Kissed and Seduced By the Most Rough Man in the Village-Chapter 394: The Hidden Treasure
As Su Xiaoxiao approached, the flashlight beam illuminated Lin Hanshui’s face, revealing the panic lurking in her eyes.
But Su Xiaoxiao was focused solely on what she wanted to do, unconcerned with Lin Hanshui’s thoughts.
She reached out to search Lin Hanshui, but the latter, seemingly driven mad, bent down to try and bite Su Xiaoxiao’s hand.
"What do you think you’re doing?!" Su Hongchen shouted angrily.
But Jiang Yexun had already grabbed a fistful of Lin Hanshui’s hair, forcefully lifting her head up.
"Ah!!!" Lin Hanshui screamed in pain.
Yet, Su Xiaoxiao remained unfazed, continuing her search.
"Get your hands off me! There are so many male comrades here watching; how can you treat me like this?! You’re a woman too; why would you want to humiliate me like this?" Lin Hanshui shouted in a mix of anger and desperation.
But Su Xiaoxiao’s movements didn’t stop; she looked at her as if she were an idiot. "You’ve become someone else’s lapdog. That’s worse than being an animal; there’s nothing left to be ashamed of."
Lin Hanshui didn’t expect her words to be so cutting, leaving her momentarily speechless.
However, as Su Xiaoxiao continued to search, Lin Hanshui panicked. "What are you doing? Even if you’re a woman, you can’t touch me! You... you’re not some sort of pervert, are you?!"
"Shut up!" Su Hongchen barked.
Lin Hanshui attempted to struggle, but the next moment, Su Xiaoxiao had pulled out a key from her inner garment.
"It looks like you really are hiding something," Su Xiaoxiao said triumphantly, waving the key in front of her.
Lin Hanshui’s face twisted in fury, her gaze at Su Xiaoxiao filled with murderous intent.
But Su Xiaoxiao didn’t care; she handed the key to Xu Chengzhi.
Xu Chengzhi instantly realized where she had pulled the key from, and the weight of the moment pressed down on him as if a thousand pounds had suddenly fallen on him.
However, he knew how important the key was, so after hesitating for just a couple of seconds, he reached out to take it.
This wasn’t a modern flat key but an ancient round lock key.
His eyes immediately turned to the stacks of boxes.
There were hundreds of boxes here, and at a glance, none appeared to be locked.
"Look for which boxes might be locked," Xu Chengzhi instructed.
The members of the National Security Office immediately responded.
But just as they were about to act, Su Xiaoxiao called out to them, "I think this key isn’t for opening the boxes, at least not for the locks visible on the surface."
"Comrade Su, do you know what this key is for?" Xu Chengzhi asked, surprised.
If Comrade Su knew this much, she would be nothing short of miraculous.
However, Su Xiaoxiao didn’t directly answer but instead asked, "Have you heard of hiding treasures at the bottom of the box?"
"I know, it means placing valuable items at the very bottom of the box. Are you suggesting we move these gold bars out and see if there’s a keyhole?" Xu Chengzhi said, his head spinning at the thought.
With so many boxes and gold bars to check, it would take an eternity to inspect them all.
Yet, if they didn’t clarify the situation immediately, he feared something might go wrong during transportation.
"No, hiding treasures at the bottom doesn’t mean putting things in the bottom of the box. Look at the outermost boxes used for climbing. Once you open the lid, check around; there should be a hidden compartment that can be released to drop one side of the box down. Once that side drops, you’ll find a thin little box at the very bottom of the box, which needs a key to open. The true hidden treasures are kept inside that box," Su Xiaoxiao explained in detail.
Lin Hanshui, who had previously been indifferent about the key being found, suddenly grew anxious upon hearing Su Xiaoxiao’s words.
"Who on earth are you?! Why do you know everything?! You shouldn’t just be an ordinary high school student or a regular educated youth!"
"Comrades, you should investigate her thoroughly; how could she know about these remnants of capitalism?! She must be hiding something!"
