet of Jun Meilin and Jun Mingzhu.

Those with sharp eyes had already noticed that Jun Meilin’s daughter was also named Jun. This meant she had full custody. Perhaps the father did not have visiting rights at all.

They would be right. Jun Mingzhe had squeezed the judge and ensured that that Mo Liang was denied visitation entirely.

Mo Liang’s lawyers had not missed it and he was on the phone with the main attorney on his case, screaming threats into it so loudly that little bits of saliva were falling onto the table. He ended the call by slamming the phone on the table with hard force.

Phones did not easily crack anymore, but he succeeded in cracking his. His mother winced like she was the one that had been hit.

Mrs. Sun was on the couch in her son’s hotel room, icing her bruises the old fashioned way. Her face was swollen, she had a small irish sized potato swelling on her forehead. Her lips had been burst.

Her entire body ached as if she had been forced to exercise all night long.

She could have gone to a hospital for treatment but chose not to because she was too afraid to run into another person that wanted revenge for something she had done a long time ago.

Weirdly, the first aid kits in all the rooms of the people they had come with were missing. When she called the front desk, they found all the first aid kits in the hotel gone.

It was as if someone had known that she would need medical aid and decided to hide them all deliberately. So now, she was enduring the pain and waiting for the pain killers she had come with to kick in.

They had not worked last night and the ones she had taken in the morning were not working either.

"Jun Meilin, how dare you!" Mo Liang slammed the phone down again and again.

Mrs. Sun winced again and added to her son’s words through swollen cheeks, "That bitch, she is very scheming. How could she secretly divorce? Just wait until I get my hands on her and that little bitch daughter of hers. I will teach them a lesson."

Mo Liang stood up, grunting and growling. "She thinks, she has won. Dream on Jun Meilin, you will not escape my clutches."

He stepped away for a moment and returned with a laptop. He logged in and connected to smart mirror app which allowed those with accounts to send messages to each other.

Mo Liang was sure that the Empress Mother would have a solution to his problems. If anyone could influence the judicial system and apply the same pressure equal to that of the Jun family or Princess Chi Lian, it was her.

What Mo Liang did not consider was that the Hui family was not as prestigious as the Jun family or the Chi family. They were not even noble!!

He also did not consider the fact that the Emperor had publicly danced with another woman, smiled with her and kind of flirted. People did not even know that the two had planned a friendly date where they would watch a mission impossible movie together.

The influence of Empress Hui was not as great as he thought.

The Jun family was having breakfast together and this time, it was not just them but the Chi’s, Kang’s Long’s and other families that belonged to top nobility.

They were all in the private rooftop dining room on the secret floor. Most people stuck to sitting with their families at the same large or medium sized tables.

There were some like Tao Xiaotong who were not. The ten year old was sticking to Jun Meilin like a second daughter, refusing to make room for a confused Jun Mingzhu. The poor baby was left with no choice but to endure spoon feeding and cheek pinching in her grandma Chi Lian’s arms.

There was a lot of yawning going on in the dining room. Some people were falling asleep in their soup, coffees and pastries.

Mei Mei was not one of those people but Jingzhe was. Nobody had warned him about the private after party the royal family threw which lasted all night long. He could still hear the music ringing in his ears.

That DJ Cat that they hired had been wonderful and he knew how to work the crowd. But the man needed to have mercy on the ears of his audience.

"Ha! you will never believe this." Chi Lian suddenly laughed.

"What?" Grandpa Chi yawned.

Chi Lian yawned too and then she said, "Tang Bingwen or should I say Ma Bingwen has applied to join my newly acquired hospital. Is this kid for real or is he challenging me?"
