Kissed and Seduced By the Most Rough Man in the Village-Chapter 264: Jiang Family Members Would Really Be So Generous?
Jiang Simeng came back to her senses, her face stiff with anger, but she didn’t dare to speak. Still, she was furious inside. If she could sit next to Su Hongchen now, such a good husband would surely be hers.
Jiang Yexun was such a jerk. He married a city girl and still scrounged food in the team, now wanting to cut off their path to marrying into the city. Jiang Simeng cursed Jiang Yexun over and over in her heart, getting angrier the more she thought about it until her eyes turned red. But after she sat down, she kept her head lowered, so no one noticed her.
Hu Yuezhen was holding her own son, making her nephew stand beside her. As for the family’s two daughters, they were all sent to the kitchen and not allowed to sit at the table. Of course, the small table couldn’t fit so many people anyway. Looking at the three young girls from the Jiang family, she rolled her eyes continuously in anger.
"I want meat! Give me meat!" Jiang Quansheng’s son cried out loudly as Hu Yuezhen put a piece of carrot into his bowl. He hadn’t been doing well these days but knew his grandfather doted on him. Whenever he cried, he got what he wanted. So, as soon as he didn’t get meat, he started his old tricks.
Jiang Guohua frowned, displeased, and looked at his brother. Jiang Guoli felt embarrassed and glared at Hu Yuezhen. "Why are you still sitting here? Can’t you hear the child crying? How do you take care of kids?"
"He’s not my child! My son is so well-behaved!" Hu Yuezhen muttered softly but didn’t dare to sit any longer. She quickly held her own son in her arms and reached out to grab her crying nephew.
But the child, crying while watching her moves, slapped Hu Yuezhen’s hand away furiously. "You bad woman, don’t touch me! You just don’t want me to eat meat, you damned bad woman! I want my mom, wah wah... I want my mom!"
"Shut up!" Jiang Guoli, annoyed by the noise, kicked his crying grandson away. The boy fell heavily on the ground and didn’t come to his senses for a while. Hu Yuezhen hurried to pick him up. He was about to cry again, but Jiang Guoli glared at him fiercely, "Cry again, and I’ll beat you to death!"
The little troublemaker was scared and shut his mouth immediately, though his small body still shivered.
Su Hongchen frowned and withdrew his disdainful gaze, then smiled at Su Xiaoxiao. "Fortunately, you were a very obedient child; otherwise, I wouldn’t have managed to take care of you."
"Was Xiaoxiao raised by her brother?" Jiang Yexun asked, interested.
Su Hongchen proudly straightened his chest. "Of course! Our parents were busy working when we were young. During the day, Auntie from the family compound would help, but after school, it was up to me. My sister was very well-behaved; she would watch me do my homework without crying or fussing. When she grew older, no matter how much she craved meat, she would wait for us to finish eating before having any herself."
To Su Hongchen, his sister Su Xiaoxiao was the most adorable in the world. After bragging, he warned Jiang Yexun, "When you two get married and have kids, if they cry and fuss..."
"I’ll take care of them! Whether our children cry or not, I’ll be responsible," Jiang Yexun quickly assured.
Aunt Guo chimed in, "Even if Yexun can’t handle it sometimes, I can take care of the kids. Jiang Family’s children aren’t related to me by blood. Only my daughter and Yexun are, so their children will be my true grandchildren. I’ll make sure to take good care of them."
Su Hongchen awkwardly rubbed his nose, explaining, "I just meant, even if their kids are troublesome, don’t hit them so hard. Especially avoid kicking their heads or chests; those areas are very delicate and can get hurt easily."
"I don’t hit kids, and I certainly won’t hit my wife," Jiang Yexun emphasized sternly.
The Jiang Family members, seeing them chatting so enthusiastically, as if forgetting their presence, felt their smiles freeze into grimaces.
"Come on, let’s eat. I had my eldest daughter-in-law make braised pork especially for this meal. See if it’s any good," Jiang Guoli said with a smile, pointing to the plate of braised pork on the table.
Su Xiaoxiao looked warily at the braised pork, but then thought she might be overthinking it. The Jiang Family were so stingy; they wouldn’t use such an expensive dish as bait if they were really up to something.
