Kimmy was on the bed and Cain just watched her put some of her stuff in his bedroom. He felt like he was dreaming. He and Kimmy would stay in the same bedroom for God. But somehow, he was worried about Kimmy's punishment. The word she used was 'torture...'

'Ah, it's definitely torturing me on the bed. Sleeping together without touching each other, right?' he mused with a sigh. He would endure it as long as Kimmy was by his side. He was honestly glad that she didn't get mad at him to the point of leaving him alone and not seeing him for a long time.

"I told you to rest and not watch me. You'll need all of the rest you can get, you know," Kimmy said with a meaningful tone in her voice as if she had a deeper meaning behind it. He was a psychiatrist, so it was easy for him to read her.

"Alright," Cain obediently replied as he laid down on the bed. He was a bit sleepy too, maybe because of the medicine's effect. Cain closed his eyes and dozed for to a quick nap.

Cain was already asleep when Kimmy finished transferring her things to his room. She sat beside him and stared at him for a moment. She raised her hand, gently touching Cain's face as she caressed his cheek.

"Silly… Why would you do that? Didn't you know how worried and hurt I was when you acted like you didn't recall me at all?" she whispered with a pout. Even then, she still understood Cain since she couldn't make him feel secure enough in their relationship.

She grabbed the ring in her pocket and put it on her finger. No one could tell what the future holds, but Cain's accident helped her realize a very important thing in their lives. They shouldn't waste this moment while they couldn't… It was time…

"Do you really think I can afford to torture you?" she murmured with a gentle smile on her face. She saw the worried look on Cain's face a while ago.

She moved to join Cain on the bed. Snuggling into his arms, she fell asleep.

Cain woke up with a soft body against his. He smiled as he opened his eyes and saw Kimmy's face close to his. She slept like a baby. He gently brushed off the strands of hair covering a part of her face.

"Thank you for staying here with me," Cain whispered with a sweet smile on his face. He would never get tired of looking at his princess' face.

Kimmy moved and lightly scratched her neck. Cain's eyes widened as he suddenly grabbed her hand.

"You're wearing it?" he whispered in disbelief. He even blinked several more times and touched the ring to make sure that it was really on her finger and that he was not just hallucinating.

Kimmy slowly opened her eyes and sheepishly whispered, "You're not dreaming. I'm really wearing it."

Her eyes opened wide when she noticed the tears rolling down Cain's cheeks. She gently caressed his cheeks and wiped those tears away while she teased, "You're such a crybaby."

"Does it mean that you're agreeing to marry me now?" Cain reconfirmed in his shaky voice.

Kimmy nodded. She lovingly cupped Cain's face, then moved to roll on top of him and give him a gentle kiss on his lips.

"Cain Lewis, I want to marry you whenever and wherever you want," Kimmy whispered while she continued peppering his lips with light kisses.

Cain was in cloud nine at that very moment. His heart was filled with too much bliss.

"I love you," he repeatedly whispered as Kimmy showered her face with sweet kisses.

"And I love you too," Kimmy answered back. Cain moved to change their position, pinning Kimmy's back on the bed and crashing his lips against hers hungrily.

"Oh, I missed this. I miss your lips and I miss everything about you like crazy," Cain huskily whispered in her mouth before sucking on her upper and lower lips alternately.

Kimmy moaned as Cain slipped his tongue inside her mouth, probing deeper and making every cell in her body crave for more.
