Kiss the Scumbag-Chapter 70
From the moment he woke up that morning, Yujin was unusually giddy, unable to calm himself. When the usual servant came by at the usual time, Yujin greeted him with a much brighter smile than usual. The man raised an eyebrow but asked the same routine question without comment.
“Nothing today. ...Um, will Harold be coming by today...?”
The question was cautious. The servant shook his head.
“No, not today. If you were hoping to see him—”
“N-no!”
Yujin burst out, alarmed, shaking his head violently.
“If he’s not coming, that’s fine. Really, if he doesn’t come then I actually...”
He barely held himself back from saying I’m glad. The servant stared at him blankly for a moment, then spoke again.
“I’ll be going, then. You’re sure you don’t need anything else?”
After one final check, he turned and walked away. Yujin let out a long sigh of relief and hurried to put away the food he’d received. He hastily made himself a sandwich, ate quickly, and kept moving around just to burn off the restless energy—but after finishing all the housework unusually early, time suddenly seemed to slow to a crawl. He tried forcing himself to read a book, but the words refused to stick.
I should get cleaned up. Get ready to go out.
Going out—he still couldn’t believe it. The thought of leaving this suffocating world to see somewhere else made his heart feel like it might explode. He rushed to the wardrobe and flung it open, but there weren’t many clothes to choose from. After some hesitation, he picked out the new outfit he’d been saving. Thank God he hadn’t worn it yet—just in case.
A clean shirt and cotton slacks. But when he put them on and stood in front of the mirror, the pants were far too short.
Maybe I saved them too long...
Flustered, he looked through the rest, but everything else was too worn. He changed outfits over and over again, trying on what little he had, and before he knew it, all that time he’d been trying to kill had vanished.
Still... this isn’t so bad, right?
He put the first outfit back on and faced the mirror again. Maybe because it was new, he thought he looked better than he ever had. Pleased, he smiled at his reflection, then checked the clock. It was still an hour before nine, but he couldn’t wait any longer. He ran downstairs.
“Winston!”
Yujin had been anxiously pacing outside the front door, and the moment he saw a man approaching on horseback, his face lit up. Winston stopped the horse at a distance to avoid Yujin getting hurt, jumped down, and ran toward him. Yujin’s cheeks were flushed, his eyes sparkling as he dashed forward—Winston caught him easily and spun him around in a wide arc, lifting him into the air.
“Aha-ha-ha!”
Yujin laughed out loud, pure joy in his voice. Winston laughed too as he slowed the spin and set him down.
“Were you waiting long?”
He kissed the corners of Yujin’s eyes and his cheeks like it was the most natural thing in the world. Yujin wrapped his arms around Winston’s neck and shook his head.
“No, I just came out. I missed you so much!”
Winston chuckled at the enthusiastic shout.
“So did I.” fгeewebnovёl.com
The kiss naturally found its way to Yujin’s lips. He opened his mouth slightly, welcoming it with a happy sigh. The moment Winston’s tongue slid inside, Yujin’s heart pounded uncontrollably. They’d kissed so many times—but it still made him feel like this. Maybe it always would.
Haa, haa.
Breathing hard from a mix of excitement and joy, Yujin caught Winston smiling.
“Harold didn’t come today, right?”
“Right.”
Yujin nodded immediately.
“I asked this morning—they said he wasn’t coming. He never shows up on days like that.”
“Good.”
Winston gave a strange little smile. Before Yujin could wonder why, he continued.
“He won’t be coming for a while. You can relax.”
“What?”
Yujin blinked in surprise. Winston went on.
“He’s not supposed to be here right now. Something big happened.”
“Something big...?”
Winston hesitated, then gave a vague smile.
“It’ll probably take at least a year to sort out.”
Yujin was dying to ask what it was—but didn’t get the chance. Just as he was about to speak, Winston’s eyes scanned him head to toe, and he asked,
“This is all the clothing you have?”
“Huh? Oh... yeah.”
Yujin nodded, caught off guard. He’d chosen what he thought was his best outfit, but maybe it looked bad?
“It’s my best one... I never wore it. Was saving it...”
He trailed off, embarrassed. Winston smiled.
“Really? So you saved this one just to wear for me?”
“Y-yeah.”
Yujin finally smiled back, relieved. Winston touched his nose to Yujin’s with a soft laugh.
“I’m happy. Let’s go—the car’s ready.”
“Okay.”
Yujin nodded, and Winston lifted him effortlessly ★ 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ★ before heading off. He placed Yujin on the horse first, then climbed up behind him. As the horse broke into a run, Yujin instinctively clung tightly to him.
“Scared?”
Winston held the reins with one hand, wrapping the other arm around Yujin. Turning slightly, Yujin gripped his waist and shook his head.
“I’m fine.”
But really, sitting so high and moving so fast, he felt like he could fall any second. And yet, with Winston’s warmth pressed against him, it felt like they could survive anything. He clutched Winston tighter, trying to calm his pounding heart.
They rode all the way to the stables. Winston dismounted first, helped Yujin down, then led the horse into its stall. The trip on foot had taken forever—but on horseback, it was over in a flash. Yujin waited nervously, noting how close they were to the main mansion. He tensed. But when Winston came back, he took Yujin’s hand and led him in the opposite direction. Relief washed over him.
A car was parked a little ways off from the stables. Winston opened the passenger door.
“Get in. Let’s go.”
“O-okay.”
Yujin slid into the seat as instructed. Winston shut the door and walked around to the driver’s side. Yujin looked around the inside of the car, curious. Starting the engine, Winston asked,
“Anything you want to ask?”
“Um... yeah.”
But nothing came to mind. You had to know something to ask good questions, after all. It had been so long since Yujin had even been in a car. Seeing one in a book was one thing—but riding in one was something else entirely.
“What’s the name of this car? They all have names, right?”
“Ferrari.”
“Ferrari...”
Yujin repeated the word softly. Winston said,
“Buckle up.”
“Huh? Oh...”
He looked around, clueless. Flustered and unsure what to do, Yujin panicked a little. Winston reached over and calmly explained,
“Just pull this and click it in here.”
Click. The buckle locked in place. Winston gave him a reassuring smile.
“Yujin, I know there’s a lot you haven’t experienced yet.”
His voice was gentle.
“You’ll experience everything, little by little. I’ll teach you. Don’t be afraid. It’s going to be okay.”
He asked again, softly, “Alright?” Yujin hesitated, then nodded. Winston smiled again, gave him a quick kiss, and turned his attention to the road.
“There’s a checkpoint at the front gate. Security will be watching, so just duck down for a second when I say. If we pass quickly, they won’t notice.”
“Okay.”
Yujin tensed and nodded. As the car sped up, he felt the pressure of acceleration pin him back in his seat. He clenched his fists and braced himself. And then—
“There. Now, Yujin.”
“Ahh!”
Before he could even react, the seat tilted back sharply. Yujin yelped, startled, but Winston didn’t stop—he shot past the checkpoint in a flash.
“All done.”
The seat slowly rose back up. Yujin blinked several times, feeling like the whole world was spinning.
“Wha...”
Then, beyond the window, he suddenly saw it—brilliant lights glowing in the distance. A city skyline, glittering. Eyes wide, he pressed against the window.
“Do you like it?”
Winston grinned, amused by his reaction. Yujin couldn’t tear his eyes away from the view.
“Yeah...”
He was breathless.
It’s like the stars fell to the ground.
He’d never seen anything so dazzling. Just as he was losing himself in the sight, the window rolled down. A rush of wind whipped at his cheeks, loud and wild. Yujin jumped a little—but didn’t hate it.
“Want me to close it?”
Winston asked. Yujin quickly shook his head. The wind was loud, but the air was unbelievably fresh. Slowly, he stretched his hand outside the car. That exhilarating sense of release surged through him like lightning.
For the first time, he’d stepped into the world.
Out of the prison called The Most Perfect Delight.
